Went for a 2 day get away with friends and our kids. Place was tidy and well stocked with kitchen ware. There was an adorable black cat that hung around d the cabin. Not alot of room for kids to play on the property but plenty of things for them to do on the island.

This was my 1st time renting cabin #5 and I probably will never rent this cabin again. We barely were able to watch tv for the 4 nights we stayed. It kept switching over to no signal & just shutting off. I called one evening regarding the issue & no one came. I called the next morning about the issue, not sure if they checked the tv out or not but the issue was not corrected. The place was not well cleaned. We found someone’s spit bottle next to the bed and a pill in the couch, just overall pretty dirty everywhere & if you walked across the floor barefoot even just for a couple minutes , your feet would be black. It didn’t seem like when they cleaned that anything was moved to be cleaned thoroughly, even the spatula in the drawer had food still stuck on it. The cabin seemed pretty old & beat down compared to the other cabins I’ve stayed in the past 5 years.

Had fun, updated and upgrade neededcleaning staff needs to improve. Pulled out beds and vacum had not been behind either bed in master bedroom. Needs to have though cleaning and upgrades.

We had a wonderful stay at island club rentals. The only down side is that the kitchen was only partly stocked. We were missing scissors, cake/brownie pan, and no kitchen towelettes or oven mitts. All things that we needed. Overall it was very spacious and a nice place to stay.

The property had everything we needed. It's outdated, worn, and the sliding glass door was broken and duck taped together. There was mouse poop on the kitchen counter. Overall, everything worked and we had a great weekend.

House was excellent except could see a better supply of cookware. Stayed ag Island Club twice actually and first cabin wasn't as nice as the second one. Parking for boats was an issue though. Fish cleaning area needs a big improvement

Nice location if you prefer to mostly stay away from the bar crowd, shuttle van for $3 per ride is a great idea. Grounds and pool are very nice, but no toddler area at the pool. House was in a major need of upgrades.... had to clean up and do dishes to get deposit back, but sink didn't have a plug to hold water. Last guests put dishes away wet and covered in food particles after rinsing, but not washing... had to wash all dishes before we could use them. Understand there are newer updated rentals.... I would consider renting again in a newer unit.... but not the older one we were in. And housekeeping after guests leave needs to do a more thorough job to make sure everything (including dishes) are clean for the next renters.

I had emailed the island club explaining my experience. We got on the island at 12pm and we knew we had to wait till 4pm. We arrived to the guest house just to set our things in and continue our vacation. It wasn't till late or the next day till we noticed the problems. The kitchen floors and bathrooms were filthy! We were sticking to them and trying to wipe them up. Our wipes and paper towels were black! Toilets were not clean. All but a couple of wall hangings were on the floors leaned against the walls. It didn't have that home feeling. Smoke detectors didn't have any batteries, that's a violation. When using the grill only right side flamed good. It was corroded in disgust. At night if The bedroom lights On, u could see it directly in them. Felt like no privacy . And I hate to complain because I've stayed here before with other family.

We stayed in Island Club #5 and it looked pretty much exact to the pictures online. However, our AC unit was broke at the thermostat and we could not turn up the temp or shut it off so the first night it was under 50 degrees in the house. Maintenance came and took a look Saturday morning and concluded it needed shut off at the breaker and that's where we would have to control it from. We all came home with horrible colds from the temp inside the house. Also little nats are a huge problem that we didn't know about and we only opened the doors to come in and out so as a whole group the doors were maybe opened 4x a day and there were nats everywhere. The garbage can outside was also over following (from previous renters)which didn't help the bug issue. We did enjoy the island and this really would have been a much better house if the AC was working properly.

Overall we had a great time and the cabin was wonderful. Just a few complaints- the smoke detector had no battery in it, there were cobwebs EVERYWHERE, it must have been months since anyone dusted lastly almost every lightbulb was out- also there was no soap in the bathroom and we were not told to bring handsoap.

For the price everything was as advertised. The "master" bedroom light didn't work so we used the lamp and the shower had 3 inches of water in it by the end of a 5 min shower. Our stay wasn't long enough for us to hassle with calling maintenance. Overall it was a nice place. We'd stay again for the price. We wanted to be away from downtown since we are not big drinkers so location was great.

I love staying at the Island Club and would defiantly recommend anyone stay here. Although it is not on the main bar strip there are always taxis readily available to take you and your guests in to town and they are always very friendly. Each rental has appliances, features, furniture, etc that always make our stay a great one.The only reason I gave a 3 star below was due to our air conditioning not working properly.I have stayed at Island Club for years and years and always come back to stay there and always will.

It was overpriced. On top of paying way too much for a run down cottage, all eight of us ended up spending another $100 in cab fares just to get any place that was worth going. Definitely staying at a hotel next year unless the price is drastically reduced.

Out rental was a little rough and not overly clean. There were hairs in the bathroom sink. They could definitely use some remodeling. Maybe keep certain rentals for "partys " and others for families. The management was very helpful when we called about check in and allowed us to keep our golf cart a little longer then checkout. We did notice that on Monday, things calm down and the pool was wonderful. This was our second time staying at the Island Club.

Dead bugs and cobwebs greeted us upon arrival. Showers were small and could not use tub in master bath. Plenty of places to sleep. We did not receive full refund, sent email to ask why and did not get a response. Called to see why and they said they would send remaining amount, but they were not nice or happy about it. Still don't know why we did not receive full amount the first time.

We had a great weekend and enjoyed everything the Island Club and Put-in-Bay has to offer. The only complaints were that upon arrival, we felt the need to vacuum the floors, some lights weren’t working, and then our AC stopped working. Once all of those issues were fixed, we had a great time. When we called for help for the lights and AC, the Island Club staff was quick to send someone out, which was greatly appreciated.

I have stayed there in the past for the Spring Fling. This was my first time for the Fall Ball and I'm going to make it a tradition every year now. The taxi drivers are the best and make the short ride well worth it. Jerry helped us out a ton as we weren't able to bring our cars over on the ferry due to the weather. He made it easy as possible for us. The house was in tip top shape as always, it's very warming. Our home away from home. All the staff at Island Club are the best and give you 110% all the time. Thanks again IC!

Little bit of a rough start our first night due to some miscommunication but we received a personal apology from the property management which more than made up for any miscommunication. All bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, my friends and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! LOVED how close the property was to the pool!

Overall, we had a GREAT time! Management was great- easy check-in & check-out with helpful instructions. The location was a little far from town if you want to enjoy the nightlife. Our rental included a 4-person golf cart, but there was 7 of us, so we always had to make 2 trips with the cart. Each bedroom had 2 beds each, so we all had our own bed. The kitchen was equipped, but had no non-stick frying pans. Fridge worked well, but old and no rails on door. Coffee pot old, but worked. The huge grill was a BIG plus- awesome grill out on the big front deck. Air conditioning worked great. Fancy- no; more than adequate and clean- YES.

Beds were clean, everything seemed to work fine except for the Direct TV so we did a maintenance call on it but he was unable to get it working. Also the previous guest left a golf cart behind the building that has a flat tire. Overall, it was a nice vacation

Great cabin, great location.The only issue that seems to happen year after year is the AC being weak. By the end of the weekend it was pretty toasty. Other than that, great trip!
