Enjoy the winter here at a discount & hike across the street on Acadia mountain! Bar Harbor is 11 miles, Southwest Harbor 4.4 miles, Cadillac Mountain is 14 miles and Bass Harbor head lighthouse is 8 miles. Close to ocean and hiking within a 1/2 mile. My home offers all the necessities for a perfect, relaxing Maine getaway and has a fully equipped kitchen (lobster pot and all!) to enjoy home cooked meals. Take dinner outside on the back deck and enjoy the cool, summer Maine nights. Enjoy the Firepit in backyard and watch the stars. The deer come to visit daily and many different kinds of birds. There is a short trail across the street to take a morning stroll. You can stay in touch with free WiFi /cable TV. ONLY DOGS ALLOWED!

The place was cute and had great access to the hiking trail across the street. Definitely try out that trail if you stay, a nice morning hike! The house was ok, it happened to be very hot this week and it would get very hot in there by the time we got back in the evenings. I would say a couple window fans would be nice to help out with that. All in all the property was well maintained and it was great to have a fenced portion of the yard for the dog!!

Great location, central to everything you would want to do at Acadia NP & Bar Harbor but in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Really appreciated the fenced area of the yard for the dogs (although be aware it is not fully enclosed but we were able to block it off with chairs). Our group loved the fire-pit area as well, it is a really nice touch.

This is the perfect rental for Bar Harbor and Acadia. We had all the comforts of home to escape the hustle of Bar Harbor but close enough to it all so we didn’t spend the majority of our days in the car. We loved the bonfires we could have at night. Sleeping with the windows open for the cool Maine nights was perfect. This is a great home for young families. Thank you for the great week!

Nice quiet location. Some 15 or 20 minutes to much of Acadia and Bar Harbor. Some hiking trails closer as well as local kayaking. Seamless check in process. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed back yard fire pit. Thanks Nancy.

This property was perfect for a relaxing week visiting Acadia NP. Our expectations were met and even exceeded with this property. It was clean, neat and homey. The fire pit was great and they had TONS of firewood for us to use! There is an awesome trail head across the street and the location is very peaceful and quiet. Several "ponds" and mountains are within a 5-10 min drive of the property and a grocery store is just a few minutes down the road as well. We loved staying here. The management is also very considerate. We accidentally confused our departure date and when the cleaning crew arrived to our surprise, they were very kind and allowed us space and time to gather our things before leaving. The booking process was also simple and straightforward and the manager was quick to respond to questions and concerns. THANK YOU!!!

This was a wonderful home base for our 4 day stay in Acadia! My husband & I, and a friend visiting from California, had all we needed in this neat, clean, nicely-outfitted house. Very comfortable and reasonably priced. The homeowners provided a "house book" (wish every VRBO property had something like this!) that included menus, maps, and hints about how to make the most of our time there. Excellent communication, very clean, and an all-around charming spot. We hope to be back next year. Thank you!!

We found this home very clean and comfortable for our week long stay with our two teenagers and our small dog. We were somewhat hesitant to book because there were no reviews at the time, but we are glad we took the chance. We were happy to find a pet friendly rental that showed no signs of pet hair, and had clean, comfortable beds and furnishings. We found the home to be in a convenient location, yet it was quiet and surrounded by woods. We made good use of the grill, fire pit and lobster pot. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!
