Communications with Pedro & Susanne before arrival were helpful, and Pedro’s welcome was warm. The property is clean and bright with a comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. The apartment has two decks, both of which have beautiful views. The location is perfect, close to everything you will want to see and do in Cádiz. The stairs are not for the faint of heart; a long walk up from the street and another steep staircase in the apartment. This is common in Cádiz, we learned, but people should be prepared.

Absolutely loved my stay! The inside was cute and very functional, but the star of the show was definitely the views! Looking down out over the square with the old clock tower and church from my bedroom and from the private terrace were definitely a highlight of my trip to Spain, and the upper terrace has amazing views over the whole city. The owner doesn't speak much English but was super sweet and helpful, between his little bit of English and my tiny bit of Spanish we did ok! Would stay again in a heartbeat

Great experience from booking to vacating this property on our first visit to Cadiz. Pedro contacted us before our stay to arrange to meet. We were severely delayed during our journey and Pedro was really kind and helpful. The location of the property wad perfect for us, being close to places of interest and restaurants but Cadiz is so compact, we were never too far away from anywhere we wanted to go. Property itself was lovely, old and perfect for 2. All the basics to cook if you want to, but we didn't. The lower terrace is amazing and well-equipped. We had siestas and also sat out later in the evening before bed. The upper terrace has fabulous views of the whole of Cadiz! There are lots of steps to get to yhe apartment and steep staircases inside but we were aware and the terrace/views are well worth the effort. To finish with a big thank-you to Pedro who treated us with warmth and respect. We will return and highly recommend this host and property.

Apartment was very clean and well kept. Great location and the big rooftop deck was a private oasis. From the train station it was a 10 min walk. The hosts were attentive and we recommend staying here.

When we booked to stay here we had no idea that the stay would happen in the last week of Carnaval. It was amazing
We were met by the host, Pedro who explained the apartment and, despite us have very little Spanish and he having little English he managed to give some history of the both the apartment and Cadiz.
Cadiz itself is beautiful were only there for 2 nights and spent a lot of the time there just walking around and saoaking up the feel of the place. At night we had live entertainment in the Plaza downstairs from the apartment and plenty of other stuff in Plazas around the old city. A totally magical experience and we will definitely be returning if/when we get back to Spain, hopefully for the full Carnaval.

All contacts with the owners went really smoothly. At the check-in we were met in person by Luisa and she explained everything about the apartment for us which was really nice. The apartment is basic but the terraces are fabulous and the location as well. We had such a great time staying here in Cadiz!

Brilliant stay in the heart of the city, the rooftop terrace makes it. looking down at the goings on in the square below, we even got serenaded by a busker one night. Magic!

We would fully recommend this apartment for active people but the climb to the 4th floor, and then one more flight up to the bedroom, may be a little too strenuous for others. Fabulous historic apartment!
This was one of our favorite accommodations of our time in Spain! Uniquely historic and architectural apartment with beautiful views and an amazing terrace. Great central location with kind and communicative hosts who gave excellent local recommendations! Very comfortable bed. Der Ausblick über die Dächer von Cadiz ist phänomenal, einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Man könnte seinen kompletten Urlaub auf den Terassen verbringen.
Die Verständigung mit den charmanten Vermietern war sehr angenehm. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit dieses zauberhafte Apartment wieder buchen. Dankeschön.

The location of the apartment is excellent overlooking a busy plaza and easy walking to all the key sites and very many bars and restaurants. It's a 10 minute flat walk from the bus and train station.
The owner is very easy to deal with, met us promptly and gave us some good information.
The apartment is on the 4th floor and has no lift, so carrying heavy suitcases is a struggle! However, once you're there, you're treated to fantastic views from 2 terraces. The 1st terrace is accessed straight from the lounge and it is large! There are sun loungers in a lovely sheltered spot and dining table for Al fresco eats and drinks! The 2nd terrace is accessed via stairs from the bedroom and takes you into one of the original look out towers! The views are even more magnificent over the roof tops to the sea!
The apartment is characterful, with creaky stairs and wooden beams! It has most things you need to self cater, but there's no oven or dishwasher or kettle! The bed was very comfy and we both slept well.
Hopefully we'll be back!

Fantastic apartment !
This small ,charming apartment in the heart of old Cadiz is a wonderful place to stay . It has everything that you may require for a comfortable stay . The surrounding area is also perfect . The square is very lively . It is close to the train station so a day trip to Jerez is easy & recommended . The 2 terraces are a great asset . Susana & Pedro were great hosts and left some beer and treats which was very thoughtful . We had a great holiday and will definitely be back .

Enjoyed our stay in this unusual (for us) building, so full of history with its tower and wonderful terrace. We stayed for 2 weeks and found plenty to do. The apartment was clean and was as advertised with all essential amenities. It was very central and the plaza below very busy. We watched a flamenco dancer and were serenaded by guitar and clarinet players in the square. We also watched a religious procession and band which visited the church in the plaza. Lots of places to eat, lots of shops and several museums nearby. Very safe beach is about 20 minutes walk away.

Basic but good
The 74 stairs to the front door are a challenge, then there are more stairs up to the bedroom and even more stairs to the top terrace. Cooking facilities are very basic: 2-burner cooktop, no oven, no dishwasher. But the main terrace is vast, with a beautiful view, and that makes up for any shortcomings elsewhere.

Wonderful apartment, wonderful town
Susana and Pedro were great hosts, although we already knew a bit about Cadiz so we never needed to bother them about anything, and everything in the apartment was perfect. As can be seen in the photos, the place boasts a spectacular view and is situated in a great location. The terrace is enormous and one never gets bored admiring the view or people watching. I highly recommend the apartment and the city of Cadiz, you won't want to leave! Hasta luego Cadiz!

Great apartment!
The apartment is located in a beautiful house at the lovely little square. The apartment is a part of a characteristic for the city of Cadiz tower with two huge terraces. The view from the terraces is a wonderful - you can see city, sea, ships, picturesque roofs of the nearby church. Clean, air conditioned, nicely decorated with taste and atmosphere. In the apartment you have all you need. The owners also provide snacks, cold water and beer on arrival. The owners are extremely nice and very helpful. I would recommend a stay there, we spent a wonderful time!

Lovely little apartment with an enormous roof terrace
This apartment might be small and up 4 flights of stairs but it is really well located being in the heart of things in the old town and only 10 minutes walk from the small but pretty beach. Susana and Pedro were helpful, warm and welcoming and the apartment was immaculate with a welcome pack which was a nice touch. Their are two terraces one of gigantic proportions which had great views and from which you can hear the bustle of San Francisco plaza. If we were ever back in Cadiz we would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous experience
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique accommodation in Cadiz !
Susana was always very prompt and helpful with any questions we had prior to arrival.
We were greeted by her husband Pedro who was just the loveliest man who drove with us to show us where to park and then helped us with luggage back.
It is a very unique apt on 3 levels. It is a walk up but well worth it ! The terraza off the first floor is absolutely huge with table, chairs, umbrella as well as comfortable lounges. You are close to a bell tower but found the chiming (between 9am - 10pm) to be a plus in the experience not a minus.
The comfy bed is on the second level and then on the third is another deck from which you can see the water more.
It is in a great location overlooking a square offering lots of people watching and restaurant options. Noise was never an issue to our sleeping experience.
You can walk to just about everything.
We would definitely stay there again and would recommend to everyone unless there were mobility issues.
