Located in a quiet friendly neighborhood in La Jolla. This garage converted studio is the perfect place for a person or couple to get to know the area while on a budget. It is close to La Jolla's famous Windansea Beach. This unit is pet friendly, there is even a park a short walks away. This is a very utilitarian unit, offers basic amenities such as a two burner stove, microwave and standup shower. The unit is a no frills unit. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: There is no cable TV. You may stream on the TV. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property.. Like most properties in this coastal climate, this unit does not have air conditioning. This home is pet friendly. Please contact Mission Sands for details. There is a 95 dollar fee. And the pet must be house broken. There is no assigned parking. Parking is on the street.

The location is fantastic. The room was clean, but maybe not rented for a while as there were a few spiders in their webs around the room. The bathroom was sooo small. Literally, if you are obese, you will not fit in the bathroom. When you sit on the toilet, the sink is inches from your face. I was able to touch all for walls of the shower by slightly extending my elbows. There is also a sign that says you must wait 5-10 minutes for the hot water to kick in. Also, this property is listed as being pet friendly. They allow dogs but apparently only dogs without vocal cords. I went to the store for 20 minutes and got a call from the rental management team saying that the owner (who actually lives in the same house. The rental is a converted garage) wanted to have me evicted because my dogs were barking. 20 minutes! If you are staying alone, and don’t mind being cramped, then this place might be a good rental for you. The beach is right down the street. My opinion though, spend a few more bucks and get a nicer place.

Location was VG and the place was very clean, however when you factor in the management fees that double the advertised price, it seemed excessive pricing for what you get.
I should not have been so complacent and kept searching after the true pricing came in.

The pictures do not reflect how small it is. There are fans provided but virtually no airflow without fans (it is a converted garage). For the price, disappointing. But great location. Apartment was clean and well appointed for a small kitchen.
