Kinvara is a good location for exploring Galway and County Clare. The property is fine with plenty of space and well equipped. We even managed to use the Hot Tub which was very rewarding as the weather forecast for the week was not very very good.

PROS: A great location allowing for easy walks into town. It is large enough to accommodate a big group (we were one couple with four teenage boys age 14-19 ) and there was plenty of space to spread out and have privacy to decompress when we weren’t out and about. Nice size driveway for off street parking. Kitchen is functional. Washer and dryer work. Master bathroom downstairs had excellent water pressure/hot water. There are some nice touches in terms of decor (rug/hanging tapestry in stairwell, table runner) Property management was very responsive and helpful throughout. (We mistakenly brought home one of the house keys and they were very kind and understanding. Also local relatives requested early access to leave us groceries etc and she orchestrated that.) Allowed us to checkin early. CONS: House needs a thorough deep clean. Outdoor space could use some love. Upstairs shower had low pressure. The online description states that there are superior quality mattresses and linens; the master mattress downstairs is not great. Bedding and towels are fine/adequate, but not superior. Overall- price feels high for what you get; house could be better outfitted and cleaned for how much we paid. But management made it a pleasure and the location was prime.

Great self catering accommodation with all the necessities provided and great location for all the popular Sites in Clare and Galway. Some items in the property could do with updating e.g. throws and rugs but this certainly wouldn’t put anyone off from staying here.

Nice little cottage in a lovely village but in need of some TLC.. Very poor storage space in the upstairs king bedroom. Bed linen was lovely and clean and crisp. Very poor storage space in the upstairs bathroom, while the downstairs bedroom and ensuite were both good. The living room is cosy but personally I would get rid of cushions and throws as in my mind these harbour aromas etc. The biggest disappointment was the garden, which from the photos looks like lovely large green space, but in reality its bumpy ground where the obviously over long grass was strimmed and left! Would have been a lovely area for the kids to play football 😢 Also, from the photos it would appear that the cottage is not overlooked by anything, in reality there's a building site right beside it. The clothes line was miserable and no clothes horse. Overall, cute cottage but not worth the money we paid!!
