Servicio Espectacular

Me encantó la bienvenida recibida por el personal, en especial a Mohamed y AbdelHay, ofreciendo un servicio excepcional. El personal es muy amable y servicial, nos recomendaron lugares por donde ir y por donde pasar y si se necesita cualquier cosa, siempre están dispuestos a servir a cualquier hora del día. También la localización es perfecta y el hotel es muy seguro y tiene un ambiente muy acogedor. Las vistas desde la terraza son espectaculares, pudiendo ver toda la ciudad de Meknes. El desayuno es muy completo. Les mando un saludo y un fuerte abrazo.

It was nice and comfy, and easy access to everywhere, we liked it

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Selma. Everything was great and staff was very friendly. The owner is very caring and keeps checking if you're okay and he'd go out of his way to look after you. We def recommend this place and we will stay here again if we are in Meknes. Thanks

Superb

The hotel is in the old part of the city so it is very close to shops, the market, and cafes. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful and very kind. It was definitely great to have breakfast up on the roof every morning. I even had a friend (who was not staying at the hotel) come have breakfast with me and they did not charge us anything extra.

The bed was not very comfortable, but I was only staying for a couple of nights so it wasn't a big problem. The bathroom is also small. It looks exactly as the pictures show & it is old but everything works.

Hospitable, kind and accommodating staff.

Excellent staff, great location, breakfast can be improved but overall was good. Communication was a stand out for me.

Breakfast can be little bit improved. Mohammed, Mukthaar and Hishaam and Karima are great hosts, Masha Allah. Thank you so much!

Our stay was really great! The location is right in the medina, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the terrace is beautiful and has a great view over the city! The owner and all of the crew of the riad are really nice and were always willing to help us and make our stay perfect! We could even leave our luggage there after the check out and chill on the terrace! Thanks a lot for everything!

Best thing about riad Selma is the people. Such great hospitality! You feel right at home. On top of that great location, very clean, the breakfast is delicious and hearty. And again, AMAZING staff and so kind. Thank you for all your help, hospitality and kindness. If we're ever in Meknes, I will definitely stay there. We loved it and wholeheartedly recommend.

Great riad in Meknes!!

The riad is in a perfect location in the old town but only 5 min walk from a guarded parking space. It is in a beautiful old house with amazing tiles and decor. We had a spacious room with bathroom, hot water, air condition that worked well, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great! We loved that lemon juice. Mohamed and his team are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The riad has the best terrace you can imagine, you get a view over the whole medina. Would definitely stay there again.

The owner is very nice and helpful. The terrace is great, very nice. The room was clean and the bathroom is ok. The shower is pretty good. The location is good since it is in the beginning of the medina very well situated.

Nothing really. All was quite good. Maybe the mattress could be more comfortable; it was quite hard.

Absolutely recommended!

We stayed two nights at Riad Selma and had the best time ever! After we were warmly welcomed by Mohammed and his colleagues at the door, we had a coffee on the stunning rooftop and then Mohammed showed us around the medina. The house itself is very beautiful and the rooms were absolutely clean, including AC and even a hot shower. All the staff was so friendly and helpful, we immediately felt very comfortable. They all really cared about our wellbeing and helped us with everything, be it train bookings, pharmacy shopping or general recommendations. They even made us breakfast at 6am before we left and organised a taxi. Meknes has enchanted us and the Riad Selma with its great people has made a big contribution to this. We travel on a little wistfully with great memories and new friendships. Thank you Team Riad Selma!! Absolutely recommended!

Excellent

The Ryad is really traditional and colourful, with two roof terraces, one above the other, with the view of all Meknes. Breakfast is Moroccan rich breakfast. The manager Moktar very willingly helped me in many things; some of them I could have done by myself but with a considerable loss of time. So my stay at Ryad Selma couldn't have been better.

Ok..ish: fairly average Riad but good location

The Riad was ok but a bit hap hazard... it was staffed by young boys who were polite but some weren’t able to speak very good English or French.... this is perfectly acceptable of course since we are in Morocco.... but the standards were different. Often quite a strong smell of dope wafting up from outside!! and at times it felt like we were on the outskirts of a Cheech and Chong movie The heater worked well which was good as it was cold.

There was no problem when we asked for things but we do sort of expect toilet paper and soap!! They didn’t automatically clean our room but did when we asked The shower was ok but only worked hand held which made it cold ... it didn’t drain well and without any form of curtain the floor got quite wet

Fabulous

The receptionist was really kind, we needed to leave super early in the morning and they left us breakfast prepared. He was giving us tips about what to visit and offered us tea when we arrived. The terrace has a great view and there is a small restaurant which is really beautiful and fresh. It is also close to the main square.

The house is a bit old and it needs some maintenance. The room was a little dark and the bathroom didn’t convince us.
