Was clean and easy check in ! Plus a beautiful view!!

Very nice and clean property in a community with lots of trees. Beautiful view. Good layout. The space was perfect for my family. Property manager was prompt to respond to any questions. Would book again if available.

We absolutely loved this Vacation Rental! We loved Hummingbird Haven and it holds so many memories for our family!! The view was amazing and we look forward to booking this VRBO again! Thank you Holly for being so sweet and such a great Host as we got nervous about the weather and she was just a phone call away. We never got internet, but we entertained ourselves w the beautiful fireplace, views, and family games. I was a little late to mention a review, but this cabin is a must stay!

Great experience with a family with kiddos. We didn’t have WiFi (due to weather per host), but that made us get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Stocked with kitchen supplies to cook. Would definitely return! The views were great!

The house stinks of mold! We could not stay there and left. The owner screamed at me that he is an attorney!

Loved the cabin! So clean and cozy

Cabin was good but some of the small things could be improved. It would have been helpful if there had been instructions on how to utilize the TV. Very difficult. All in all, we would stay at this property again and recommend it.

Good place to rest

This was the perfect place to escape to with our family! We enjoyed the game table of checkers and chess and outdoor table with the fire feature. Definitely will book again! Thank you!

Cabin/House has an awesome view of the mountains. It's a great location to enjoy nature and go on walks.

The cabin we rented was great. Upgraded amenities, comfortable rooms. The house was clean and had all we needed. A note to travelers, the master bedroom is on the top floor with no private 4th wall for privacy. Additionally, if you are renting this space in the summer months, the room up top is rather hot during the day. There are sheer curtains on the windows so it doesn’t keep heat out. But otherwise the space is perfect for a group. House was stocked up with essentials and the patio in the back was a nice, relaxing time. We saw deer in the backyard woods and the house is in a beautiful neighborhood with views of the lake. We would definitely be happy rent this place again while in the area.

We had a wonderful stay over spring break! The house was clean and very cozy. The sunrises and sunsets and views off the balcony were gorgeous! Loved that it was so close to Alto lake. We enjoyed hiking and checking out the local wildlife. Close to Ski Apache as well. It was our first time to Ruidoso/Alto and we will definitely be back!

Overall a good stay but could use a little improvements to make it stand out as a great cabin Cons: cabin wasn’t very clean, sheets and towels had an odor to them. Shower curtains looked dirty. Shower heads are very low. Toaster didn’t work. Propane tanks are not left full. Whatever is in them is what you get so check them before use so you can fill them. Kitchenware could be a bit better. I would rate this higher if it was cleaner, while not a deal breaker just something’s that could improve the stay.

We loved the property and the host was easy to work with. Only downside was the king sized bed was not very comfortable. Everything else was great!

It was a girls trip with my sisters. The house was just beautiful and the view was even better. Loved the patio. This will be my Vrbo house go to in Alto.
