About this cottage rental
A beautiful pavilion with its own private garden, summer house and entry situated on an 120 year old property. Surrounded by mature European trees this is an escape from the pressures of the city with magnificent valley views in all directions. The extra good news is that this property is also pet friendly and your dog is very welcome. For small dogs, up to two dogs are welcome. Though this is negotiable - so if you have two large dogs, please contact us to discuss. There is no extra charge for bringing your pet and they are allowed indoors at all times. Rest and Relaxation The only sounds you will hear are from birds in the property's gardens - blue wrens, magpies, western honey eaters and silver eyes just four of some 60 species. Occasionally in summer you will hear the sounds of stone fruit being transported to market from the magnificent orchard alongside. It feels like Provence or Tuscany! Stunning valley views Floor to ceiling windows look down to the Balingup Brook bridge - from another, a majestic hill and valley falls away to the orchard. The private bathroom big window looks out onto the summer house and secluded courtyard. As you take a bath you commune with nature. Bonnie the Labrador will want to visit you if you wish. She is highly socialised and loves to have another dog around for a play date.

A really beautiful place to stay, rolling hills, beautifully set up with everything including a full oven. Couldn't have been more delightful

Beautiful space, comfy bed and lovely spot. The place needed a good dust, the grout in the shower needed a good scrub and all the cobwebs inside removed. Apart from that a really nice stay. Appreciated the doggie fence.

Our host was most helpful & made us feel very welcome. The fact that we could take our dog was great, as not enough holiday accomadation is available for people travelling with the family pet. An area was made for her to sit in the sun & enjoy the garden. The decor in the cottage had a French flavour which was very interesting, it was all beautifully clean & the bed bed most comfortable. A great little cottage and our dog "Ollie" became part of the family with new friend "Bonnie". A cold day when we arrived but Gary had the heating going-nice touch.
Friendly hosts nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time with our little doggie Tina, who loved it too. The property was only 5 minutes drive from Balingup. It was just lovely to switch off and listen to the wildlife. Our doggie loved watching the rabbits! The property itself was clean and tidy with everything you need for your stay. Will definitely return for another stay.

This is our second stay at Brookvale House and once again we loved it. Gary and Louise are such welcoming hosts and make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Accommodation is lovely and very well done. We love the location, so tranquil with beautiful walks and views right on the doorstep. Also a great base to explore a little further. Our dog Aria had the best time, she was so excited to be there and loved running in the field out the front every morning. Thanks again Gary and Louise for a wonderful stay.

A Much Needed Relaxed Getaway
I cannot give this place enough stars for a quiet, cozy, relaxing getaway. It drizzled with rain nearly the whole time but that added to the charm.
Gary & Louise were wonderful. My partner came down with a fever the first night we were there and Gary brought down panadol and Cold & Flu tablets for him.
They also had put up temporary fencing so our little pup could not run away when we let him outside.
If you want a quiet time to reset your busy mind, I would recommend this property.

Stress free stay
Very comfortable. King size bed. Luxurious bathroom. Great view over the valley. Garry and Louise were really great, from the email communication at the booking stage, to a brilliant tip to take advantage of a moonless night to stargaze.

Delightful!
We had the most amazing four days at this wonderful property in Balingup. We felt like we were being welcomed home there and our dog Hudson was more than welcome in the Pavilion. All the small touches were just delightful - the lovely soap in the bathroom, the well equipped kitchen and the low dog fence so we could let our pup outside. Of special note is the wonderful bathtub!
We must also mention that although the electricity went off due to some extreme weather the owner brought over coffee and toasties for us to warm up our morning - we couldn't recommend this beautiful accommodation highly enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The Pavillion was beautifully decorated, spotless and cosy. Such a scenic location, beautiful rolling green hills outside your door, so peaceful and relaxing. The owners were lovely and very accommodating to us and our dog. I can't recommend this place highly enough and hope to return soon.

Really enjoyed the solitude and cottage stay. Owner introduced himself and was very helpful locating a mobile vet for us when we neglected to pack our dogs medication. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic 5* all the way !
From my initial contact with the owners , I found Louise to be incredibly helpful and informative and happy to go the extra mile ! On arriving I was so impressed as it was even nicer than the pictures.
It is in a beautiful valley, very peaceful and relaxing - just perfect!
On arriving I met Gary, the other owner he was also very helpful , even kindly giving me some gravy powder as I had forgotten mine!
Straight away he suggested putting up safety fencing out the front of the property so that my little dog would be contained , and even in the 37C heat came over to put it up !
I would definitely like to return to this amazing property , and I am so thankful that I was lucky enough to discover it!

Great Location
Lovely cottage conveniently located a few minutes drive from the town. We stayed one night in the Pavilion with our two dogs, we arrived after a long drive on a 40 degree day & the aircon was already on which was really appreciated. Cottage does not have an enclosed yard for dogs however temporary dog fence can be added around the terrace of the property on request which allows a small enclosed area for them to relax outside.

The pavilion is beautiful! Louise and Gary kindly popped up some fencing for our dog which was fantastic! We had the loveliest stay and would highly recommend.
