We enjoyed the neighbors, the beach and proximity to everything. Most of all the town of Fernandia was so very special. Yes, the food was fabulous, the shops also very upscale. Dog friendly, an understatement!

Great beech access. Easy walk to the beech especially with the beech wagon that was provided. Property was very dated and could use an overall clean and upgrade. Enjoyed our stay.

The property was a quick walk to the beach and in a quiet friendly neighborhood. Owners are great and respond quickly. Did not realize this was a duplex until check in, but there were no issues at all. We would definitely stay again.

Extremely old and worn out place. One full bathroom in a house. Imagine 6 adults getting ready to go to the wedding with one bathroom, tiny ironing board, and a cheap iron that boils water, drips, and burns feet. Shall I say more? Searched the whole house and found no garbage bags, oil to fry an egg, or shampoo. Super overpriced. Fan in the bathroom was like a tractor working next door with condensate dripping from the ceiling vent. Disappointed!

My husband and I stayed a month at this wonderful duplex. Anna and Jim couldn’t have been more gracious hosts even providing a Roku stick when we asked about streaming. The house is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you might need. The bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas were so nice to have on hand. We especially loved the beach, but also enjoyed visiting Fernandina, the Saturday farmer’s market, the old town, Fort Clinch and the other State Parks. Every morning we took a bike ride down to either Crane Island or Egan’s Creek Greenway. Magical! Thank you Jim and Anna for sharing this treasure with us.

This property was amazing and actually went past my expectations. The house was very clean and neat, and beds were very comfy. Sofa in the living room was nice as well. Very great location, only a few minutes to walk to the beach or to bars/restaurants/gift shops. Definitely recommend 100%

Relaxing and Comfortable Get-A-Way

We were very comfortable here. We were only a block away from the ocean and it was an easy walk to get there. We took folding chairs, towels, and snacks and spent many relaxing days on the beach walking along the shore and collecting shells. Our hosts, who are VERY nice, provided everything we needed! There are wonderful restaurants in the area. We really liked Sliders: the seafood chowder is terrific. We also enjoyed eating at the Surf Restaurant and The Salty Pelican in the downtown area. We could not have had a better time!

Perfect house and location

We have family that lives down the street so we already knew what a nice area this was. And this house was perfect for the 5 of us. Not even a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were so happy there was a wagon to use too! It's the little things! Having a queen bed and two singles in the second bedroom was awesome. Everyone had their own bed and plenty of room. Everything was clean and felt welcoming, like staying at a friends home. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Everything was so convenient to have such as bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, grill, and a great kitchen with all the cooking ware needed. We would highly recommend this property to relax at the beach!

Nice place, very quiet and peaceful. You are only a five minute walk to the beach, and it is a great beach! You're also minutes away driving to many restaurants, supermarkets, and shopping centers. The neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. We had everything we needed and more. Great Wi-Fi too!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for a long weekend. We LOVE to travel, explore, adventure and take quick (and simple) getaways.This home offered us the convenience of being centrally located to all the things we love about Amelia Island while enjoying the comfort of a well-appointed and styled home. We thoroughly enjoyed having the beach chairs and cruisers to use. It saved us from packing our own which made the trip a little easier. The outdoor shower was a HUGE plus especially after spending a few hours at the beach or riding the bikes in the heat! While we tend to unplug when we get away, Anna was the perfect hostess. She greeted us via text before and after arrival, then checked in on what needs we may have. She gave recommendations for food and entertainment and was available as needed but not intrusive. I felt like I was staying at a friend's place! This home is beautifully decorated, spacious and cozy!

Great location and amenities!

Loved the convenience of having all necessary beach supplies provided by with our accommodations! The beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and wagon made getting to and from the beach quick and easy! (The wagon was the envy of the beach, too!) Beach cruisers were also very nice - have ridden other cruiser bikes that were heavy and cumbersome - these were very light weight and well maintained. We enjoyed riding these along the green ways, to DeNucci's for ice cream, and to Hammerhead Beach Bar. So glad we chose to stay here for the location and amenities! You can't go wrong with this property!

This place was perfect! I can’t think of anything I would change! 6 of us ladies went for a women’s retreat. We had a wonderful weekend, I can’t think of anything I would change. The owner checked to make sure we got there and made sure we were gone before sending the cleaning service. Very clean, close to the beach, perfect for 6 ppl, bikes, chairs, beds were awesome! I highly recommend!
