The owner was telling that he is currently doing renovations on the whole venue and I really think this place can become something super lovely. The room was cheap but super niceđź’•

The bed was comfortable,the room was clean, shower was hot, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. over all a great stay.
the doona covers were a bit loud. very bright. the bedside lights had blown, and needed replacing.

It's a backpackers hostel not a motel. Rooms are very small, linen was basic, old backpackers place not upto a motel standard

Friendly check-in staff and very clean, warm & quiet.
Not a 'didn't like' but it was a little utilitarian and old fashioned. This is not a complaint, just a statement of fact. Outside the accommodation, be aware that on public holidays or long weekends like over the Christmas period when I was staying, there were virtually no places to eat out or any evening entertainment available. Fast food only on the edge of town and most shops closed. For all that I enjoyed my short stay.

Reception desk was unattended and resulted in a ½ hr wait in the car. Calls to the contact number on the desk were answered by an unintelligible message. Not just me either, there were two others who came and went while I was waiting.

I called on arrival and got no answer, I tried calling a few times with no answer, I slept in car that night thanks to the bunkhouse not answering there phone
