Very clean and practical, owner very responsive and flexible

Check out time a bit early

It was very conveniently located to the center of Capri, I really loved staying here. It was also located right above one of the best restaurants in Capri called Lo Sfizio . It was a bit of a walk uphill from the Piazetta but literally only 2 mins uphill. Again really loved staying here, it was clean and comfortable.

Half way between Capri and the Tiberius house. A beautiful but very long uphill walk, like many in Capri. You have to be fit.

When we booked the site mentioned the host would meet us at the flat, but in the morning of our arrival, we got a message that the flat was "self check in" and sent us a video on how to get the key and access to the flat. Fortunately we were still in the Naples hotel with wifi, because otherwise we would not get the message as we don't have 5G in Italy. We followed the instructions on the video, txt the host that we had arrived, unpacked and went for a walk. In our return, the host rang us to say he sent the wrong video and that the room we entered was not the one we booked and we had to move the following morning to the cheaper one we had booked for a short 2 days visit to Capri. We had already booked a tour for the morning and said we couldn't. There were lengthy discussions and in the end we gave in and moved that same evening, instead of having our planned aperitif in the balcony. He compensated us with a dinner in the restaurant below the flats, but by then, the whole Capri experience had been ruined. The first flat was good, the second was not, including no privacy, bad internet, impossible TV connection and a faulty front door. Booking.com must ban "self check in" anywhere.

Location

Noise coming from restaurant at the back, too small for 3 people, uncomfortable sofa bed. No complimentary toiletries, too expensive for what it is.

Early check-in at 11.30 was perfect and we loved the terrasse. The room in in the beautiful and quiet upper part of Capri City.

It was difficult to find the room/place without the guidance of the person encharged.

The place compact but with everything what necessary. Everything handy and clean. We really like being there.

During our stay there we’re works going on in the other part of the building so it was a bit noisy and no one inform us about it before. I think it is important information as people are going to rest on holidays. But it wasn’t that bad, I would say moderate. I advise to change the bedsheets as there is only one layer with a waterproof insertion, nothing on the top of it, which makes you feel like sleeping on the plastic. Not really agreeable.

Lovely spacious property with a good double bedroom, bathroom and washing machine facilities.

You are right next to and above a kitchen. It is quite noisy at night so be prepared.
