Good

I loved the location and it's proximity to social amenities .

The Room was quite stuffy and there wasn't sufficient bedding . The pillows need a thorough wash too .

Great comfy place if you're on a budget, close to the beach and next to a supermarket

Great location, right next to a 24/7 Quick Mart. The room was comfortable -- no air conditioning but there are fans. Felt very safe with a security guard on premises at all times. I didn't utilize this, but they give a discounted dental checkup at the dentist office downstairs if you'd like.

Phone communication could have been better, but it worked out in the end, and I was even able to use VISA to pay for my stay! I arrived late in the evening and there was a little difficulty communicating with the security guy, but no actual obstacle as he promptly led me up to the room.

It was my first time staying in Mombasa area, i always stay in diani when im in kenya, so from now on i will no doubt start stay in Mombasa/Nyali area and i will for sure come back to Tevah, that place i really felt was my home, and i love the room and how close it was to everything, and its a brand new supermarked just right outside the gate, they have everything you need and always fresh/cooked food, best place to go buy nice cheap breakfast and lunch.

Nothing to complain about at all, its no doubt one of the best places i stayed in kenya all the time i been there 😊

A place worth a re-Stay

Everything was superb, nice environment, friendly staffs, The kitchen was clean and nice I got to prepare my meals, Located close to the center so it's accessible I enjoyed my stay there I had to extend my stay Definitely coming back

Deceitful and misleading… Depressing

Security guard was a friendly good guy

Dirty kettle.. Very old “hospital” rooms ..No soap provided, no water provided.. No bed changed .. No new towels except when requested.. USD rate of 127 KSH only when you pay in KSH but not when receiving change.. I have got some shocking photos that I will forward later. Deceitful and misleading and we were forced to stay there because we were exhausted and could not look for another place with the bags we had.. Disgusting old bathroom that you really want to use only when absolutely necessary ..

The guard was nice

The bathroom was so dirty, we took two rooms and both did not drain the water after more than 24hours the water was pumped and the dirt from the drain was left there. I do not recommend

Nyali Gem

- Very secure. - Good location. Short drive or about 30 minutes walk from Nyali Beach. 15 minute walk from main Nyali shopping malls. Some good eating and coffee spots close by. - Staff were really friendly, helpful and responsive. - Property has accommodation upstairs and a dental surgery downstairs. They offer a discount on a check up and clean if you stay in their accommodation. - Room I stayed in was comfortable, quiet and private. - Good shared kitchen is available so I was able to self cater most meals. - Excellent WIFI - Very clean. Room was cleaned and linen changed every 2nd day.

The services and security staff were exceptional, this place will be my second home from home, everyone is very attentive to your needs especially Brenda and the entire receptionist staff keep up the good work real five stars treatment

Pay more attention to the water heater sometimes the hot water is not working especially weekends

The room was very clean and the staff were kind.

They asked us to pay by cash, but the rate was higher than the one on the site. The water was weak.

Wonderful stay in spacious room with large terrace in quiet location along main traffic artery

Wonderful room with a large terrace / balcony out front. Along one of the main roads between Nyali shops and Mombasa town but nice and quiet. The watchman is always available and helpful. The room was large and clean, the beds comfortable, with a fan. I had a wonderful 3 night stay and would stay here again. Matatu's, boda boda's and Bolt are available to take you to nearby shops and it's just a short hop over there.

I'm a towel a day person and Tevah provided one (large) towel for my 3 nights stay. I did not ask for more towels as I brought my own. Btw, all other accommodations I stayed at only offered 1 towel for multiple nights stay, so perhaps it's the norm?

Mark the hotel properly. It was very difficult locating the hotel

Buy good mosquito net. Your net is too small for the bed. We were really eaten by mosquitoes hehee

Good location. Quiet and comfortable. Close to a java restaurant, so I got something to eat.

Really should consider getting AC instead of a fan.

Great value, great staff!

Despite the ridiculous hour at which I arrived (4am), there was someone available to let me in. Correspondence prior to this confirmed that this would be ok and it certainly was! Beautiful staff and sooooo accommodating!

There is no air conditioning but hopefully that's something that can be installed eventually.

Superb

The location was great. Proximity to the beach & Nyali shopping centre (Naivas) was impressive. Loved our stay there, would definitely stay there again whenever in Mombasa.
