Very attractive hotel, staff and location

This comfortable hotel is right on the beach; better than all the other places I have stayed at because there is a clear natural path through the coral reef right in front of the hotel (so no need for water shoes). The water is warm, calm and crystal clear, perfect for snorkelling to see the colourful fish straight off your doorstep, it’s great. The Swimming Pool is spectacular, has a large jacuzzi in one corner and a mini diving board - Perfect length for that “i think i will dive in - glide - to emerge the other side of the pool; Perfect for ordering a cold drink from Mohamed who is always helpful and many thanks to Yasser the best manger. The staff are so friendly and nice that if they notice you don’t have one of their provided fluffy towels with you they’ll be one ready for you without even asking, 5 Star service i must say. Very cool peaceful area, ideal for the chillaxer. Great sky view of the Moon, Jupiter and Orion’s Belt. The Scenery is Beautiful - desert mountains to your left (that i swear can look like a camal laying down) pretty tropical fish coral reef in front of you, peace and quite though not far from the action, shop to buy drinks, fags, caviar, rolling papers - around the corner. Plutot bien , quelques petits points a améliorer pour passer au niveau du dessus !

Face a la mer Nettoyage impeccable du linge Chambre spacieuse

Petit dejeuner leger en quantite et qualité (2 cuilleres de corn flakes, pas de jus, 3 petits triangles de pain de mie). Le jour du check out (prevu à 12h), dès 11h40 on est venu toqué à ma porte alors que j’attendais mon petit dejeuner depuis 40 min. Lors de mon arrivee j’ai demande que tous les matins me soient servis un petit dejeuner continental, j’y ai eu droit 2 matins, puis les 2 autres suivants on m’a servi autre chose, j’ai du exprimer mon mecontentement. Le taux de change que m’a fait la réception. Nous avions acté 38, le lendemain il m a presente un calcul a 37 J’ai voulu prolonger d’une journee, le staff m’a propose en prix le double de ce que j’avais paye sur l’appli, il a fallu que je negocie pour avoir le meme prix (attention à ne pas trop aimer l’argent) Si vous prenez les excursions plongee, n’incluez pas le pick up (il vous est facturé 10€), alors qu’en prenant un taxi vous payerez 70 pounds (2€)

Great location

The view from the rooms. Easy access to the beach, right outside the front door. Everything you need in the rooms including kitchen with microwave and full sized fridge.

Exceptional

amazing view \ friendly staff they help us to do all activities we want .. they help us for every thing very clean and the apartments included kitchen and microwave and big fridge beach is good super market 2 minutes walking

Great value, perfect location

The location was perfect, right on the beach and only a short distance from stores, shops, restaurants, etc. The staff was very friendly and accommodating -- we asked for late check out, which they allowed us to do with no problem. We were 3 people and the space was large enough that we could spread out and didn't feel like we were on top of each other.

Not necessarily a criticism, but if you book, you should know the kitchen had no pots and very few other items and bathroom was a bit dingy. But they had a hot pot for coffee/tea, it's summer in Dahab (very hot and sunny!) and we were on vacation, so who wants to cook anyway! The shower worked and we could rinse off, so it wasn't an issue. Anyway, not a problem for us, but just mentioned it so folks know what to expect.

Nice hotel, good service, not great amenities.

The hotel was clean. The amenities were fair. But when asked for more toilet paper or another sheet or towel, it was bright right away. breakfast was fair. Staff were great.

Amenities. Soap, bath gel, shampoo were all purchased by me. I expected it would be provided by hotel.

Location is great, right at the beach! it’s in the quiet area! breakfast was good

the apartment is very old, and bathroom was dirty and it has some strong smell! it needs some renovation! it might be that other apartments are nicer but ours was not! Not good value for the money

Had a great time in Dahab, great choice !

Amazing location, the host Mohammed is the best host in Dahab, super friendly booked all of the tours, taxis and activities. You feel like you are at home !

Great value for low price...large rooms and great views!

We liked the value for the money as it was a beachfront property. It was a lot bigger than expected and the staff was friendly. We didn;t use the pool as we ran out of time but it was nice and great views. The property was about a 20 minute walk along the water to the town which was convenient.

It was clean but we did see several cockroaches in our room which was a little unnerving as we killed a few but still was a large one we only saw once. But otherwise, it was very clean.

despite everything, we really enjoyed our staying there . and yes , by chance we would like to come back or day !

location and the price . and definitely the staff , they are super nice and friendly . when we had some issues with faucet and wiring they fixed everything very fast

I had to clean kitchen by myself . all the facilities are pretty old , and some were getting broken during our staying . water pressure in shower was low . rooms could be cleaned better

Very good

The view was delightful. Very warm welcome from Mohammad, he looked after us ,anything we needed he sorted us out. Breakfast was nice.

Pleasant stay in Assala

The apartment was nice and clean. The sea anf sunrise views over the gulf from our terrace were awesome. The breakfast was good, though the ful was from a can, without adding oil or codiments. It was good to have eggs added to the Egyptian bft as we requested. The staff were cordial and attentive. The beds were comfortable, though the sofa bed was not. The bathroom was ok with hot water. The fridge, stove and micfowave were nice to have. We did not use AC

The location in Assala is quiet, but has the disadvantage of being a long walk from the bustling waterfront walkway (mamsha), with the better cafes, restaurants. It is close to the Assala market however, with some cheaper but good seafood restaurants (Miami, Maryam, but not Darwish). Note that no fish is freshly caught in Dahab, it all comes from Suez or Tor. The beach in front is rocky (go to laguna for a sandy beach). Some minor things like a missing light bulb or a defective tap that did not bother us much. There are plenty of cats which look on your terrace as their own. Dahab is full of dogs and cats which are mostly very friendly however and not aggressive

Nice location on seafront in quiet area walkable to the centre or Assallam Square shops

Overlooking the beach, sea view from room. no road traffic as theres just a beach track to the hotel. staff friendly and helpful if you needed anything eg they brought me a microwave ( it was in room spec) and top sheets, we later moved into the much better upper “honeymoon” room with a bigger sunnier balcony at a higher price.

kitchen was very delapaded. in fact lower cupboard was missing, just enough equipment to cook. i had to give cupboards a scrub myself.

not worth the money

the sea view is only reason to stay here

Maybe we were not so lucky to get old dusty apartment, that totally need renovation. Lot of broken things, spots on walls, scratches, sockets doesn't work (actually doesn't hold charger), there is no duvet cover, no soap. Wi-Fi doesn't work in the room. For this money you can get better place in Dahab

Perfect place to recharge, friendliest customer service, great price performance ratio!

The hotel and hotel beach were extremely clean and calm. We enjoyed excellent customer service. Our highlight of the day was waking up to a view of the beautiful ocean and then enjoying some excellent breakfast with beautifully cut up fruits, falafel, Omelett and salad (this was the Egyptian breakfast). Each evening we decided if we would have Egyptian, Continental or British breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was then brought to our room in the morning, or to the beach if we were feeling like it. My vegetarian and gluten intolerant friend was also able to enjoy this breakfast. We also had tea and coffee at the bar regularly and enjoyed chatting with hotel members. The hotel is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. All employees are kind, understanding, welcoming - and helpful, for example they printed my boarding ticket on the day of departure.
