Beautiful location. Needs better hospitality.

Great location. Comfortable bed and linen.

Poor hospitality. Unfriendly manager. Small breakfast menu. Didn’t cater well for vegans.

Fantasic overnight accommodation in Franschoek

Great position in town, waking distance to the main road with restaurants and shops but parking is also available on site too. Nice plush rooms with complimentary wine & voucher for a local vineyard. Great view of the mountain and pretty rose garden. Outstanding breakfast served in the morning and overall a good spot to stay while venturing out to explore the town.

Only a small petty thing was the access to the property is a bit cumbersome with 3 different keys for the various gates, we got home late in the evening and had to fiddle around to get the right key to the right gate. Should note on the upside you are quite secure on the property with the gates!

Beautiful guest house with the most outstanding gardens.Tasteful design comfortable beds large room with a spacious terrace overlooking a swimming pool with dramatic mountain view Quite side street 100 metres from town centre.Excellent breakfast cooked to order .Polite staff efficiency managed by a professional on site manager .Would merit a10 not the 9 I gave as a grade but for the small comments I have .Recommend the place to anyone

Bed lamps attached to same switch as main lights so one cant read at night without disturbing partner .TV has Neftflix but no TV channels.Message says you can switch on your home subscription so tourists cant see news or sports .A little expensive

Loved our stay at Les Chambres, it was a pleasure to spend time there and enjoy the food/hospitality

Lovely quiet location in the centre of Franschhoek, beautiful property with stunning garden, terrace and pool area. The room was very well appointed with a large comfortable bed and stocked fridge with goodies. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

There was no bath in the room even though online when you book it states that there is a Victorian bath. The aircon was not working

A beautiful guesthouse in the centre of Franschhoek

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They make an amazing breakfast. The guesthouse is located in the centre of Franschhoek making it super easy to access restaurants. It is very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable.

The guesthouse currently does not have any generator and is therefore subject to load shedding. However, they are in the process of installing solar panels, which will solve this issue.

Lovely place, very clean and neat with newly decorated rooms. Solar power to avoid the frustration of load shedding . Staff were all very helpful and friendly, going the extra mile wherever they could. Great position, close to great restaurants , wine tram and other amenities..

Beautiful guesthouse in a perfect location

Les Chambres is a beautiful little guesthouse just off the meson street of Franschhoek. Les Chambres was clean and very tastefully decorated. the pool and loungers were lovely and breakfast was delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse is in a perfect location with a very very short walk to the Main Street and walking distance to the Franschhoek wine team station.

Location, Staff and Rooms were amazing!

The lack of back up power, so no fans worked during loadshedding and was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Needs to have fans and one light, plug working. This literally made the stay not perfect.

A beautiful, well-situated guest house with a warm welcome.

What a wonderful place with a warm welcome. The breakfast was amazing - beautiful buffet plus freshly cooked options. Nothing was too much for the staff. We would definitely return again if in the area. The little extra touches in the room like home baked cookies and fresh, cool bottled water were very much appreciated.

Exceptional

Exceptional - my husband and I stayed for 2 nights and could not fault a thing. The grounds and pool were gorgeous, the room was immaculate and breakfast was absolutely delicious. This was the perfect boutique hotel for our stay in Franschhoek - 2 mins walk to fantastic restaurants and a lovely 12 minute stroll through the lovely town to the wine tram terminal. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, as was the owner who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We would highly recommend.
