We had a great, relaxed time at this comfortable locale.
It was nice to be able to go out on the water and drop back via the rocky beach for lunch :)

It appears that the owner has recently built a second cottage right beside this one. Like 10 feet away. No barrier of any kind separates the two front yards. The access to the beach is located on the imaginary dividing line of the two units. You absolutely have no choice but to mingle with the other occupants as if it’s a duplex.
The beds in our unit are seemed smaller than standard queen size. The representation that the place is air conditioned is a stretch. There is a unit built into the wall in the living room and a portable in one bedroom. There are a number of fans available. The bathroom has recently been renovated. The rest of the place is original.

Great location in a beautiful area. The welcome book was full of information to help familiarize with activities and the area.

The house is really nice with the bedrooms and bathrooms situated in a way that any noise from the main part of the house is limited. Perfect for an early riser. Although we were there at a time when the lake was too cold for water activities, it is beautiful to view from the large picture windows. Truly a great place to stay.

I liked the location. The over all experience was great.
I think it was little pricey for the property.
I wished they open the property for small pets at least.

This is our 2nd time staying on this property while visiting family. You can't get a better location on the lake, then this one! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Great place to relax and is steps from the lake which was the warmest lake water we have ever swam in. Good place for young families as the lake in this location is very shallow for kids. The outdoor shower was an added bonus we didn’t know about before our stay. Everything was clean and in working order and the adjacent property had no one there so it was very quiet.

The location couldn't be better - so close to town but very quiet and "private" (neighbors next door were great.) Spacious living and dining rooms and the patio is fabulous!

Overall the stay was pretty great. The list was accurate and there were no surprises. Waking up to the sun shining across the lake in the morning was a great way to get the day started. It worked well for our family of 5. I will caution those with younger kids that it does echo, so if your kids are as loud as mine, then you'll hear them playing around if you're trying to get some extra sleep in.
The location was great. It's 2 minutes from Prince's and 4 minutes from town. We were there to see some family, who lived on the complete other side of the lake, and it only took 10-12 minutes to get there. The border was still closed, but it's only 10-15 minutes from Canada.

The place was nice & it was great for my lil family. Kids enjoyed the ice on the lake. They never seen anything like it. Since there's no kitchens in hotels/motels, having a kitchen was champ when restaurants were not open during the pandemic.
My daughter & I are cooks & we made amazing meals throughout the staybut appliances & pots & pans needs to be updated. We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage.

We enjoyed our stay in the lakeside cottage. Facing East, we could see across the sparkling water to the orchards below the arid hills on the other side of the lake. The small pebble beach was wide enough to sit out on and an umbrella provided shade. The lake is fairly shallow with a pebble bottom, so the water warms up and provided a cool, but not cold, way to refresh on a hot day. The concrete patio had a seating area with umbrella and a table with umbrella. The grassy area to the side was exposed to the sun during the day. The breeze off the lake kept everyone cool. The house was spacious enough for our family of four. The living and dining area faces the lake with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. The kitchen is small but serviceable and well stocked with kitchenware and dishes. The two bedrooms had queen beds and plenty of space to spread out. The sofa in the living room can also be made into either a single or queen bed. The bathroom has an awkward layout with small shower and vanity, but it includes full size washer and dryer and extra storage space; it worked fine for a vacation. The TV is small, but includes cable. The Internet was very slow. But we were here to enjoy the lake, rather than sit online. An air conditioning unit in the living room and fans throughout the house helped keep the house cool. The interior has been nicely updated and provides a comfortable place to hangout. We enjoyed lakeside meals, relaxing on the patio, and cooling off in the lake. We explored the area, visiting the ghost town museum at Molson, hiking the Similkameen Trail, and driving through orchards. We enjoyed our stay and would happily come again.

Fantastic little surprise get-away spot! Can sleep up to six and we loved the closeness to the lake! Sitting on the patio, you are right near the shore line! Modernized cabin with a great view from the living room and kitchen that looks out over the lake! Played golf, hiked the Similkameen Trail and had a salmon bbq. Will visit again!

Great Little Getaway Cottage
We had a wonderful stay at the property. The space was clean and very functional. Nice little touches like wine, fresh cherries, and gift certificates supporting other local businesses. The outdoor space was beautiful. Location has great proximity to grocery store and other amenities such as boat launch and beach. We would stay here again.

Neat and tidy.
During our stay the weather was very windy and cold. The chalet was a cozy den to watch the winter drama unfold. At 9 degrees and wind gusts to 50 MPH the bedrooms got really cold. More blankets would have been appreciated.

Excellent and relaxing stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ron and Nancy’s cottage! The house was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and the best soft & fluffy towels. The comfortable outdoor chaise with views of the lake was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Quiet and private, it was just what we were hoping for a family getaway. We brought our oaddleboard and floaties and spent lots of time in the water. Our hosts were attentive and helpful, and quickly resolved a small plumbing issue. They also provided us with some of the most delicious tomatoes from their garden!

Wonderful stay at an older home on the lake
The views are great. The morning sun warms the front then it's nicely shaded during the late afternoon heat. Great outdoor seating to enjoy viewing the lake, and enjoying family and friends Relatively private location but still close to town services. The home has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Extremely responsive and friendly owners.
