Pro e contro.

La camera è ben pulita, il letto è confortevole, c'e aria condizionata, wifi stabile.Nelle vicinanze ci sono negozi e servizi. La prima colazione (solo dolce) è complessivamente buona, il personale è cortese.

In fase di prenotazione su Booking non sono fornite due importanti informazioni: 1) il check in è ad orari fissi (12-14 e 18-18,30;) su nostra richiesta, siamo comunque stati accolti alle 15,30; 2) l'uso del piano cottura dell cucinotto comporta un sovrapprezzo non pubblicizzato. È la prima volta che mi succede, i prezzi sono sempre comprensivi di tutte dotazioni delle camere: è come mettere un armadio, un televisore o l'aria condizionata e poi farli pagare a parte. In ogni caso, è necessario farlo sapere prima, non a prenotazione avvenuta e prezzo pagato perché i se avessi avuto la necessità di preparare cibi per intolleranze alimentari forse avrei fatto scelte diverse. La zona è piuttosto trafficata e può disturbare il riposo.

- Owner was really nice and helpful. She was really pleasant. :) - Room was very clean, nice and spacious so it was a pleasant stay. - AC was really nice after heat. - Parking was free and close to hotel. We were driving to 300 steps beach and Sperlonga from hotel and back, so it was really nice, that close from the hotel is way to go around main streets of Gaeta, where was really heavy trafic.

- Room has very weak wifi signal, it wasn't usable + mobile data were very slow in the room (edge as LTE was only outside), so it was a bit of a problem as we are used to plan next day in the evening. I think it was because room was in first floor. - Hotel is far from city center, so prepare for 30 minute walks. - Breakfast is if in Cafe close to B&B. Sadly there was only sweet pastry.

Good

Rosella was so kind and helpful on our arrival. The room was spacious and very clean. We slept really well! Good size fridge in the room where we chilled water (and a few bottles of prosecco!) there is no real balcony to speak of, but it’s nice to stand out on the little space and watch the world go by! Breakfast is a voucher you take to the cafe on the corner and get a pastry, fruit juice and a coffee. With no Italian to use, we confused them a bit but they were very happy to suit our requests. We only stayed two nights and Rosella made sure our room was clean and tidy after our day out, even though we had said there was no need. Wish we had more time here.

In the B&B room, there is a kitchenette but the gas was not connected. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea but we dealt with it. This area is far from the main town - it is the fishing area. There are bars and restaurants if you are prepared to walk a while, but we took a walk and it was an hour to the end of the harbour and we didn’t make it in any further as it was so hot.
