Rachel is such a wonderful host. The farm is so peaceful and relaxing. From the well appointed rooms in all of the home, beautiful bathroom amenities, to the delicious breakfast. Close to small villages and sights. Live the knitting wool I bought that they make from their own sheep. Will be back.

Was in the twin room which did not have an en suite. Would have preferred an en suite bathroom.

Rachel is very friendly and helpful, and makes a fantastic breakfast. The property is beautifully decorated and it was perfect for a long weekend away.

Gutchpool is in a beautiful farmhouse setting, with fields, gardens, and farm buildings all around. The rooms are perfectly furnished, with comfortable beds. There's a large living room with a 'kitchen' at one end, where a delicious selection of breakfasts are served on a variety of French and English china. Plenty of sitting, views of the garden, bookshelves . . . all in a calm, tasteful milieu. We felt we were sitting for a photo shoot in one of those high-tier travel magazines. Rachel, the hostess could not have been more delightful or helpful regarding our garden tour- she knows the area intimately and her love for it is infectious.
It's a bit of a long drive from anywhere! But, if you need a day or two of rest in the middle of a busy vacation- this is your spot.

The breakfast was splendid. The location was a joy and all the facilities were in great condition.
No real complaints from me. My family and I had a great time and Rachel was a wonderful host, very accommodating and it felt like she had gone the extra mile to make us all feel welcome. A truly special weekend.

An exceptional property, everything was top quality including cleanliness decor bedding shower toiletries continental breakfast and location. Such a peaceful spot with access to garden direct from very spacious beautiful bedroom. Rachel was a warm charming hostess . Highly recommend this wonderful place and wish Rachel continuing success in her business

A lovely place! Beautiful rooms, buildings and gardens, lovely welcoming hostess, excellent food. The bedroom was perfect, quiet and comfortable with views of the garden. The spacious but cosy communal lounge was nice to relax in, and the delicious homemade jams a lovely touch. I enjoyed everything about my stay and will definitely return.

We loved the peace and quiet, yet convenient location. Rachel was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed walking on the farm and seeing all the animals. We had a gorgeous big room with a comfortable bed and views onto the garden and a door to our own terrace. It was a perfect few days away and we would definitely return.

Rachel was a charming host . The room and breakfast exceeded our expectations , we could not have felt more at home. We really appreciated being able to have a drink in the drawing room in the evening and write our expenses in an honesty book.

Friendly hosts. Super clean and quiet. Lovely communal area with wood burning stove, books and games - perfect on a rainy day! Nice, large bedroom with en suite bathroom (with power shower). Tasty breakfast.

Parking area for B&B guests fine so long as all guests park within the marked spaces - but if they don't its a bit more complicated!

due to covid we were not greeted on arrival and did not see anyone until breakfast

The hostess was not able to be there to welcome us. Her husband stepped in for her. The information we received before the visit included dos and don'ts which left an unwelcoming impression.

The breakfast was delicious! I loved the fresh fruit salad and the smashed avocados on sourdough. The room and location of the property was just perfect.

Gutchpool Farm provides a wonderful B&B experience for guests (at least in our experience). The rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable and the attention to detail in terms of everything about it is first class. It is an great base from which to explore a beautiful part of the country, and the accessible land surrounding the B&B itself is lovely and full of wildlife. The breakfasts were excellent, freshly made cooked breakfasts made to order. Lovely fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit, honey.
The WiFi is good, but a little patchy when you move to the extremes of the property. The track leading to the farm is a little bumpy, but both the above are nitpicking and neither serious criticisms nor serious problems relating to the quality of this Bed and Breakfast experience.
