This is my preferred hotel if choice anytime I stay in Huntsville due to the sky bridge to Von Braun Center. I've stayed here multiole times, and never had a problem. However, this trip was anything but enjoyable. To start there was renovations going on directly above my room, and there was no warning this would be the case. Therefore from the time I checked in until I left that night, all I heard directly above my room was the absolute loudest construction I havr ever heard. Fast forward to my check out (luckily it was a one day stay) Check out time is 11 AM, I headed down to the lobby at 9 AM. I waited for 10 minutes and found no one at the desk. I decided to grab a bite from the brewkfast while I waited. In that 30 minute window, no one ever came. I bypassed checking out and left. I've done this before and never had an issue. The next night I get a text message asking what form of check out I'd prefer, to which I reply that I do not have a room there for this night, and it was for the night before. I got no reply, so I assumed it was just a mistake and forgot about it...until I woke up the next day with a charge for a secondary night that I wasn't even there. So now not only was it the most unenjoyable stay I've ever had in any of my stays.....I now get to spend days disputing the secondary charge with my credit card company as well.

Booked a king bed room but got 2 double beds. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Loved the evening reception with free drinks. Booked this trip due to seeing a comedy show at the Von Braun Center. Great location.

Our stay was great! Very nice room. Only thing is the room was really old. Carpet stains and cracks in the shower wall. For the price we paid I was expecting updated or newer renovations. But overall good experience at this hotel. Breakfast was good.

The most disgusting Embassy Suites I have ever seen. Mold in shower, stains and bubbles in carpet, dust piled up in corners. Disgusting. Do not stay here.

The ice bucket was falling apart. And there was something cream colored on the side of the couch which also had two cigarette burns. The bulbs were low wattage and it was too dark. But the staff were very helpful.

The outside and lobby were amazing, you get to the room and it smelt horrible, carpets are stained and bed is hard with springs showing. They need to spend their money on updating the beds and new flooring

I've stayed here several times and never had a bad experience. The gift shop in the lobby serves a limited Starbucks menu , very convenient.

The rooms were a little outdated, but they were huge.

Management of this facility need to invest in better training of its staff. Staff not to blame here. It is management that needs to invest time and $$ to train staff on how to give guests a memorable experience. Staff executing their roles as "a job". Asking someone to borrow a $0.15 pen was met with "It's against hotel policy" without even the training to go get a pen from the front desk. That was only ONE example to help management understand what I mean about training. Investing $millions in renovation won't help a hotel whose staff does not really understand the purpose of their daily work. They must be empowered to help teh guest have a great experience. Having said that, I must also be fair and advise that several guests needed their own training in manners and child restraint. They too added to stress for the staff. Embassy Suites can do better! I stay at their facilities in other cities.

We reserved four rooms, but one room was not assigned, so we were assigned to another hotel nearby. In addition, other guests were already using the room for the rooms they were assigned, and they had no choice but to wait for an hour to recheck in. It was the worst booking ever.

Wanted to charge $25 for an early check-in.
First room they gave us smelt heavily of cigarette smoke.
Carpet is extremely worn & stained.
Guest room furniture very outdated & worn.
Mattresses mediocre quality.
Not enough staff at check-in desk. On phone with guests waiting excessive amount of time. Several just walked away.
Breakfast buffet was best part of the stay.

The fact that you charge a guest for parking in your garage at your facility. Th excuse given was, ' others do it, so do we'. ....Not good at all...

I booked a non refundable room, but because of travel complications I needed to push the date (not cancel). After many hours on the phone with Expedia and also the hotel, it was decided that I couldn't move my check in date. I thought non refundable meant that I couldn't cancel but apparently it means that you can't push the date by a day... Unbelievable that both Expedia and the hotel couldn't help me. I ended up booking with another hotel... And not through Expedia.

The carpet in our hotel room was disgusting and needs to be replaced. It made the entire stay less than good. The pool was nice, I will say that.

I got bedbugs there.

The room was not properly cleaned, there were gummy bears on the floor and trash in 2 of the 3 garbages. The rugs were badly stained and were old. The amount of money that i spent didn't match the accommodations.

Staff was very nice. Lobby is beautiful. Suites are PAST DUE for RENOVATION. From carpet to walls to furnishings and most definitely the mattresses, it all needs to be replaced. Even carpets in hallways need changing. The convenience of walking to convention center is wonderful and the reason to pick this hotel, because the rooms DO NOT live up to the lobby or the price point of this hotel.
