L'emplacement au bord du lac Nasser, la chambre spacieuse, le calme, l'amabilité du personnel, la restauration, la superbe piscine.

The location is superb. Very friendly staff though not very well trained in terms of bar/appetizer. Long time to get a drink at the pool.

The Seti Abu Simbel resort was nice and staff very helpfull, they gave an upgrade room as the first time in this hotel that was very nice, the breakfast, lunch and dinner excellent with a variety of options.
We had a minor problem with the room key lock that hotel need to be fix, that's all

upgraded to a suite. food & beverages excellent. wonderful view of Lake Nasser. 10 mins by car to Abu simbel temple. definitely stay overnight and go to temples in afternoon - not busy then - had to ourselves and
2 other tourists. essam Manager very helpful.

Great location near the temples and at Lake Nasser. The pool is lovely. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
We really payed too much for our rooms, even despite we had a free upgrade: no wifi in the room, curtains partly falling from the rails, broken lamp, outdated electricity wires, safe not working and loose in the closet. I wonder why all the money the tourists have spend in this hotel is not used for maintenance. If you want to earn this amounts of money (300$ for 1 night, 6$ for a beer, in Egypt!) you have to follow high hotel standards. No blame to the receptionists, waiters and cleaners because they are doing their job very well. My complaint concerns the management and the owner(s) of the hotel.

so relaxing. the food was amazing 🤩
no internet in the rooms but very good internet in public areas.

You could feel the peace and the powerful forces of the river caving its way through the desert. The property just meld into its surroundings.
The beautiful pool over looking the Nile and the nice soft music they played.

Convenient location to Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser with a nice pool.
The prices were very high. The pool was freezing, the buffet was not good. The toilet in our room was not attached and you practically fell on the floor when using it. The chair on our patio was also broken. For the high price we paid, there should not have been major maintenance problems with the room and the pool should have been heated.

We stayed here for one night - super location overlooking Lake Nasser - 5 minutes drive from Abu Simbel. The hotel is very impressive set in its own private grounds and with a great pool area. The room was very spacious and tastefully furnished. Cool balcony with a view of the Lake. On checking in, we were upgraded to have breakfast included - this was great as it cost around $30 each. The breakfast buffet had a great variety to suit all tastes. Would definitely stay again if we could afford to!
It's fairly expensive but you can see why. Disappointing that there was no wifi in the room - only in communal areas - which seems odd for such an impressive hotel. The hotel souvenir shop was very expensive.

It’s very pretty, rooms super cute.
Staff was wonderful.
No wifi in the room—you just had to go out to the pool—very close, but if you like to lay in bed and scroll, you have to use data.

The view, the pool and the proximity to the Temple are great!
Room are a little dated for American Standards...but we did not care!

Location, balcony, lake view, good bathroom.
No wi-fi in the rooms! I'm paying near US$'300 a night!!! Are you serious???
The safe is old and tiny and not working properly. I travel a lot and I know how it should work and I know the sizes of other hotels.
Also their breakfast does not match the room rate.
If they charge every service in the hotel in USD then their staff should all speak English!!!
Hope you publish my review in full.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. It is still old
and needs some updating. The staff were so nice and
accommodating, but the problems are systemic in that
the cleanliness is not always addressed……dust under
beds, behind doors, bugs, some of the air conditioners
are not working, curtains are coming off of the rods,
etc.. The pool area is lovely and the restaurant had a
lot of variety. But, much of the meat was dry and there
were many bugs in the food at buffet outside in the
evening. Overall, a lovely stay, but could use some
improvements. Thank you.
The hotel could use some modernization/updating and everything cloud be cleaner.

The property design and landscaping is beautiful. The room design is Nubian style, large and comfortable. We were upgraded at arrival and had a terrace with wonderful sunset views. The hotel is very peaceful overlooking the lake. Perfect for relaxing. location is 10 min walk from Abu Simbel entrance. Egypt air has a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
The food options could be improved to match the arquitectura and care of the hotel.

Food is bad.

very unfriendly staff at the front desk. My emails before arrival weren't even answered, except once...and that was a terse answer. At the desk. no smiles, no nothing. A frown and a key.
Rooms are NOT clean, and feel very 3rd world to me. Of course it IS the 3rd world, but there are plenty of nice hotels in Egypt. This isn't one of them

The Seti Abu Simbel Lake Resort is a really lovely place to stay. We recommend you to stay at least one night here, really relaxing.
The rooms are super spaces, and the hotel complex is very lovely. They even plant their own vegetables and herbs for using in the restaurant. We really loved to hear that.
The stuff is very friendly. Also, they helped us to organize the transport from and to Aswan, which was really well organized. To the Abu Simbel Temple you could walk within 20 minutes from the hotel.
We would prefer a menu in the restaurant instead of a buffet. Dishes was not bad, but still buffet

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, fabulous pool, good breakfast. Wonderful views over Lake Nasser.
The a la carte menu in the restaurant was slightly disappointing.

We stayed at the end of January 2022 for one night in Executive Suite. I can say that the room is kind of dated BUT is really clean and in good condition and has all the amenities you need and more. The view from our balcony to the lake was spectacular, the sunset was amazing. The room itself is really huge and had 2 toilets which is nice. The bed was super comfy. It was exceptionally cold during our stay so it was nice to have an AC with heater.
Due to covid19 there was not a lot of people at the resort so it felt we had the whole place to ourselves. The food was really good and the breakfast was super good and a lot to choose from, special thanks to the omelet makers :D We got also some complimentary sugarcane dring from the manager. It was really yummy, thank you for that! All the personnel was really nice, welcoming and professional.
We went to the Abu Simpel Temples in the morning at 6 am, walking distance btw, and had the whole place to ourselves for 1.5 hours, only 2 dogs rumbling around. We saw one of the most amazing sunrises in the world just by ourselves, huge highlight of our trip!
Since it was exceptionally cold during our stay we could not really use the pool since it was not heated, but that is again just a minor negative thing.

Room was upgraded for free for the highest category.
Hotel is old, but maintains well. Staff is friendly, all is clean, food is ok. Wonderful view from hotel territory and from the room to lake Nasser. Fantastic sunset from the room.
Some repair for open air furniture.

Very nice location, Nasser lake view.
The furniture and one A/C in the suite were quite old.

the hotel is located in a very beautiful place! you can watch the sound an lint show the day you arrive and then the next day visit the temple. the bed was very good.
the hotel is old, everything is old and needs to be replaced and the worst was that we stayed 2 nights and the restaurant open was only a menu from the cafeteria with really bad frozen pizza and bad made pasta. the grill was kind of ok, but we’re not eating meat everyday so we were happy to leave and eat well! maybe it was like this due covid cancelations… anyway the place is beautiful and it’s worth at least 1 night!

Great location. Nice food. Friendly staff. They extended the breakfast time only because we came back a bit late. That was a great gesture.
No internet connection in the room. But that is also written in booking.com!

amazing pool and views , 10 min walk to the site
overpriced due to the lack of other options
