Ухоженная территория, красивые виды, близость к вулкану Батур (тропа на верх начинается сразу за отелем) . Очень понравилась жаренная рыба карась ! Рекомендую)

Perfect location for hiking up Batur, great view and friendly staff.

Great view from the pool. Facilities were basic but it is a small hotel on the slopes of Batur. Great location as it is the beginning of the trail to hike up Mt. Batur.

Kintamani area has a serious fly prpblem. There were flies everywhere and they will get into the room and on the bed and everywhere. But they are gone once the temperature dips at night.

Tranquilidad, pero no merece la pena subir a Batur

Lugar tranquilo para descansar / hacer la excursión a Batur. El personal podía llevarte y traerte al pueblo, ya que el hotel está alejado.

La excursión en jeep del monte Batur fue decepcionante. Las comidas ofrecidas por el hotel eran muy simples y repetitivas… Muchas moscas, pero entendible por la ubicación del hotel.

The road to the hotel is a bit off road, but as I saw- typical for this location The food wasn’t good- but you can find some restaurants near the lake

Stunning view over Lake Batur, Easy Access on Mt Batur, absolutly friendly and reliable staff!!! Perfect shuttle to lake, hot springs. Gorgeous, spacious rooms, nice restaurant

Beautiful views, room was clean and spacious. Kadek was very helpful with drop off and pick up and very friendly

No alcoholic drinks for women. Ok for some, but not Aussies. A little further from the lake than photos show

Best place to stay near mount Batur, you can climb up stright from hotel, but you dont need to do so, because view to lake at sunrise is wonderful...

Staff are lovely. View is very good. Food reasonably priced. Rooms are big.

1. No hot water most of the day. 2. Road going in very bad, you have to be picked up to get down to the main road a fair way away and sit in the tray of a ute if there is more than 1 of you. 3. Stairs uneven... no rails. 4. The food price is reasonable but not very tasty. 5. The shower base just rocks nowhere flat to stand. 6. Dining table and chairs uncomfortable. 7. Power points are difficult to access.

Beautiful location at the base of Mt Batur. The staff could not have been friendlier and our guide for the hike was fab! Pool is a lovely feature and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean.

Unlikely it can be helped but the electric frequently went off - we did have help each time very quickly to sort it. The flies! Property can't help and they had sprays but they're a menace!

Exceptional

Great location if you are interested in hiking mt batur, with an excellent view over lake batur. The staff made the experience for me and my partner, very friendly and kind. A special thank you to Kadek who works at the accomodation and guided us up mt Batur, he is the most friendly guide and makes the experience even better than we expected, we can’t recommend him enough if your looking for a hiking guide.

best place to stay for batur trekking

the place is really nice, just at the bottom of batur mountain. the rooms are spacious, super clean and bright. and the team is just amazing especially Kadek. the food is local and tasty. We booked also the trekking with the property. it was my second stay there and I will come back

loved this spot. perfect mountain get away!

the staff at this location are AMAZING. wayan and Kadek and the others made my stay so enjoyable. i traveled solo and felt so safe here. i also have a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate for me too. the hike up batur was 10/10. you walk out and start right from the property. the Pool is lovely. the rooms big and beautiful views. i extended my stay. they arrange drivers and are overall amazing. i HIGHLY recommend this place. shower was hot and water pressure good!

yes there are some flies outside but it’s not bad. the wifi in my room was decent but not great. in shared spaces it was great. manage your expectations on speed. it’s a mountain vibe and very laid back… I encourage you to slowwww down here.

Perfect stay before hike

Perfect location if you plan the hike. It was only me going from the place in the morning for the hike and Wayang, who also works there lead me to the top of Batur. All staff very helpful, very quiet location, very clean accommodation.

I can’t say one bad thing about it.

Kadek was amazing. He was very attentive and helpful to our needs. He was also our guide for trekking the summit of mount bartur and he did a great job taking care of my mother and helping her get to the top. 5 stars for his service, attentiveness, and always making him self available to our needs. the views from the hotel were breathtaking. the beds were very clean and comfortable. ac worked very well. everything about this place was amazing.

Clean, fresh, big space. We stay here to have Batur hiking without guide, the track starts from the hotel, use maps.me for navigation, ticket in the middle of track 100k/pax.

Idea for Batur Trek & extremely quiet

stayed one night for Mount Batur trek, which we organised with the staff who are extremely friendly always smiling. Rooms were nice and VERY quiet & secluded location in the mountain

no shops near by so stock up on snacks etc as trek leaves straight from hotel. No ideal snacks to purchase on site. just a lunch time & dinner menu.

Little oasis under a volcano 🌋

The staff were amazing. Komqng was an exceptional tour guide for our hike up the mountain. Pool and rooms amazing!

The road from the lake front to accommodation was a bit sketchy. We made it up in a SUV and scooters made it up but not sure how a small hatch back would go.

the hike up the mountain with Kadek was a great adventure, we made it up in an hour and instead of going down the normal

Not for us

View is out of this world and literally a step out of the door to get on the trek path up the volcano. Highly recommend doing this. Staff were also wonderful and helpful whenever we needed them. Smiling all the time and trying to give us a good experience despite the drawbacks we had.

I'm sure some people would love this place but can only review on our experience. First room we were put in was unclean, stains on the sheets, a bathroom door that wouldn't open without force, no hot water in the shower and a huge amount of ants getting in through the grate. Second room had stains on the bedding but was nicer overall. Stones in the shower are really uncomfortable though and surely unhygienic. Location is great for the trek but nothing much in the town once you go down there. We cut our stay short.

Well, the location is nice, if you are for hiking. And it is the best mountain REFUGE I’ve seen. + the mattress is super good.

Everything else can be described by: the worst hotel/guest house in Bali. It is NOT a hotel. It is a REFUGE. - the bathroom floor hasn’t been cleaned after previous guests. Pieces of smeared fruit were left on the floor. - the toilet seat hasn’t been lifted by the last male guest, an was not cleaned by the staff - the water treatment system is not working. Water has a bad smell and taste, even on your lips. - huge room, zero design - no table to do some work - Wi-Fi loses - the management team tends to cheat with services. They write you, dear sir, we provide guides at affordable prices. But the price is fixed: 400k. For 375k there is a whole day tour from Ubud with many extras. So, if they tell at once about their prices, I could arrange everything beforehand. - the road is super bad.

Worth the trip, stay an extra day!

Fantastic location and very helpful friendly staff, wonderful views and an ideal location to set out for the sunrise hike. I would recommend staying an extra night to recuperate from the trip up the mountain from Ubud or Kuta, and especially if you are hiking. Take the time to appreciate the peace, quiet and view.
