That its not pet friendly

Everything was great. Ladies at the wront desk were the best. Our pool waiter Calimbau, not sure about the name though, was the nicest waiter ever. Only for breakfast, they used to have more options, but this was good too. All in all great value for money.

Room service a bit slow, but it is understandable since they were fully booked.

Very clean, lovely maintained gardens, good hairdryer. Stunning pool area.

Basing this review on our rooms. We stayed in a standard twin room, and it is extremely basic accommodation.  Nothing special, photos look better than the actual room. Very dysfunctional layout with the shower in one corner of the room and the toilet on the opposite side of the room with what seems to be a kitchenette between the shower and the toilet where you would also brush your teeth.  Not a good set up at all.  No air ventilation in the room as there is no window, only a sliding door (which you would not like to sleep with open at night for security reasons)  the airconditioner is facing the headboards of the beds.  Not ideal to have the cold air blowing on your head.  The bath towels are small (more like large hand-towels).  An office chair in the room (not a great choice of furniture decor for the room).  Our door did not lock, we had to ask twice for someone to come and fix the lock, which they eventually did attend to, however after dinner when we got back to the unit, the door did not lock again.  Maintenence is not up to standard at this property.  Bad management.  We had pizza's at the restuarant which was the worse pizza we have ever had.  No atmosphere or decoration in the restaurant, felt like we were eating in a school hall. The restaurant is awful and needs to be updated. The reception area is dull and needs a welcoming upgrade.  Lack of management at the restaurant or on the property. 

Rooms were great! Clean and I had great comfort! Food was wonderful! The amounts were great for my appetite! I don't mind coming back again with my wife or with friends and stay longer! Keep it up! Good job!

I did not have anything that I thought I would mention here. Only for the waiters and waitresses not to prioritise white people because they may think they give good tips. Some of us may actually be very generous too.

Wait staff very friendly and helpful. Food portions above average yet very tasteful. Recetion staff professional, but they could smile a bit more.

Wifi signal weak and generally slow. Not a deal breaker.

The luxury tents are superb. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, great staff.
