Location, location, location. You're not getting better than this. Quiet at night even when the town is heaving. A few minute walk to the harbour and everything it offers. Good size bedroom and lounge. Galley kitchen has everything you need. The outside courtyard isn't really that useable but it doesn't matter as there's plenty of outside space to enjoy int he town. There is no parking but there is plenty of free, public parking very nearby. I even found a great spot with security cameras on the car and only 200 metres from the apartment. Use What Three Words and head to ///fizzy.bland.credible for the best parking. Really worth walking to the Leffe Bar and catching the yellow ferry boat to Plage de Minimes. Only costs a couple of Euros but the beach is fantastic and your kids will love it. The actual ferry ride gives you a great view of the city too. There's a row of shops with an ice cream shop that sells the best Rum and Raisin I have had. Far better than the over popular ones in the main town

Nothing. It really was a perfect stay. We left the keys in the mail box when we left so that was easy.

We were met by charming Evelyne on behalf of the owner. She showed us around the apartment in detail & left her contact telephone. I left my purse behind & so met her again by arrangement on the departure afternoon . She was again kind & helpful. Great welcome & short stay in La ROchelle.
