Grande ospitalità marocchina!

Finalmente un Riad da ricordare dopo molta mediocrità!! Qui tutto è perfetto, dall'accoglienza ai minimi dettagli della location e della camera con addirittura piccolo vaso di rose fresche. Gentilissimo tutto lo staff sempre disponibile e sorridente. Il top è stata la colazione di elevata qualità, ricchezza di prodotti e freschezza. La colazione mi ha davvero riconciliato con la cucina marocchina per la verità piuttosto monotona. Molto bella la terrazza attrezzata con comodi lettini.

Un piccolo fraintendimento per l'orario della colazione chiesta in anticipo ...ma certamente compensata da tutto il resto

Super séjour !

L’équipe est très accueillante et très aidante. Amine donne de bons conseils et de bonnes adresses ! Le petit déjeuné préparé sur place est juste extraordinaire ! Bravo à la cuisinière !! Ménage fait tous les jours. Très joli espaces communs.

super localisation au coeur de la medina. Amine est adorable et son accueil parfait. le petit dej est excellent et copieux, merci beaucoup aux 2 cheffes.

Great central short stay

Breakfast was excellent l loved the egg tajine it was really tasty also lovely variety of breads, pancakes caramelised apples, rice pudding, and fresh orange juice. Coffee & tea staff helpful and welcoming

Belle découverte d'une autre culture très riche.

Emplacement au coeur de la Medina donc parfait. Chambre petite mais suffisante pour 3 nuits. Déjeuner parfait! Personnel d'une gentillesse extrême.

La Medina est fréquentée la nuit donc il y a quand du bruit jusqu'à minuit au moins. Le lit était trop dur à notre goût.

An excellent stay within the Medina

A great location within the old town but just a 5 minute walk from the Supratours bus station (buses from Marrakech). All the staff were fabulous, being welcoming, warm and attentive. Lovely room with plenty of space. Fabulous breakfast varied each day. Rooftop sitting area with views. Value for money

The roof top area could be made more appealing with a few shrubs etc

Super riad

Nous sommes déjà venus plusieurs fois au Dar Awil et ne sommes jamais déçus ! Le Riad est agréable, bien entretenu, et super bien situé dans la Médina. Le petit-déjeuner est juste parfait, le meilleur de tout ceux que nous connaissons !

Juste le matelas qui n'était pas très confortable.

Zeer goede uitvalsbasis om Essaouira te verkennen

Zeer gezellige setting in de medina. Het personeel is ongelooflijk vriendelijk, verwelkomend en hulpvaardig. Het ontbijt is magnifiek; lekker en veel. Zonnig terras op het gebouw met ligbedden.

De bedden zijn wat aan de hardere kant.

Le riad comme on l'aime pour une escapade inoubliable à Essaouira!

Un riad comme on aime, accueillis avec chaleur, gentillesse, décoré avec gout, à 2 pas de la Porte Bab Marrakech, dans la Medina et idealement situé pour visiter la médina, le port ou se balader sur la plage! Mention spéciale au petit dejeuner préparé avec amour et chaque matin différent: un regal dès le reveil! Merci à toute l'equipe!

Enjoyed our stay at the Riad.

Budget stay with friendly staff

The staff were excellent and informative, helping us settle in by giving us a run-down of what to do and where in Essaouira.

We booked a double bed and were disappointed to find our room had two single beds pushed together - this was very uncomfortable and made worse by the fact that the mattresses were too stiff. Our sleep was also disturbed by the poorly fitted rattling door throughout the night. Furthermore, the walls were very thin and we could hear other guests making noise into the early hours of the morning.

Modern riad in the heart of Essaouira, with lovely rooms and staff.

Amazing room with private balcony looking over central courtyard. Very well decorated throughout, including a beautiful kitchen on the ground floor. Big shower in room, and large sun terrace on rooftop. Breakfast was the best we had during our trip, including eggs, cakes and yoghurts. Staff were extremely friendly, giving us a map of Essaouira. Location was very good right in the centre of the old medina.

No air conditioning in room although wasn't needed when we stayed. No pool or jacuzzi but we were aware of this when we booked - it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach!

It was a great stay. I will definitely book this again!

It was close to “the action” and restaurants. Very clean and good breakfast. Great price and the staff were so friendly and very helpful. The vibe was so Chill despite being close to the markets.

Clean and cosy rooms, nice living area and very friendly owner. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Loved the open kitchen and to watch the bread being made freshly for the next breakfast.

The roof top looked a bit abandoned. But not sur if that was just because it was really really windy on that day.

Little paradise in Essaouira

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The owner gave us a warm welcome, a map and the key things to do/where to eat which was super helpful. Super location-near the beach and all shopping/restaurants. Bed and pillows very comfortable, great shower. Breakfast super intimate (candlelit) with all fresh food and great variety, cooked in front of you Fresh roses daily in our room and on our balcony.

Seagulls will attack you if you try to go on the terrace but didn't matter because we always went to the beach. There were always flies in the lobby and where breakfast is served which was strange because the place is very clean.. A little expensive for a riad but worth the money. Street leading to the riad is very dirty but common in Morocco.

Nice Riad for a reasonable price

The Location of the Riad was really close to the Bus Station - perfect for us since we arrived in the evening. The owner was very nice and his staff as Well. Breakfast and Dinner was homemade and we can recommend it. Thank you! :)

A bit loud during the Night but that's everywhere in this City as it was near the Main Street.

Exceptional dar in the lovely city of Essaouira

Everything! Our host was pleasant, helpful, delightful, and thoughtful. The staff was kind and provided every support we needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We wish for it now that we are back home. Very clean and comfortable, soft cotton sheets on a very comfortable bed. Strong shower water pressure, extremely comfortable and lovely dar. Highly recommend.

A true gem. The riad is lovely and the service very good.

The riad was in a good location, easy to get to with luggage from the station. it is very tastefully decorated and furnished. our room was small but had everything we needed.. The bed was comfortable and the pillows just perfect. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to recommend restaurants and find us a very good and reasonably priced driver for the next part of our trip. I loved Essaouira and would stay here again. I would probably book a bigger room as they are so reasonable. The breakfast was very good with delicious breads, orange juice and Moroccan eggs. As much coffee as we wanted and this set us up for the day .

There was nothing I didn’t like.
