Beautiful apartments in a great location, just a short walk to the Old Town. Panagiotis was always happy to help, made restaurant reservations for us, helped us to book a rental car and made excellent recommendations.

The staff and location it was exceptional we was welcomed by Peter and he made us feel at home straight away he really does go above and beyond for his guests I loved my time here and look forward too returning .

Everyone in the property was very nice and friendly. Pangiotis, the owner of the property was super helpful and gave a lots of local tips and even helped us to booked an amazing restaurants in Zia village so we got the chance to enjoy the best view and great food at that location. The property is located a bit away from Kos Town but it is within walking distance (~15mins) which I feel very comfortable to walk even at night. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and stay here if I am back to Kos island.

We had a lovely stay at Gelli Apartments. The welcome by the owner Pana got us really excited for our stay here. He is too kind, and a great guide for top things to do around the island and restaurants he can recommend. We rented a bike for two days which the owner arranged for us, to cycle around Kos town. After that we got a car so we could explore more of the island. The room was quiet, nice and clean, good aircon and enough mirrors to get yourself ready. One of the best nights was Wednesday when they host greek night with a greek bbq and dancing performances! Highly recommend this Appartment!

We got a very warm welcome by Panangotis, the owner of the apartments. He did his best to make our stay a perfect one. He gave us helpful hints on sights, beaches, restaurants… He also arranged a pick up from a scooter rental for us. Panangotis is for sure the most caring and commited host we have met. The rooms are exactly like in the pictures. Its very clean, the kitchen very well equipped with all you need. The rooms get cleaned every day by wonderful and friendly Alina. Pana and his brother spoiled us with fresh figs and grapes. The pool and Pool bar are also recommended. We ate the best Moussaka there. All in all a wonderful place to stay. We will be back for sure.

I loved this stay!!! So good !!! Pete (the owner) messaged me throughout the booking process and met me on the day to personally hand over the keys and introduce my partner and me to the room. He was always on hand to help, planned many perfect surprises as we traveled for a romantic getaway and a celebration, and was eternally polite and gracious. This stay was stellar. He also provided us with a map and told us all the best places to eat, drink, take boat tours, and the best way to travel around the island. Loved the location, the people, the place! Everything exceeded our expectations! We will be visiting Kos only to enjoy staying at the Gelli apartments a bit more.

Pete was amazing and went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable and help us to navigate the island and what to do.

there was absolutely nothing to dislike he even has a shower for us to use in our last day so that we could still enjoy the pool once we had checked out!

Everything was perfect! The friendliest host, Panagiotis, that saved us with a spare room when our flight landed in the middle of the night, thank you! Nice and clean room. Very friendly staff in the pool area/bar. Just a couple of minutes walk to Kos Town. We can not wait to go back!

The apartment was very nice and the owner welcomed us very warmly :) He suggested us the best beaches and experiences to do not miss in Kos (including restaurants and bar). Together with the apartment you can enjoy also the swimming pool. Strongly suggested specially if you want to avoid the busy center of Kos.

- Peaceful yet accessible location: Short (flat) 10 minute walk on a mostly lit road to Kos town while away from busy tourist centre. The walk was much shorter and easier than we were anticipating from reading other reviews. - Exceptional refurbished room: VERY comfortable bed, small well equipped kitchen area, great for preparing breakfast on the balcony. Very clean and great attention to detail! They take genuine pride in the quality of the room, everything is very well thought out to a standard you would never expect from a so called "2 star" hotel. It was a true 5 star experience. - The owner Panagotis went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our stay in Kos. Great personal touch by remembering our names and chatting with us each time we saw him. On arrival he helped us understand the island and which areas we must visit. Panagotis provided (and booked) us great local restaurants and helped us avoid the tourist traps. This included him booking a great table for us at an amazing (fully booked) restaurant to watch the Zia sunset. - We would recommend hiring a car for at least part of your stay, not due to the location of the hotel but to allow you to explore the whole island instead of just the nearby Kos town, without the hassle of public transport. There is adequate parking spaces which is not always the case for many places in the area. - There was a small shop at the end of the road that I am sure provides everything you need, for us we did not visit as with the hire car we could use larger supermarkets (Lidl) less than 10 minutes drive away. - The pool area was very pleasant with a snack bar open at all hours, clean and good size pool only 1 minute from any of the rooms. The area was mostly quiet and had a refreshing breeze on most days with plenty of shade and sun! If you are like us and are searching for a great value Greek experience, stop reading and book now! We will be recommending Gelli Apartments to others.

- Pool is shared with the hotel next door so can get busy at peak times, however we never had issues finding sunbeds and an umbrella. - The walk was perfectly fine for us but for those with mobility issues or young children it could be a small issue, However a taxi is only a few euros or Panagotis may even take you as he insisted for us a couple of evenings.

Friendly owner Pete was able to accommodate our early check in request with both rooms being available prior to 1pm. Welcomed with bottles of cold water upon arrival and welcome packs consisting of fresh fruit plus soft drinks & wine as well as local hints & tips on what Kos Town & wider island had to offer. Rooms bright, modern, very clean & well appointed. Pool & bar area run by friendly family who again only had one main aim which was to make everyone’s holiday as enjoyable as possible. Able to have a room until 9:30pm on final day due to very late flight home at no extra cost, taxi transfer to airport also organised via owner. Pete & his team couldn’t do enough to ensure stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We all left with a very good impression.

Only one small improvement point to note - sun beds at pool area could do with being updated as some are either damaged or looking a bit dated.

Friendly helpful staff, especially the manager Peter was so helpful that nothing was too much trouble, from booking hire cars, restaurants and recommending places to go. His motto was attention to detail and he certainly fulfilled that in every aspect. James, Maddy and Emma

This is the best place to stay in Kos in case you are planning to explore the island. Panagiotis, the owner of Gelli apartments is the nicest, most passionate and coolest person we have met in Kos. What impressed us the most was the hospitality and that he was always available for his guests and did everything possible to make our stay special. On our arrival he was waiting for us already and welcomed us with bottles of cold water and fresh fruits + local wine in our apartment. He gave us a map of Kos and shared with us daily the best places/beaches/restaurants and hidden gems which we would have never been able to find by our own (Car/Scooter/Quad recommended to explore the beautiful island and Pana's recommendations). The first day we didn't have a car so he gave us a ride and even organised a car for us which was delivered the following day directly to our apartment. We have planned to stay 7 nights in Gelli but as we liked it so much we cancelled our pre booked hotel and prolonged another 4 nights which was the best decision. The apartments are very clean and well equipped, kitchen is a plus, comfy bed, big balcony, AC working properly, huge pool with enough sunbeds and umbrellas, restaurant next to the pool for breakfast/lunch/dinner or the pool bar for some cocktails in the evening with music. Pana's family is always around for some chit chat. Generally quiet place, where you can relax and enjoy Greece nature. The price is abolutely fair and reasonable. A small grocery shop is located near the apartments. So, what do you want more? :-)

Nothing, our stay was perfect. Consider that the place is 15min walk to the city center and other couple of min to the harbour or to the city beach. Bike or any vehicle are highly recommended and can be booked with Pana's help or in Kos town at any rental station.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gelli apartments! Pete gave us lots of recommendations of what to do and where to eat in Kos Town to make the most of our stay and really looked after us, he was an amazing host and really good fun! The apartment itself was extremely clean and tidy and the pool and bar area were fab.

It was a little further out of Kos Town than we anticipated.

"Peter" was an outstanding host and very helpful. The room was very comfortable, very clean, everything works. Lovely quiet location but just enough rooms to make it sociable too, a perfect balance. One of the best places we stayed on our four week tour and great value too. I will very happily go back. Thank you Peter.

Pete was an absolutely amazing host. We were his last guests of the summer and he was always on hand to help us out. He gave us amazing restaurant and beach tips, lots of tasty treats and leaving gifts, and was so fun to talk to and learn about his island life. The King size bed was super comfy and the room was spotless every day. A little walk from town but good to walk off all the food! Couldn't recommend staying here more!

New Apartments, quiet location, snack and pool bar. The host takes care of his guests. Recommendations were always one hundred percent good. The familiar atmosphere of the staff, who are always helpful and friendly.

The apartments themselves are spacious, extremely clean, and well equipped! Mr Panayiotis, the owner is literally the best host I have ever seen in my life! He offered to pick us up from the port! Upon arrival he provided us with comprehensive information on where to go in Kos. He literally goes out of his way to make sure we have a great stay! I can highly recommend Gelli's apartments!

Everything was superb!

Appartement was fully renovated, very clean and spacious. Including a small kitchen, large two persons bed, amazing balcony and AC. Swimming pool was quite big and not so crowded: enough sun beds with umbrellas. A bar next to the swimming pool which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, beers, drinks and cocktails until the late evening, being a lively social gathering point. Gelli apartments offers its customers everything it can offer; from well places advice about sight seeing, to specific recommendations for restaurants and bars. After arriving, you will become a part of the family that governs these nice apartments and actually feel sad once you have to leave the island of Kos. The hosts will go out of their way to make sure your stay will be amazing and are very helpful every day. Thank you Panagiotis, Steve, George and Costa! If we ever decide to return to Kos, we know where to book our stay.

This family apartment was ideal for us. Big, airy rooms and super cool aircon. Huge double bedroom with a fabulous big balcony and another twin room, perfect for the teenagers. Pete the owner couldn't be more helpful. He even took my daughter and I to the pharmacy when she had a poorly eye. On our arrival there was a lovely dish of fresh grapes and figs grown in their own garden for us - as well as a bottle of local wine. Can't recommend highly enough!
