The location was great and the place looked amazing just like the pictures

The bed makes streaking noises but otherwise okay

The rooms were spacious, clean and thr bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming.

Hermanus Manor was very accommodating to have me stay when my husband had to go into hospital for emergency surgery. I was not sure even of how many days I'd be there. I had a little garden to eat my take out meal in, which was pleasant after a day at the hospital.

There was nothing not too like.

Our room was upgraded at no extra charge and we had access to our own garden, which was nice. The room was relatively clean, there was also nice to have breakfast made and served to the room - breakfast was good! I think that there place has lots of potential. There is a stunning market up the road from the B&B which I would recommend.

We would have like to have aircon or a fan of some sort in the room. One thing to mention is that the bed and pillows are not comfortable. The B&B is extremely quiet at night, most of the lights are off, it didn't feel very welcoming - we weren't sure if we were the only people around (although there were other cars parked outside). The shower is nice, although the water doesn't get very hot - we could shower in hot water only. There place also seemed very unfinished - there was a 'maintenance' sign on the billiard table. What I was quite annoyed by was that on the rules in the room, it stipulated that we should request whether we wanted the room to be cleaned - which I didn't request, but when we returned from being out in the morning, it appeared that someone had been in the room - the bed was remade after I had already made it - had I known that there would be someone entering our room, I would have not left my personal belongings out.

A stunning B & B nestled in the heart of Hermanus, extremely spacious rooms and amazing staff.

Although the room is spacious, the bathroom area is a bit small, specifically the shower.

I highly recommend this place. Very big and comfortable room with all the necessary for a convenient stay. Easy access to the beach, friendly staff. Very clean and quiet.

The property did not look the same as the pictures on Booking.com. It needs some loving care and it will be nice if the common areas are restored to what it looks like on the pictures. The pool area needs attention too.

The rooms were spacious and had a jacuzzi. The room allocated to us had a private garden.

The host rudely rushed us shortly after check out time at 11h10. She repeatedly knocked on the door, reminding me of the check out time, also stating that if I did not leave in due time, she would charge extra! This was quite startling , as I was disturbed during my shower. I feel that the matter should have been addressed professionally at reception. Knocking repeatedly is just rude ! In all my travels , this was my first encounter being rushed at a check out🤮 Also the duvets had a stale smell and fireplace did not emit heat well!

Staff was friendly. Easy access to the beach. Area is quiet. All amenities within walking distance.

Breakfast orded bacon got beans .fruit salad isn't fruit is just a apple salad with plain yoghurt and muslee very plain Nd boring no honey served with it . definitely not worth a 100 rand

The staff was attentive and very helpful.

This is a homestay, and should provide a washing machine OR a place to dry clothes. Some of the furniture in the room (like a couple of dining chairs were broken). I saw that on day 2 of our stay the staff came in and quietly hung a painting on an empty wall :-)
