About this house rental
Situated in Bruges, this lovely house for $249 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Charming two storey house apartment in a restored seventeenth century house. This retreat was recently officialy licensed as a **** holiday house by the flemish tourist board. High degree of home feeling assured through the use of quality construction materials and selective furniture pieces in a picturesque setting. All house comfort with laundry cleaning facilities in the basement and well equipped open kitchen. Refreshing corner with shower cabin on the first floor and nice bathroom with bath on the upper floor. Nice small roof terrace. The Master bedroom is quite spacious and has a beautiful beam ceiling all the way in the saddle roof top. The second bedroom has a small dressing under the japanese staircase that leads to a mezzanine under the saddle roof top where you can find a large double bed . Please note that this bedroom is very cosy but has a completely different setting then the master bedroom. It is very much loved by children and young people although being used all the time by grown-ups also. For elderly it might be a bit more difficult in use. Provision of services such as taxi-shuttle services, catering, guiding, a.o. The house is located at two steps of the canals and a three minute walk from the market square. This dwelling ensures an unforgettable short stay or holiday period.

When we arrived at Casa Michaelangelo, Alex helped us up the stairs with our luggage, gave us a tour of the apartment and then wonderful suggestions to make our stay truly memorable. The air conditioner worked great with the warm temps, the art work and decor are first class and the location is convenient to all places in Bruges!

we stayed at Casa Michelangelo during our first ever visit to Brugge. it was amazing! the house was more spacious than i expected from the pictures. it was super clean, so modern and comfortable. all the amenities were up to date. so convenient having a washer and dryer. i loved the architectural details of the house.
it was an easy walk to everything. but on a quiet street. Alex was so helpful. we were able to leave our luggage early, and then he also gave us a lot of helpful suggestions for local places to eat and chocolate shops!
i wish we could have stayed much longer than the short visit we had, as it could not have been any more perfect.

Casa Michelangelo was a beautifully restored and renovated apartment in the perfect location in Bruges! My family (kids 12, 9, & 7) had an amazing and comfortable time here. From the start, Alex greeted us on the street as we walked up and stored our luggage until the apartment was clean. He gave us all the codes and also had a nice set of recommendations and instructions for us. The food recommendations were spot on and L’Estaminet and the bagel breakfast place almost next door were amazing and very accommodating for families.
This place was very well kept and cozy. The main floor starts on the second level with street access leading to a marble staircase (European style, meaning there’s not a lot of space but it’s very cool how they’ve adapted everything). Main floor has a bathroom, living room, dining room & kitchen and a spiral staircase that leads to the 3rd floor. Upstairs is a nice spacious master bedroom and spacious bathroom. There’s another small room with a pull out single bed that was nicely made up for our family of 5 and the room also has a neat wooden staircase up to the attic/loft bedroom (4th floor) that the kids loved.
The apartment is only minutes walking to pretty much anything you’d like to see or do and about a 25-35 min walk from the train station depending on walking traffic. The cobblestones aren’t fun to walk with luggage so when we go back we will definitely use Taxi Sam (ask Alex for his number) for a ride from the train. Highly recommend!!

We can't recommend this home highly enough. Look no further. It was the highlight of all the properties we stayed at on our recent trip to Europe.

The Casa Michelangelo served as our home away from home while in Bruges. Our host, Alex, was extremely gracious and went out of his way to tell us about local attractions. He keeps a meticulous, tastefully decorated property with tons of natural light throughout. Walking distance to everything.
We were only there a couple nights and were so sad to leave. We would say there again in a minute.

This apt is in a great location just outside the busy tourist area. Its very quiet and allow easy access to all parts of Bruges. Alex is an excellent host and gave us many good recommendations for our visit.

This apartment, really a home, was absolutely amazing in every way. We were 2 women who rented this property, and it was so comfortable, warm, and most inviting. The area was absolutely perfect, a easy & close walking distance to the main area of Bruges, but far away enough to have complete silence at night. also, a very easy walk to the train station that we took advantage of during our time there on many occasions. Such a lovely city with incredibly kind and lovely people who were so welcoming and a huge thumbs up to an incredible host, Alex. He was always available to us whenever we texted or called upon him. Thank you very much Alex for allowing us to rent your home, we have hopes to return again soon and to stay in

We booked this in 2019 and due to pandemic only just got to go ..been worth the wait and we loved it . Alex has been amazing considering we changed the date a few times and gave us great tips on sightseeing and good restaurants. Will definitely be back as loved Brugge such a lovely place and people.Apartment is in a great location for everything and decor in keeping with this very beautiful 17th century building . Just another shout out to Alex he really was a fantastic help ..

My mother and I very much enjoyed our stay in Alex’s home. He was a gracious host, allowing us to leave our luggage and have lunch while the apartment was being prepared. I stayed in the attic room and it was a very comfortable bed, as was the main bedroom. Photos and description of apartment are accurate so be sure you are comfortable with stairs. I liked the added touches, such as the slippers and the access to laundry. Danke wel Alex!

Amazing place
Casa Michelangelo is cosy and welcoming, as is the host Alex. Beautiful old Flemish house with everything you need, off the beaten track but 2 minutes away from the centre. Secure parking was just a few doors down. Alex was happy to answer any questions and his recommendations helped us make the most of our time in Bruges so definitely suggest making them top of your list. Already looking to book a return visit to Casa Michelangelo, such a gem.

Casa Michaelango and Alex were wonderful hosts during our short stay in Bruges. Perfect place for my wife, myself, and another couple. The location is a 5 to 15 minute walk from anything Bruges has to offer. A definite must stay.

A wonderful 4 night stay in lovely Bruges
Alex’s property was a fantastic base for my wife, daughter and I’s exploration of Bruges and Ostend. Everything was as pictured and described and the house was extremely clean and well-kept. Alex provided a wealth of information at check-in that helped shape our stay. We hope to return some day!

Fantastic Spot
What a great place!! Second floor apartment, location was perfect, layout was cozy and the terrace was a nice touch. The kitchen was great to cook in. Alex was great and always available. We went in July and it was HOT, although there is "ac" they are not strong enough to really cool. With that being said, most of Europe doesnt have ac at all. Despite that, we would stay again. Lovely home.

Very clean apartment which is a short walk to the main market square.
Only 1 super king bed and 1 double bed, so bear this in mind when booking.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone as the check in process was quick. Onsite parking was very convenient too.

The apartment is close to everything. The host Alex was super nice, and patient. As we were in constant communication with him prior to our arrival since we were uncertain of the country COVID restrictions. He lives next door so he’s available if needed. Will definitely stay here again :)

Excellent property, wish we'd stayed longer
We were really happy with our stay in this property. We stayed mid December for two nights, and I wish we'd stayed longer, just so we could have enjoyed the apartment more.
I actually think I would like to spend a Christmas there for a week.
Only two very minor points, there were a couple of nuts in the sofa bed when that was unfolded, and there was a small hole in the bed sheet in the loft bedroom.
But as I say, very minor points.
The apartment was stunning, and in a great location, much closer to the town centre than we expected.
Owner was friendly and helpful.
The welcome pack of chocolate and beer was a very nice touch!
We have visited Bruges many times, but have always stayed in hotels.
I can happily say that from now on this property will be our first preference.

Our stay at Casa Michelangelo was terrific. Alex communicated promptly with us and answered any questions that we had. He was informative about the town of Bruges. Our arrival time changed and he was able to accommodate us. The apartment is spacious with well equipped amenities. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with all that we would need. There were sitting areas to relax and enjoy our vacation. The location is convenient with nearby eateries, grocery and bakeries. It truly felt like a home away from home.
