WIFI, large bedroom, free bus travel, people friendly.
Too noisy, people walking, snoring, talking all night. Just one and unclean toilet for everyone in the house, no water in the bedroom, smoking. the house should have a cleaner, especially for toilet and kitchen.

I was looking for an inexpensive room with a kitchen. Well, I found it: just not expensive with a well equipped kitchen.
It's 3 km far from all kinds of stations.
This is a guest house with 8 rooms and 2 bathrooms/toilets. Some people live there for one year, others stay just for a night or two. So, obviously, you have a queue in the morning and in the evening.
No towels, no shower gel or shampoo, no soap to clean your hands after the toilet, no hairdryer. The coffee machine was broken.

The room was very good for such a low price
Too much noise, people coming and going at any hour, cooking at midnight with the noise and smell that goes with it. We could not sleep much.
The pin that booking gave us was incorrect.

Very nice old house with loverly atmosphere. I loved the garden and facilities

The hotel is well located, close to the centre and close to the beach. There is also a bakery and a supermarket nearby. There are tight shutters on the windows. There is coffee, tea, salt and sugar in the kitchen. There are all the necessary appliances. Very clean, you can feel that the owner takes care of the house. The rooms are nice with old furniture, some have fireplaces.
The worst thing about this house is that there is one toilet for eight rooms! What's more, this one toilet is combined with a shower. If someone takes a shower, you can't use the toilet(((( if the owner wanted to solve this problem, it would improve conditions a lot. The cushions are bad, there is no noise insulation

The owner/manager was super friendly and extremely helpful. Picked up the phone straight away when I called. Spoke excellent English and was totally solution focused. It was a fully equipped house with excellent kitchen facilities and a nice garden. You could eat inside or outside. Very clean.
Very poor sound proofing, heard everyone going up and down the stairs, in the garden chatting, eating, phoning and smoking and every word shouted by the young child from their late bedtime to their early rise and their parents (not telling them to stfu!). My room had two big windows onto the garden and privacy without the shutters down. The showers and toilets were shared and upstairs. I didn't use either; went out for WC, waited for to shower

The entry into the house was very well organized. The rooms were impressive with their massive mirros. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked to make it a great stay for people on a budget.
The shared bathrooms made it a little hard to coordinate with the other guests.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfy.
We were not sent any info beforehand on how to do the check-in (not even the info that it was self check-in). We had to contact the person in charge when we were standing in front of a closed door. We received no apologies for the inconvenience. No towels were left in our rooms. Once again we had to contact someone and were instructed to go and fetch them ourselves in the damp cellar. Also here, no apologies for the inconvenience. The bathroom and rooms were clean but a little messy, the shampoos in the shower were all empty. Overall we did not feel like the owner cared for his customers.

Brilliant breakfast and extremely clean rooms. We were a bit late and still welcomed with open arms. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

it was ok, and for the price I didn't expect more
Was hard to organise my arrival with the owner. In fact nobody was there to Wellcome me. Another tenant showed me the room

No one to welcome and check us in. No room assigned, other guests opened us the door and showed us some available rooms. We took one and a madame (maybe the cleaning lady) waked us up screaming in the morning because apparently that Room was not for us.. How coukd WE know?!

Shared bathroom was very good. Also has shared kitchen.
The proprietor I'd spoken to on phone was out (admittedly I was late arriving) and no one appeared to be expecting me. Took a few minutes before they would even let me in.
Wooden floors and stairs makes this house very noisy if others are moving around at night.

It's like boarding house. A wee bit of Auberge Espanol feeling. Since we arrived late (and forgot to give an arrival time at all), we were given a code which worked fine. Haven't met the staff but communication was no problem. We used the kitchen in the morning. Really good value for money. Really clean considering the place was a fully booked boarding / guest house.
The silicone in the showers shows a bit discolouring.(Whereas the showers and the bathrooms themselves are sensibly renovated and clean.)

Got upgraded to a quiet room on the top floor facing away from the road, because some people, who didn't like stairs, came at the same time as me. Friendly and relaxed host.
In fact about 35 minutes' walk from the train station. The 16 minutes in the description must be to the beach.

The place was perfect for us two, nice size of the bedroom and bathroom. Huge shared kitchen with space for cooking and separate dinning area. The owner was very welcoming, helpful and super kind. When in France again, will definitely be happy to stay here again!

excellent location very close to the public transport and the beach
quality time spent with other people in the shared kitchen space
very well equipped kitchen
host was really nice and easy going, always there to help and provide good tips of what to visit nearby - we followed the advice and went to Nausicaa in Boulogne sur Mer, it was an unforgettable experience highly recommended!
a bathroom at ground floor would be helpful
sometimes mosquitos can be present, be sure to get tools and repellants to have a relaxing sleep

Good place and a good price, very convenient to go to the seaside, I like the window inside the room. the little yard is beautiful.
A little noisy from other customers even at midnight, and the bedsheet is not soft, not clean enough. But I think it is the best choice at this price.

The setting of the room is really nice . I had an impression that i was sleeping in a museum

Hard to find - I was expecting something more obvious than a tiny plaque by the door. The doorbell took a long time to be answered. Inside, there was a strong smell of a tomcat.
No towels were provided. No information about what was available in the way of breakfast. We didn't see any staff after checking in.
