We were very late arriving due to a train strike however Paula the host waited to greet us and brief us on everything we needed to know. There was helpful information provided including a good local map. There were masks,toothbrushes,water and some snacks thoughtfully provided in case we needed them. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious with cable television should you find time to watch it. The beach is so close as is the park and a variety of eating and drinking places with some fantastic seafood dishes toward the fish market. Everything you need is local and you can walk into Porto if you like walking as the walk is pleasant but there is a variety of public transport should you need it. Google maps will tell you that you have arrived about 100m before you do if you don't approach from the coast side of the building in this case look ahead of you and it is the mustard coloured low rise appartment block in front of you.There is a lot of regeneration taking place but that didn't affect our stay at all and will only further improve the location going forward.All in all great value for money and I would recommend for a few days relax and unwind as we did on our way back from walking the Camino Portuguese.

I like the location, the cleanness, the accomodation, the apt is very well equipped. The hostess is helpful and very nice.

The building door is a little hidden and it took a while to find it as google maps wasnt working well.

This residence will be my home whenever I go to Porto

Host is very polite and supportive. We had some troubles with the room and check-out process, and the host and her brother helped a lot!!! Room was clean and cozy, kitchen is full of stuff to cook, there were some snacks and water for us!
