Our recent stay at the Four Seasons in Giza/Cairo was an unplanned serendipity, transforming a travel hiccup into a memorable experience. Originally stranded due to severe weather that disrupted our journey from Alexandria and caused us to miss our flight, we found ourselves unexpectedly at the doors of the Four Seasons.
From the moment we checked in, the competence and attentiveness of the staff were evident. Their warm and professional approach turned our initial disappointment into a feeling of being genuinely cared for. The highlight of this exceptional service was a complimentary upgrade, a gesture that speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction.
The room itself was a haven of comfort, boasting what might just be the best mattress in the world. This, combined with the tranquil ambiance of the hotel, ensured a restful and rejuvenating stay. It was the perfect reset we needed after the stress of disrupted travel plans.
Overall, our experience at the Four Seasons in Giza/Cairo was a delightful surprise that gracefully ushered us into the new year. It's a testament to how unexpected circumstances can lead to wonderful experiences, especially when you're in the hands of a world-class establishment like the Four Seasons. This hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's a place where unfortunate events are transformed into cherished memories.

Upscale classic hotel in Nile side area of Cairo. The hotel is a bit older and less up to date than more recent hotels. The elevators are quirky and have two different sets of keys to get to your room. Room was spacious and overlooked the tired zoo area of town. They built an apartment building between the hotel and the Nile so no water views from this venue. The best (or worst) is their Nile Boat restaurant has to be accessed by walking across a busy three lane highway-no cross walk or bridge! Very Egyptian. Breakfast is magnificent and best we had throughout the Middle East. So a mixed bag but we will go back.

The Wi-Fi did not work consistently and often dropped. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Hotel was clean. The area around the hotel with the exception of the restaurants on the river was not clean

The room 820 was beautiful and we loved our beautiful oasis after busy days.

I traveled to Cairo for my 50th birthday, with my teenage son. With this being our first trip to Egypt, and knowing that I wanted to have a comfortable experience while traveling, I decided that the Four Seasons First Residence would be the best option.Prior to arrival, I corresponded with hotel staff, and let them know that we were traveling for my birthday.
Arrival and check-in were seamless. We were immediately greeted by an attendant who took our bags to our room. Check in was very easy, and every front desk agent we worked with was wonderful. I don't recall the name of the young lady who assisted us, but she was absolutely wonderful. Please check to see who the front desk attendant was in the evening on 9/9 an.
Upon arrival to our room, I was surprised to find a birthday cake, card and other pastries and bedside slippers.
Our room was large and very comfortable. WiFi was as fast as my WiFi at home, and most walls already have universal outlets.
The hotel is connected to The First Mall, a luxury shopping center that's open until 10pm. La Gourmandise, a hotel restaurant, is also in the mall. They have the most beautiful French pastries, and a full menu.
We checked out on the 12th and returned on the 14th, to find MORE birthday amenities, including falafel (after I mentioned that I love it) a cake and embroidered "Happy Birthday" pillow!
I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. Thank you!

We loved this beautiful hotel! The staff were exceptional. Youssef in room service in particular was amazing! We had a view of the pyramids from our room. There's a view of the Nile river from the gym. The gym is amazing and so is the outside pool. The cabanas are free for hotel guests which I loved. They didn't skimp us on anything and all of the staff were lovely. We will be returning!

The room furniture is old, very bad. I was given a smoking room and my request was non-smoking which had a bad smell had to move rooms which took almost a day and two extra hours to manage the move with the staff. The property shouldn’t be a four seasons at all.

The hotel was a diamond in the rough. Not located in the best neighborhood but inside the premises it was one of the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed! The staff was very nice, the suite was stunning, and the food amazing! The First mall of Giza was breathtaking, the spa unbelievable, the pool was next level. We enjoyed hooka in the bungalows by the pool and enjoyed wonderful drinks at the lounge. It was a fantastic honeymoon trip we will always treasure.

Property itself is nice, however getting around of hotel was unsafe. Busy streets with no rules and safety guidance. Staff are super friendly

The entire staff was extremely friendly! I want to recognize Mr. Youssef Khalid at the front desk. He was very kind and professional. He is very well-mannered and he made me feel very welcome to the hotel. I also wish to recognize Miss Elina - Guest Experience Manager. She was very gracious and made my hotel stay very comfortable and pleasant. She is also a very skilled staff member who greets and assists her hotel guests with great enthusiasm and courtesy. I had a very memorable stay at the Four Seasons Giza.

The Four Seasons at First Residence is the perfect example of old-style elegance with added modern features of enhanced dining and shopping.
We were part of a tour group, but arrived a day early to ensure that we could have delays, but still start the tour on time. We arrived very late (~2AM) and found that we had been upgraded to a much higher category room - a very pleasant surprise.
The buffet breakfast was wonderful, the staff very friendly and eager to provide the best possible service. Other meals within the hotel complex were equally pleasant and reasonably priced.
In general, a top notch place to stay in Cairo.

Spacious, quiet, clean rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. Understated luxury. Free fitness center facilities, of which I made use. Choice of several restaurants, with excellent dining.

The hotel is complete luxury! They spoiled us rotten - we received an upgrade to a gorgeous room and they delivered a cake to our door to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The facilities are wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The whole experience was a complete treat from beginning to end.

Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. In fact, all staff throughout the hotel proper - at reataurants and bars, housekeeping - and in the attached mall were friendly and always eager to help. We very much enjoyed our first few days in Egypt because of the facilities and personnel at the Four Seasons.

Beauty, Cleanliness, professional and accomodative staff, efforts to meet guest needs, gym, (coed and female gym for muslimah) clean and heated pool. Location comvenient for my family needs. Alongside corniche for walks or jogs, high end mall attached, lovely dinner cruise/boats nearby. WAS BUSY YET ACCOMODATED our early arrival (10:30 am) & subsequentally gave us a beautiful room upgrade to facilitate a personal/family request.

Overall property was good. Clean and great restaurants. Staff were responsive. My only issue is that I requested the room be decorated for my birthday and was assured ti would be however when I arrived it was not. Also, when I left my room for a short period during the evening I came back to a guy from housekeeping in my room and was startled when I came in, quickly grabbed my personal blanket and began folding it saying he was cleaning, when I looked into the bathroom it had not been cleaned and keep kept saying I'm sorry and left without cleaning anything. It made me extremely uncomfortable and reached out to the concierges to change my room. The concierges were very responsive. The fee for airport pickup is too expensive; 90 dollars for a Hyundai Sonata. Other than that my stay was good.

Worth every penny- we visited 5 different hotels during our stay in Egypt and this was by far the best. The staff was amazing, we felt safe, and the rooms were so comfy. The food was delicious and just felt at home.

The hospitality and cleanliness of the property are top notch. Second time I’ve booked with the hotel and will continue to return for my visits to Egypt. An area of improvement worth mentioning is the door card. I’ve had to replace my door card 4x because it continued to deactivate because it was near a cellphone device. In reality the chances of your card making contact with your cellphone are highly likely whether it’s in a pocket or purse.
