Lovely location for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant

An excellent place to stay close to Langres

We didn't have time for breakfast. The room was well equipped and with a lovely outlook over the lake and a good balcony.

It was a very enjoyable and memorable stay!

We had a lovely room with a balcony and view of the lake.A very peaceful and quiet location.

Everything was up to standard.No complaints.

The room was cramped, needed redecorating, and there were lots of flies in the room.

Fine for a night on a transit

Personnel is great, really nice people. Food in the restaurant at night was good.

Pretty small room, airco didn't really work (filter was completely cluttered, cleaned it myself after which it worked a little better, staff couldn't do anything to help or fix it), pretty noisy, thin walls. Lot of dust and dead flies, bathroom wasn't really that clean with soaprests on the wall (I hope, haha) and hairs that didn't belong to us. Restaurant was fairly expensive. Breakfast was too scanty for the price. Not that much to do in the direct surrounding area. There is a lake near it, but the only restaurant next to it was really snobbish and clearly had no interest in helping foreigners. We only stayed for one night, that was enough.

Come for the lake, stay for the restaurant

The restaurant was the highlight of the stay. Delicious food in a nice setting. The lake is across the street and down the way is an area to rent boats, swim, and eat.

Aside from the small lake there isn't much around so best to have a car.

Pleasant enough, nice rural, peaceful location.

The breakfast was a typical French breakfast and it was absolutely delicious!! The highlight of my stay there. Fresh homemade croissants, fresh grapefruit juice (not too sugary) and homemade jams. I enjoyed every mouthful!

When asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, before our arrival, if they had sent a menu as we had requested then we could have avoided our problems over the evening meal issue.

Nice hotel with view of lake from the room.

Pleasant location next to a reservoir. Our room had a small balcony with chairs, with a lake view. Nice staff and ample parking.

The view was nice. Free parking( but doesn’t belong to hotel)

The rest of the experience leaves much to be desired. Starting from the check in moment till the check out. On our arrival we asked if it was possible to have dinner and instead of just saying - no, we are fully booked the receptionist was blaming us to not have read the message hotel send, we said no problem but he continued to insist for about 1 more minute. After we were asked if we would take a breakfast, to what we asked if we can decide in the morning and another polemiche kicked in - they need to know for sure as it would be difficult to prepare everything in advance.. 😳 From what i understood breakfast consists of some industrial yogurt, jam, ham, cheese and bread (a usual combo) After that we were asked to pay immediately as there would be nobody at the reception during the night and before 8. Now about the structure - if you are a little over the normal night and especially weight - this hotel is not for you! The room is very small, the bed is put against the wall, so be ready as one of the travelers would have less pleasant night. The bathroom is just claustrophobic. You can not pass between the door and the sink to enter in the shower, you need to turn!!!! The width of the whole bathroom is 80cmx190cm to use the toilet and wash your face you have to keep the door open and while washing your face your would hurt your head with the shelf over the sink.. not speaking about all the water that would be on the floor. I wish the interior designer who did this to live in such a room till the rest of his life or give me back 90 euro!! a price of a 3/4 star hotel you can have in the center of the city. Never ever again!

Good hotel in a very nice location

The hotel is very nicely situated on a lake and near multiple hiking routes.

The room could've been a bit larger, but it was sufficient for our stopover.

Comfortable stay and outstanding restaurant

The hotel and restaurant have been greatly improved since our last visit. The restaurant was good before but is now really special. As mentioned a non-meat-eater struggles to find a menu, however the waiter was helpful and there was flexibility and fish was available. This brings me to my own personal campaign. In view of growing interest in vegetarianism (even in France) and the climate crisis, I'm surprised that young, innovative chefs aren't incorporating real vegetarian options in their menus. Why not rise to this challenge and be a pioneer?

The rooms are small but having visited several times before we expected that. No vegetarian options on the menu, but again being in France not entirely unexpected

The restaurant Lovely staff 👌 Clean bathrooms.

We had insects in the room. We woke up in the middle of night due to them....one was walking on my husband's face... well we understand that we were in the countryside but that was not confortable... AC not easy to control and it is just in front of the beds...rooms were too hot if you stop it and too cold if you put it on.
