Beautifully decorated, characterful house in the centre of the old town's maze of narrow pathways in a secluded courtyard. The house is very well equipped with good quality kitchen stuff and a modern washing machine. The beds were very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Parking was straightforward a short walk away from the house. Good restaurants and well stocked small food shops and bakeries are nearby. We loved it.

One bedroom hasn't got air conditioning, only a fan, which the owner explained was due to the technical challenge of fitting the unit, and it was unusually hot during our stay. But the air conditioning in the rest of the house was very efficient and we were very comfortable.

Nice historic stone house, located in the old city. The interior is renovated and modernized. Each floor has its own AC. The beds are comfortable. Top floor is open space - my youngest daughter was short enough not to be bothered by the slopped roof and she loved her space up there. The kitchen has everything you need. A nice, unexpected, plus was seeing the basic condiments - there was no oil but it seemed like that was more of an oversight than a plan.

It's located super close to restaurants but far enough that you don't get the noise., However, it is in a pedestrian zone, so you can't get to the house with a car. The owner has a card for public parking that's some 300m away. There was always space in the parking lot (we were there in the high season), but getting all our stuff from the car to the house was not easy. The owner was nice to offer us help with our suitcases in the first run from the car to the house. Also, the "streets" in the pedestrian zone are very narrow and confusing. It's literally like a labyrinth and Google Maps doesn't help cause the streets are so narrow they don't register as streets for Maps. We laughed about how many times we ran into dead ends. The neighbors are also super close - each time we left the house he had to walk in between members of the family staying in the house next to us. Seems like the "garden", we had to walk through, was for their use, and they were in it constantly. The most important feedback - if you're coming with a pet, maybe don't pick this place. The owner has it listed as pet friendly and when we reached out to ask if it's ok for us to bring our two cats, they said it was ok. Informed us that there is a fee of 5 eur/cat/day. We accepted the fee and confirmed we're coming with our cats. Upon our arrival the owner didn't really look pleased to see us, was polite but chilly. In the house, after showing us around, we were told that our cats should not sleep on beds, sofas or carpets. After I asked where is it then ok for them to sleep,, the owner suggested they sleep in their carriers. I told the owner that that is not an option. They have then asked, almost surprised, if the cats have their own cat breeds. Anyone who's ever had a cat will know how "fun" this conversation was...At any rate, it turns out the owner was worried about the hair the cats would leave behind.

What a charming spot and a wonderful location- beware google maps because it won’t get you there! We loved Cres and our stay was great- parking worked well, also.

For anyone with limited mobility, there are a lot of steps both to get into the house and also to the bedrooms, this can be a challenge.

Lovely host . Great location in Cres . Close to beaches, restaurants, sea wall. Beautifully remodelled old heritage house .

Would liked to have had more balcony space on the main floor.

quiet in the City Center

This is a beautiful house in a perfect location, nestled in a network of narrow pedestrianised streets and a very short stroll from the restaurants, bars, harbour and beaches of Cres. Parking was arranged (included in price) just a short walk away. Spela was very helpful and friendly, with good recommendations for places to eat and activities. We had a fabulous stay in Cres and will definitely be back for longer next time.

Air con in the third bedroom would be a bonus.

Everything went well! We booked the apartment in the afternoon for the following night and everything went fluently. The house was old and gorgeous, clean and quiet in three floors. The friendly owner is living downstairs and therefore easily reachable. I would stay here again! Free parking in walking distance, not straight in front of the house because the house is located in old town.
