Gran casa en Ponta Delgada

El contacto con el dueño de la casa y su buen hacer para estar lo mejor posible. La limpieza y el diseño de la casa. Disponer de aparcamiento propio. Estuvimos genial.

Viel Ausstattung (gut funktionierendes WIFI, Esstisch, schöne Beleuchtung, eigener Parkplatz, Willkommenssnack, Entfeuchter! Es wurde individuell auf Wünsche eingegangen.

Great base to explore the island with a very helpful but not intrusive host.

Lovely accommodation, clean and well equipped. With private gated grounds with just two other similar holiday lets.

Definitely need a car, which if you’re exploring the island is already needed.

Great quiet stay just outside the city center.

We liked the patio area to hang out at night and in the rain, we liked the hosts, had everything we needed in the kitchen and if we didn't, the hosts were accommodating to provide it.

The shower is missing shelves so you can only keep toiletries on the floor and the shower didn't drain well. Otherwise it was a great experience!

Wonderful secluded location with all facilities needed. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and the pineapples amazing. It was also nice to visit the pineapple plantation.

The location is perfect if you’re renting a car. If not it might be a bit far from the centre with a 40 minute walk.

Nice and clean villas, very welcoming host

Communication with the host was very smooth, Rui was very friendly and helpful, always ready to help or to answer any questions. The villa was very clean and equipped very everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very helpful to have washing machine and dryer as well. We received a generous welcome basket with everything needed for breakfast and delicious pineapples.

The rooms were a little cold and humid.

Little piece of heaven

The apartment is located on a pineapple plant and welcome fruits await you when you are coming to the apartment. Rui is a perfect host to help you with all arising questions. Besides the necessary amenities in the apartment, the host prepares you all the necessary for the first breakfast in the beautiful apartment. Despite the house looking nothing special at the arrival we found a small piece of heaven inside. In our apartment also, the patio with swing, whirlpool, and loungers was an additional surprise. Only to recommend ... and return once in the future.

The streets in the area of Santa Rita are mostly narrow and one-ways. The parked cars beside the streets make them even narrower. Avoid coming in a big car. Also do not follow the Google maps suggestion on how to come to the apartment - Rui gives you far better suggestions on which way to select.

Amazing location, wonderful host

The Santa Rita Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay during our time on Sao Miguel Island. Great location not too far from Ponta Delgada. Rui is an incredible host and went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed. He even helped us print documents we needed for our return flight to the US. The space itself is large, clean, and fully functional. We used the kitchen as well as the laundry facilities during our stay. Can't go wrong with staying here!

Comfortable, clean and charming guesthouse.

Our stay in this comfortable cottage was wonderful from beginning to end. Rui and Silvia made us very welcome. Rui communicated with us regularly, and offered tips and guidance before and during our visit. The house was spacious and immaculately clean, with all the amenities we needed. Our house was exactly as it appeared in the photos on the booking site. Mini markets and supermarkets were relatively convenient (by car), and the complimentary breakfast foods left in the house for us was very welcome. We enjoyed the outdoor patio for breakfast, and it was private as the house next door was vacant. It was an added bonus to stay among pineapple greenhouses and see close up how these delicious fruits are grown on Sao Miguel. We can definitely recommend this accommodation and would be happy to return when we next visit the island.

Wonderful pineapple villa

Best host ever seen! All time help us. Before arriving contact by WhatsApp. Help with car rental company and suggest beautiful places. In villa been pineapples and some food for breakfast. Also for good mood pineapple liquor:) villa full equipped and safe and clean. In garden good jacuzzi:)

Brilliant location, excellent host. Would highly recommend.

We stopped in Santa Rita Greenhouse Villas for the first four days of our stay on Sao Miguel. Rui was an excellent host, he was in contact over WhatsApp shortly after booking. He offered to meet us at the airport so we could follow him to the property but it is relatively easy to get to. Rui met us at the property, showed us round, offered recommendations for restaurants and invited us to visit the Pineapple Plantation (though we eventually didn't have the time to do so!). Even after leaving the villa, he advised us to message him if we required further recommendations or advice. The property itself is in an excellent location, we used it as our base for Ponta Delgada, Sete Cidades, Ponta da Ferraria, Ribeira Grande and Cha Gorreana before moving onto a second location in Furnas. The villa felt very safe, with plenty of parking. Very close to the Continente supermarket for supplies. The rooms were spacious, light and clean, and we had access to a washer and dryer during our stay. Wifi was great, with a smart TV (you can log into Netflix or mirror your phone screen onto the TV as we did). There was plenty of storage for clothing/suitcases. We were also provided with a welcome basket including pineapple, milk, bolo levedo, tea etc which was great after the flight! Thank you for having us!

Google Maps did not take us to the correct location initially, so we actually drove straight past the entrance the first time. However Rui was on hand (in person!) almost immediately to give us the correct directions.

A great stay in a comfortable apartment.

Rui and Silvia were very good hosts. They were very attentive when we were staying there, helpful and kind. The property was perfect!
