Superleuk verblijf gehad.

Wij hadden een studio. Ruim en veel opbergruimte. Superlief personeel. Eten was goed.

Best stay in Moroto

We really enjoy our stay in Kara-tunga that we even decided to extend one more night. Breakfast is really good, nice relaxing outside area and very nice staff. We did the market tour and the visit to the Karamojan village. Christine and Michael were our guides, they explained everything, answered all our questions and really exceeded our expectations. We really recommend stay in here for a few nights

Nice accommodation and tours

Nice room, nice food in the restaurant and variety of tours offered

It felt a bit impersonal. More like a big hotel where the staff didn't know whether you have done a tour with them or not. Also, the first room didn't have water but still gave it to us without offering a solution until we complained strongly.

The best place you can stay in de Karamoja region

I really enjoyed my two nights at Karamoja Safari Camp. The tent with the self contained bathroom was very good. Also the food was very tasty. Very friendly staff. You can do a lot of activities for a correct price. Theo, the owner and manager is a very friendly man who is committed to the community and region. They have very very good craft beer! Breakfast was great.

We have stayed here before and really enjoy it. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating. We love the cultural tours and the mountain nature hike with the guide. We always reccommned this place.

Superb

The location is good and it is a great value for money. They offer very nice tours, we did a 3 hours nature walk from which we learned many things. They employ young people from the area to do the tours so it helps the local economy which is great.

The mosquito net could have been in better condition as there were holes in it and was not long enough

Decent stay, but below expectations.

Clean room. Good coffee.

Breakfast was very sober. Many things from the menu were not there. Staff was not very friendly. Tours and guides are very expensive.

Friendly staff. Great food. Amazing location. And adorable Maxie the dog. Would visit again soon! They also organize superb walking tours.

Friendly staff, Good food Nice tent with shower (cold)

The 1 day hike they offer is a bit scary at some points. It’s not really a trail. You need to cross slippery big rocks and steep slopes. At one point you need to crawl on your stomach to get to the highest point.

Kara-Tunga is a comfortable place in Karamoja that tick all the boxes for authenticity, affordability, affability, and adventure. Kara-Tunga is a charming guesthouse in one of Uganda’s most beautiful and untouched parts —with a handful of rooms, big safari tents in the garden and a restaurant with bar, and very VERY good coffee, Kara-Tunga is well-positioned for exploring: The location is perfect for Safari’s, Cultural tours and hiking. From the moment we arrived in Karamoja everything was great! Kara-Tunga suited our trip perfectly. Theo is a great host and had clear and constant communication. He obviously cares about hospitality and making everyone feel welcomed. We will come back for more!
