The location was good

The bed was awful. Noise from room next door was loud. Floor was uneven.

Seward/Resurrection Bay is clearly a beautiful place. This specific property is not.

-Rude owners, Overpriced, Dirty towels and linens. I feel that we wasted good money on a stay at Angels Rest on Resurrection Bay. We drove by the specific location of our stay several times, missing it because the sign in front of our unit was obscured by vegetation that needed to be cleared. The towels and linens in our room clearly had not been laundered. From the sour smell and matted appearance of the fabric, it was clear that the towels were just refolded and hung in the bath after being used by previous guests. There was also an odor in the unit. My daughter’s eyes were watering from what appeared to be sheets that were not clean. It's beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. We were disappointed with the “water view” which offered a tiny sliver view between the distant cabins (see photo from our unit). The photos on booking are misleading, as they are either cropped or magnified to give you the impression of a much better view. When we questioned it a condescending text message that I have shared with booking.com followed blaming us for “not knowing what we booked”. But honestly, the state of the accommodation pales in comparison to the real horror show - the owners. I was traveling with my adult daughter-just the 2 of us- and when they cleaned the room, they saw that both beds had been slept in. So, they immediately assumed that we had 3 people in our party. They texted me the following: “Just and FYI” it appears you were a party of THREE but you booked a room for TWO. So you’ll see an additional $51.50 on your credit card for the third person charge.” No discussion, they just added the charge without even asking us about it. I guess they expect that all 2 guest parties sleep in the same bed, regardless of their relationship. Not only are these owners rude, but they also just have a poor understanding of the needs of guests and are dripping in greed. I urge you to consider other properties in this area and read reviews from all online sources.

comfortable and Serene, loved sitting in the comfortable glider rockers in the evening, watching the bay from the sliding glass door.
