You are the ONLY guests in a suite of four, completely private, cosy and romantic rooms where decks overlook your small swimming pool, landscaped stonewall gardens and gum tree forests. HomeAway/Stayz COVID-19 cleaning protocols are adhered to . You're just 10-15 minutes walk from the village of Kangaroo Valley and 3 minutes from the famous Hampden Bridge, Kangaroo River and a pump track. The very private and independent apartment is beautifully positioned against a tranquil forest of majestic white gums. Kangaroos are often seen grazing on the lawns. A wombat or an echidna may also wander by. Wake to the sound of bird calls, NOT the alarm clock. Enjoy the de-stressing experience of just gazing out through any one of the large windows into bushland or across to mountain escarpments. A new experience? Walk the Labyrinth for a moment of pure peace. Step through the Moongate into a new beginning. Sit on the Yin/Yang Circle of stones just outside your unit. Watch the sunset through the gum trees - from your deck. The Apartment The apartment has country appeal with extensive use of timber and glass. An exotic touch enhances the decor. Snuggle beneath throw rugs on the chaise lounge and choose a DVD, or your favourite music. Cuddle up in a very comfortable queen-size bed. Kitchen facilities allow for preparation of light meals, with a microwave oven and a large electric frypan provided. Coffee and teas are provided in the unit. (Peak Rates apply during Peak Periods.) Easter weekend is a 4x night minimum. long weekends, a 3x night minimum. The Labyrinth The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol that represents wholeness, a meandering but purposeful path. It is different to a maze: the 'way in' is the 'way out'. Walk the Labyrinth in quiet meditation or dance it in celebration. The moving power of the Labyrinth can bring new beginnings and healing. It is possible to experience great waves of emotion whilst in the Labyrinth. You might simply enjoy concentrating on the walk itself. It is a beautiful way to slow down and find a moment of peace.

Cheryl was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and answered any questions promptly. The accommodation was as described and the little Christmas tree in the lounge room was a thoughtful touch. The accommodation itself was cute, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The gardens just stunning. Unfortunately due to the weather we didn't get to use the pool, but it looked very inviting! Such a peaceful and serene place. Thank you so much Cheryl for sharing your little patch of paradise!

Allambie Gums was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. We woke up to kangaroos every morning and would be perfect for a couples getaway or small family. Cheryl was very easy to communicate with & we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend at Allambie Gums. It's a very nice little 2 bedroom cottage which was quite comfortable for a family of 4. The decor inside was very tasteful giving a rustic feel. An exhaustive set of DVDs and a few boardgames can keep your family engaged. The location was very convenient close to Hampden bridge and also to village center. Thanks a lot Cheryl for your hospitality. Cheers

Charming accommodation backing onto the bush. We woke to kangaroos outside. Our kids loved exploring the delightful gardens, and we enjoyed choosing from the many little nooks to sit outside with a cuppa (or beverage of choice). Close to town (15 min walk to centre) but provides the peace and quiet of the bush. Many thoughtful details inside, including tips on where and when to spot local wildlife, which resulted in our first ever encounter with a wombat. Easy access to all the attractions in the area; and this area has plenty, it’s absolutely gorgeous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

What a lovely place despite the outdated decor and lack of cooking facilities. The accommodation is small but cosy and the pool is a relief in summer. The garden was large and beautiful and seems to have a resident wombat. The host responded quickly but kept her distance during my visit. And Kangaroo Valley was amazingly green and gorgeous this time.

We have immensely enjoyed our stay in this lovely accommodtion. It was so clean and so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and Cheryl, the owner, the perfect hostess. The Kangaroo Valley village is beautiful, nice coffee shops, a very good delicatessen, etc ... Certainly we will be back. A huge big thanks to Cheryl.

The cottage/apartment was clean, extremely comfortable and quirky. The highlight for me though, was the incredible garden, with its labyrinth, moongate and yin/yang garden. Cheryl was a an incredable host , her communication prompt and easy. So close to the village (walking distance) yet at the same time you felt a million miles away. Highly recommend this place - perfect for couples as well, who want a nice romantic getaway.

We travelled for a few days cycling, and Kangaroo Valley provided perfect spring days and excellent rides, while Allambie Gums gave us a peaceful and cozy home to return to in the chilly evenings.

Ad for property didn't match the property we turned up to. When I question the owner, she attacked me personally. The deceit and lies in the ad were only matched by the owners angry and unpleasant nature. Tread carefully.

Very peaceful

The place was nice, however is not freestanding from the owners unit which may not be what others are looking for. We had complete privacy though. It has a kitchenette not a full kitchen as advertised (no oven) but we are out so that was no problem. The mattress was incredibly stiff though and made it hard for a full night's sleep which was the only draw back in our opinion.
