This was a cute, old-school mountain cabin decorated with what appear to be items purchased at a yard sale. So, while not 'top-shelf' it certainly added to the charm/ambiance. Gas fireplace provided lots of heat!
Pots and pans felt a bit... worn. Lighting could be improved with addition of lamps, but that might require more outlets. But, these are minor issues. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Great location, close to National Park, restaurants, and supermarket. Very friendly staff. Small, but comfortable. Good amenities.
I guess it is the law of supply and demand, but we stayed at a four star resort in Breckenridge for more or less the same money.

Loved these rustic cabins. We had a great stay and loved the hot tub and the dog friendly environment. The cabin itself was quaint and very comfortable. Gail was also so nice and helpful. We look forward to going back!

Fully equipped kitchen, good WiFi and cable tv, comfortable living area & separate bedroom. Good blackout curtains. Very quiet.
Not enough light in living room & bedroom. Needs more electric outlets. Bring battery lights if you want to read in bed.

The Check-in went smooth, we called the owner in advance that we’re going to arrive late and it was no problem for her, she was very kind and helpful. Our cabin was quite lovely, it was spacious and clean, the fireplace was my favourite part of the room. I highly recommend this place!

A good location within easy walk of the town centre for shops and restaurant. Adequate facilities for self catering and lots of space for relaxing with two large sofas. Also, barbeque and fire pit for relaxing outside.

Location was nice
This is not “pet friendly” as advertised. We brought our two, extremely well-mannered, dogs along for our one night stay under the impression that this was a pet friendly property. We expected to pay an additional fee for pets, so that wasn’t an issue. However, after paying additional fees (per pet), the owner stated that pets “could not be left alone in the room for ANY amount of time” unless they were contained in metal crates. She then asked us to confirm if we brought some… We don’t even own crates as our dogs are older and very well behaved. This requirement is not communicated anywhere on the website, confirmation email, etc. prior to arrival, so we did not bring any. Since we didn’t have crates, we had to take our dogs to dinner and leave them in the car while we shoveled down our $300 dinner as quickly as humanly possible - after paying additional fees to be able to have them in the room. In addition, the rule book outlines more fees that will be charged if you allow your pets on the furniture, leave your pets alone, etc…. Extremely strict and unrealistic for a “pet friendly” room. Would make more sense to follow the standard and just charge a large fee if anything ends up damaged, dirty, etc. Also, I understand not having pets on the furniture, but this was just icing on the cake given the fact that nothing in the cabin had been updated since the 70s.
I also think it’s worth noting that the hot tub is not private- it’s one hot tub for the entire property.

Wonderful hostess, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, excellent hot water, great parking, wonderful location. I'm grateful that the hostess told me about the timed entry to Rocky Mountain National park. If you aren't aware of that please go on the website for the park. This can greatly affect your plans as you can't just drive into the national park when you want, the park staff are trying to limit traffic. Again thanks to the hostess of Columbine Cabins for alerting me to this.

The location was a little farther off of the main strip than others, but the value for the price was awesome! Gail was so friendly and helpful with everything and the amenities on site were great. There was a hot tub, a firepit, and outdoor grills to use on the property.
The cabin was small, but cozy. However, there were hardly any outlets, so we had to take turns charging devices. Also, the airflow through the cabin was not great, so we had multiple fans plugged in using the valuable outlet spaces.
