Wonder Cozy Place to stay in the OBX!!!

I LOVED EVERYTHING!!! It felt like home and so close to the beach and restaurants, you can walk to anything!!!

Parking is a lot thight!!!

Wonderful, just wish it could have been longer!

Stay and accommodations were great! The convenience of first floor, and parking at the door was perfect for a senior like me.

Maybe access to ice would be good. We went off and came back to pack on our last morning and had a hard time accessing the room when we returned. Took about 10 tries on keypad. We didn’t have the info with us, of number to call for needs. There didn’t seem to be an office or anyone on site.

Loved our stay! Perfect for what you need! Would definitely stay again!

Loved the location and the pool was super clean and well maintained! Comfortable rooms as well! Very good value for what you need!

Floors could have been a little cleaner and the parking wasn’t bad as some say. It was just a tight squeeze. Definitely no big trucks. Cars and suv only.

Checking out the Outerbanks

The entire place had been redone & was vert nice. The bed was very comfortable which is a must for me. I typically prefer no housekeeping but the regularly orovided clean towels & new toiletries regularly. The kitchette area with table & chairs, small fridge, keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, sink, & cabinets was great. They even replaced used coffee priducts. Beach access was a short walk: over one building & across the street. We enjoyed the pool also which was always clean. There was plenty of furniture around the pool with lounge chairs & tables with chaurs. There was a grassy area to cookout but we did not use this.

Parking was tight so you needed to be careful when backing out or driving thru. They did have a few spots for larger vehicles. This was an older remodeled facility. Also, I did not see an ice machine anywhere. These are generally standard & would have been helpful especially since there were no ice trays in the fridge.

Absolutely Phenomenal!

Absolutely phenomenal!! I should've read my confrontation email better, but the stay was gorgeous. Smaller, but with how updated and comfortable this place is...... I recommended it to all of my friends, who all said they'd book the next time we all came up. Absolutely phenomenal. Clean, comfortable, soft bed and bedding, comfortable surroundings, staff were super helpful and friendly as well.

Parking was a little cramped, but that's really the only thing I can think of. Absolutely stunning place!

Our NEW Annual Nags head vacation home away from home

Everything!!! The size of the room, the fact that the beach entrance was directly across the street, the fact that I was able to bring my pups with no breed discrimination, the staff, the kureg coffee machine in the room as well as microwave, mini fridge, and toaster oven, the great wifi, the pool, the really nice dog area which included corn hole, picnic tables, and grills, the extra pillows and blankets already in the room, the fact that it was super cool in the room when we got there.... On one of the hottest days of the year so far, the PRICE and VALUE compared to other options I considered. So, after being a loyal visitor for at least a week every year for the past 9 years and having a terrible experience last year at a diff motel that we used to consider our home away from home (no affiliation to this motel but very close to this location) we are making the see sea our NEW annual nags head home away from home. Soooo glad we gave this place a try and look forward to coming back this August for our week long stay.

Honestly, the only gripe I could have.....if I were a Karen.....and I'm not... Would be the tight parking area. This is in no way an issue that would make me rate my experience lower or deter me from coming back, only an obstacle which causes me to have to pay closer attention so that I don't clip anyone in my attempt at parallel parking. 😂

I will never stay there again.

The only thing going for the property is the beach access and the outdoor pool.

The beds were horrible! Couldn’t get a good night sleep at all. I woke up achy and hurting each day. The third day they switched me to the room next door and that didn’t make a difference. Apparently there was no topper on my original bed. The bed next door had a topper but didn’t make a difference in comfort. also, comparing the two rooms I stayed in, and room 21 the refrigerator wasn’t working. The freezer wasn’t freezing the food. The drawers had no handles. It seemed like my room wasn’t finished. Spoke to other tenants, and they said their beds weren’t comfortable either. They said the bed was hard.

Cute place-Great location

I booked a short visit very last minute and was able to get room #1. Perfect for 1 person. I actually loved being the end unit! Room was very clean and decorated nicely. Although small, it was equipped with a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven. The location is a huge plus. Within walking distance of many great restaurants (check out the hidden gem Food Dude's Kitchen) and the public beach access is right across the street. Although there is no staff on site they were very helpful when I found myself locked out (operator error I'm sure) and I was able to call the after hours number. They had the door unlocked remotely within seconds and gave me some helpful hints to ensure it didn't happen again 😀 Overall my stay exceeded my expectations. As an older motel it has great character and is the perfect beach getaway. Loved everything about my stay at See Sea Motel and I will definitely be back!!

Although this did not impact my stay as I had the end unit, I can see parking as being very problematic especially with those driving larger vehicles. It was very tight. In the room I stayed there was no dresser or a place to hang clothes if needed. Not a problem for me, I was only there 2 nights!

It was cheap-as they all are this time of year.

Location. Keyless entry

Room not ready until after 5 pm. Terrible pillows. Had to chase people around to get supplies-they never cleaned or restocked the room one time. No ice machine. The parking lot was only navigable because the place was empty.. Can't imagine having to drive anything other than a compact car during the season.

Adorable but floor needed cleaning

Location was great ...very close to beach access!! Great efficiency room with king bed and kitchenette with turquoise coffee maker and microwave! Even had a toaster oven! Adorable decor and beautiful artwork! Manager was very accommodating and responded immediately to our request for a TV remote when we couldn’t find one.

Well... everything LOOKED spotless but our feet turned black after walking barefoot on the floor. We had to clean them with wipes before getting in the bed. I wiped the floor to make sure it was the floor (and not just our feet😒) and it immediately turned black. I don’t want this to hurt business because it’s such a nice little renovated retro motel. Perhaps it’s not a typical occurrence, but the floors and rugs need a serious thorough SCRUB!

Could have been better

Very compact, but well equipped room. Had frig, microwave, large toaster oven, and small keurig coffee maker. Recently remodeled.

Online checkin very difficult when you have no internet connection. No staff on property. Stayed 2 nights, no housekeeping service...in that climate,wet towels do not dry overnight, but that’s we were stuck with. No ice machine. With a larger vehicle, navigating parking lot is quite challenging.
