MILLION DOLLAR DOUBLE WIDE!!!
About this house rental
Ok, (not really).... when we were looking to buy, this place was listed for $110,000,000 (which was a typo) and the place was a DUMP!!! While under construction, we referred to it as the "million dollar double wide" and the name stuck, just didn't seem right to call it anything else. The house has been COMPLETELY remodeled from top to bottom. New Bathrooms, New bedrooms, New Kitchen, New exterior....... List goes on and on. We really feel like we have spent a million bucks on it. Located in the heart of the village, Its a short walk or bike ride to all the restaurants and shops. Bike rental is across the street, coffee shop is 3 blocks away. Golf cart rentals are available in several locations on the island. There is a huge covered porch with a walkway to it. Out back we have an outdoor shower with a walkway to the porch. The house has a master bedroom, with a queen size bed, and master bathroom with a shower. Bedroom number 2, has a FULL(double) size bunk bed set. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Bedroom number 3, has a queen size bed. Second bathroom has a full size bathtub. Smart TV's are in all bedrooms. This is the perfect setup for 2 families and 4 kids, or 4 couples. Fully functional Kitchen, with a large open concept great room, perfect for the entire family to be together. Basic kitchen condiments available (please replace if you empty), or bring your own. A Keurig coffee maker is available, but you must bring your own coffee. Also included is a washing machine and dryer.(supplies not included). Bath towels and bed sheets will not be provided. Bedspreads are on all beds. You must bring your OWN personal hygiene supplies.(soap,shampoo etc....) NO beach accessories will be provided. Check in days are: Saturdays 7 day minimun please contact us for more options UPON CHECKOUT!!! All dirty dishes must be left in the dishwasher, and the dishwasher MUST BE STARTED before you leave. This home was the perfect spot for our crew. We spent a long weekend on the island and had the best experience. The house was clean and setup perfectly to host a group or family. We were bummed the porch wasn’t screened in but still enjoyed our time out there. The backyard space was great & the outdoor shower was the cherry on top of the whole place. We definitely recommend staying here! A few OINC first timers in the group cannot wait to be back!

My first experience renting a VRBO. everything went as expected. House was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Would look at this as an option again in the future for a quick getaway.

We loved our stay! The interior is nicely appointed--everything you could need and in excellent shape. The beds were comfy, and the pillows were so comfortable that we are going to buy some for home! The location is nice and quiet and beautiful. We can't wait to come back.

Ocracoke Vacation
This house worked beautifully for us -- 4 adults and 2 children, aged 3 and 1 month. All amenities were excellent; house was clean and in great shape. Owner was very cooperative and helpful.
Only improvement would be to screen in the front porch, as mosquitoes can be fierce...

Island Relaxation
We had a wonderful time at this property! The house was very comfortable. The front porch was a nice option for gathering also the inside dining area. We bbq'd, visited, played games ate in some or out at local restaurants. It was easy to find out info on driving on the beach and where to go for local sights/activities.

Perfect and peaceful
We loved this house from the moment we entered it. It was spacious, clean and the beach decor was on point. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook just about anything. It was dark and quiet at night and the beds were super comfy.

A gem on Ocracoke!
We are so fortunate to have found this property! Plenty of room for our mixed group of five adults and four children (under the age of 10). Large porch was a bonus, and gave adults a space to enjoy after children were in bed. Everything was just a short drive away via golf cart. Ikey the car was a nice bonus too :) The property has been beautifully restored and is well cared for.

AMAZING STAY
My fiancé and I got married this weekend and we stayed here. The property was very clean, beautiful, and spacious. The front porch is awesome for hanging out, enjoying a cup of coffee, or even just a place to relax Linda was a great host and even let us check in early to enjoy our special day!
