The breakfast buffet was not only delicious but extensive and served beautifully! We enjoyed it each morning. The wide selection was wonderful and the seating area cozy and well appointed. It was also quite child friendly! We appreciated the cheerful friendliness of the owners as well as getting to know some other guests. Definitely worth the price.
Mendig is a bit far from the various interesting sights of the region - we had hoped it would have been closer since one has to drive a ways to get anywhere. Although showing much skill and talent, the modern glass art decorations in the room could be a bit frightening or upsetting to a small child and might need explanation.

Das Gästehaus Klaus ist bunt und farbenfreudig eingerichtet. Vielleicht für den Einen oder Anderen erscheint es kitschig.
Das Frühstück ist sehr liebenbvoll in Buffetform angerichtet. Vor allem erwähnenswert: kein Plastik!!
Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich!
Es gibt nichts negatives zu erwähnen!

Prima ontbijt, goede kamer, gelukkig kregen we de beschikking over een tweede kleine kamer om onze bagage in te zetten. Zonder die tweede kamer zou het erg krap zijn
We moesten even zoeken naar de toiletartikelen en de fles doucheschuim was leeg

Das Frühstück war sehr, sehr gut mit reichhaltigem Angebot. Appetitlich angerichtet!
Das Zimmer - eigentlich schon eine kleine Wohnung mit separatem Zimmer, kleiner Terrasse (die wir der Jahreszeit entsprechend leider nicht nutzen konnten - Winter) die sehr einladend wirkte - wirklich sehr geschmackvoll gemacht! Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Wir können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

No sabía que la habitación está en el primer piso. Hay que contar con subir unas pocas escaleras.

On arrival we were greeted by the host, and shown around the rooms. He directed us to places where we could eat in the town . Spoke very good English. Nothing was too much trouble.. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Small friendly and warm family hotel, original decoration, the guests are art lovers and this can be felt in the establishment and the rooms. The room is spacious and quiet. A chair to work on the desk would be nice. Simple but adequate breakfast. Wi-Fi a little slow. pleasant stay.

Loved the spacious rooms. Toilet and showers were exceptional. Really loved the art decor and vibe of the place. Also breakfast was delicious with amazing options. Highly recommended and look forward to staying again soon!!!

Location was perfect for touring the area. The room was a very stylish two bedroom. The breakfast was perfect.
Parking is tough. No reserved parking so if you aren't lucky, you have to hunt the neighborhood.
