Did not get any breakfast, the man was still asleep by 07:00, in order to catch out flight on time, we had to check out, we did not get a good response when we asked what the breakfast consisted of, instead we received an abrupt answer
No lift, was still under construction (which was not advertised on booking.com) thank goodness we were on the 3rd floor, which is still a good amount of stairs to climb up & down with cases

Location is good for centre of town and staff very friendly and helpful. Bedding and towels very clean and air con and tv in room along with a fridge.
Very dated hotel, cold water for shower, lift being installed which meant 3 flights of stairs and very noisy and disruptive in daytime. Having said that they did take my bag up for me.
Cereal was stale but lady opened new box for me. This hotel is very close to the docking for the cruise ships and is therefore very busy with people when the ships dock.

Location
no elevator, the appearance of the property is deplorable.

spacious room (had only city view, but that was ok, because I just needed to sleep). The harbour was visible from the breakfast room on 4th floor. No lift available, but looks like a new one is being installed.
each room is supposed to have Wifi, but mine did never show up on the list. Others used an outdated security system and weak signal. The open House Wifi worked intermittently. The shower had no warm water. Noisy fridge in the room.

Very good ... service was good
no elevator ... no water ... we got a refund and left the hotel. The hotel needs a complete overhaul ... run down, falling apart ... we had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to our room every day ... we were greatly misled by their website.

The front desk staff and housekeeping did their job and try to be helpful at all times. The Security girl was very helpful at all time.
This was our first visit to Antigua. The internet was horrible, and we had to be constantly calling, we were checking out on Tuesday 4 and my internet was turned off on Monday since they had the incorrect check out date. The breakfast staff had a nasty attitude, which made the experience very unpleasant. Breakfast was the same every day (Eggs - boiled, scrambled or omlette; French toast/toast/pancake; ham/turkey/cheese; fruit juice; coffee or tea), we were required to fill out a slip every day for the next day and they still ask you next day what you are having. One of the staff (picture posted) got our order wrong bringing pork sausage (while she had the forms looking at it and confirming the order), when I specially stated every day no pork or shellfish, after that they offer us no juice and she engaged in a staring match with me for mentioning it, she then started playing hymns and singing loudly. I was upset because my husband is allergic. every staff after that came with a nasty attitude when serving our family so I know she told them what happened. I refused to tip her at the end of my stay.
The stairs case needs cleaning, and the balcony should be cleaned when the room is assigned it to someone. The elevator does not work, and we were on the 3rd Floor, it was not easy going up and down the stairs, that should have been disclosed before. My sister has a bad knee. Be the judge from the pics.

The complimentary breakfast was okay. The customer service from the staff was pretty good.
The hotel is under renovations and the elevator was being worked on, which makes it difficult to go up and down.
