Really nice hotel and location

The facilities were clean and modern. Pretty easy to get into the hotel.

For two tall guys it was a bit hard in such a small room, but that's part of the deal, it's a pocket hotel. Showers downstairs was a bit annoying.

Gutes Hotel für Sightseeing

Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel war an sich sehr sauber. Die Waschräume waren für Gemeinschaftsräume sehr sauber.

Ich war zur Kirschblütenzeit da und wahrscheinlich liegt es auch mit daran - aber ich fand das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich angemessen. Ich habe 95 Euro die Nacht bezahlt, für einen Raum so groß wie das Bett. Es ist zwar alles nett gemacht, aber ich habe mich ein bisschen eingesperrt gefühlt. Für Menschen mit Platzangst nicht geeignet.

Location

Severe lack of hanging in the rooms. Plenty of wall space to put more robe hooks. Other patrons noisy until 3:30 am! The hotel staff do nothing about it. Bed very hard. Washing machines are located in the shower area and the showers are separated into male and female. So this means that husband can’t put the washing on and wife empty it later. Also, shower area is right next to the check in counter which means patrons are constantly walking past the check in with towels etc. Poor layout, poor design, terrible quality of other patrons. I’ll never stay here again.

A pleasant stay near kyoto

The pocket hotel kyoto is really clean and comfy. It is near the shopping district, bus station, and hankyu railway station. We realy like how the shower and laundry area is spacious and comfortable. Will definitely comeback and recommend it to my friends.

Ideal for cost, perfect for short trips.

Great for cost, ideal location and very clean facilities.

Sharing a bathroom is not for everyone, but they were clean and easy to use.

The bed had been changed and the pillow wasn't very supportive - I think two pillows would've been better.

房間乾淨、網路穩定、插座有三個外加一個USB-A孔，很方便淋浴間、廁所、電梯 (從一樓)等都需要刷門禁卡，即便是女性獨行也安全消耗品多半都有，唯獨刮鬍刀我找不到

覺得淋浴間本身有點小，動作大一點會敲到牆

Accessibility in the heart of Kyoto

The property was very close to Nishiki Market and has a train exit, bus stops, Starbucks, Family Mart, and Ichiran nearby. They also have comprehensive tourist maps they personally curated in different languages which was a great help in exploring Kyoto destinations. The common area was colorful but also relaxing and had adequate tables and seating areas.

Shower room was on the ground floor beside the concierge which I don’t really mind but may be a consideration for some.

Economical, easy and comfortable

The location is very convenient, close to a major subway station, shopping market street and Gion district. Rooms are compact and tidy but very comfortable, and the communal bathroom space is kept clean and has hairdryers. Price is great, I stayed with my sister in a bunk room and each bed had a shelf, privacy curtain, dimmable lights and a charger so it was very easy and comfortable.

You do have to pay extra if you would like a daily cleaning service, but fresh towels are available each day free of charge. If you're staying on a higher floor, you do have to come down to the first floor to use a kettle or microwave but it's no hardship.

Muy buena ubicación y relación calidad-precio si se está dispuesto a resignar espacios individuales

Excelente ubicación en Kioto, muy cerca de Gion y con gran connectividad de transporte. Limpio y moderno. Las instalaciones compartidas son muy buenas. Económico.

La habitación doble individual en literas es mejor que la que tienes cama doble, tienes mejor manejo del espacio.

I really spent a nice sleep and time. I felt secure and cared as a woman who travel for the first time outside her homet

This hotel was the best option I could ever make to stay in Kyoto!!! Very cleaned, organized and with rooms that really look and feel like the pictures shows, very confortable. Very close to the main shops and restaurants of the main city.

Nothing to say about it.

Awesome location walkable to touristy areas!

The location is great- walkable distance to a lot of the tourist areas without feeling like it's in the center of busy streets. There were numerous amenities available in the hotel and we really liked the hangout area in the lobby. There is also a Yamato Transport shipping store right outside if you prefer to ship your luggage which was very convenient since the hostel doesn't ship luggage out (they only receive them).

My friend and I each booked a bunk bed room and if I had shared one with my friend, the space would have been pretty limited for our things. I also felt like the shower rooms being in the ground floor/lobby was a bit inconvenient (and I honestly didn't like going back up to my room all clean and showered in the general public elevator lol). I also felt that the bathrooms, especially the shower stalls, could have been cleaner. (Also, I remember the ground floor/lobby being very warm for some reason... but maybe just due to the flurry of activity in the lobby)

Gran alojamiento.

Es un hotel muy cómodo y bien situado. Pensé que los baños compartidos serían un problema, pero están muy limpios, la zona de las duchas es muy cómoda, con mucha privacidad y en ningún momento te sientes" avergonzado" o con prisas o incomodidad. La zona es genial y justo al lado tiene una mensajería por si necesitas enviar tus maletas a otro hotel como hicimos nosotros. Tiene un hall con una zona común para descansar o comer , que la verdad es que es muy guay. Perfecto para moverte por la ciudad a pie y estás cerca de todo. Sin duda volvería a repetir.

Bon logement

l'hôtel est à 10min en métro de la gare de Kyoto est proche du Nishiki market. Les salles communes (accueil, douche...) sont très propre et lumineux. La chambre est assez confortable et correspond à la description.

L'isolation est assez moyenne (même si le lieu reste assez silencieux) et comme prévu la chambre très petite. il faut donc bien organiser sa valise pour ne pas s'éparpiller.

Clean space and friendly staff

We enjoyed our stay. The shared bathrooms were very clean and very spacious. Very central location with good access to shopping, convenience stores etc

The room was very narrow as we had 2 large suitcases, so this took a bit of shifting around, but we made it work.

Wonderful location. Nice and simple stay.

The breakfast was a lovely treat to start the day.

The complimentary slippers were exceptionally flimsy and I kept almost tripping.

Amazing location and good budget option

Location is absolutely amazing. The facilities are clean, you even get pyjamas to wear, and bunk beds are actually super comfy and spacious, with plenty of 'privacy' through curtains. and: we could open the window to let in some fresh air. Big plus in Japan! Convenience stores are right around the corner too, and there's a tiny kitchen area to use.

To us it seemed a bit odd that there are check-in machines AND personell. I could also imagine that the machines are not very accessible for everybody in terms of technical skills.

Good facilities, poor breakfast

Great location, very small room, but perfectly functional as long as you don't have large luggage. The woman's bathroom on my floor was always crowded, however the shower facilities on the floor were clean and not overcrowded. Not an especially social hotel.

The "included breakfast" is at Doutor a block away and selections are EXTREMELY limited. You can get a coffee and a ham or tuna sandwich. No vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free option and no tea/juice/milk available as a drink option. I wish they'd made clearer that the breakfast was so limited when I booked.

Overall good stay

The property is exactly like the picture. Facilities provided are above our expectation. Toilets and shower rooms are very clean. The main area is spacious and they provided all kinds of maps & informations for kyoto attractions. Nishiki market is just a 100m walk to the right of the hotel. Train station and the stores like starbucks, daiso all are just around the corner.

The air conditioner in our room smelled really bad that we had to turn it off all throughout our stay and open the window instead. Would recommend the hotel to deep clean the air conditioner once in a while lol.

La ubicación, está justo en el centro de lo más importante a ver. Te prestan pijama y toallas, y te regalan cepillo de dientes. El agua de la llave es potable. Pudimos dejar nuestras maletas en consigna sin problema

What a locale

Absolument parfait!

L'établissement et les chambres étaient vraiment très propre. Le personnel était vraiment très sympathique et cordial. Sèches cheveux, shampooings, savons, mouchoirs, coton-tige, brosse à dent et dentifrice, serviettes et tapis de bain, tout y est. Il y a même du désinfectant/alcool pour les douches et les toilettes. Il y a des pyjamas en libre service. Nous n'avons pas pris les petits-déjeuner, il y a pleins de Starbucks et 7eleven à proximité. (littéralement à deux pas.) L'établissement possède un distributeur à boissons et à nourritures. L'établissement est très bien situé. Nous avons passé 9 nuits dans l'hôtel, je crois n'avoir jamais aussi bien vécu dans un établissement.
