The room was spacious and clean. Great location, close to the park entrance. We ate at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, and loved it! Would definitely stay again.
Nothing!

it was clean and practical, although very motel like
the location and surrounding options for food were slim. The adjacent restaurant was booked up and consequently we had to drive 30 mls and replan the other days.

EVERYTHING! The staff, the room, the food was all just amazing.
There wasn’t a thing that I could find negative about this property!

Listening to the river outside the cabin. The delicious food at the cafe.
Nothing, it was perfect!

I liked being near the creek
Bigger shower but ok for a few nights. Don’t like the fan running when the light is on

Wonderful cabin, beautiful scenery. Great restaurant.
Suggestion: replace the curtains with blackout curtains for travelers not used to sleeping in daylight!

Loved the closeness to the creek. Also that they had fire pits with free firewood. A community grill/picnic area which would be great when staying with a group. The food at the cafe was delicious!
We stayed at the homestead lodge and on the first floor. Easily heard neighbors flushing toilets. Lots of noise on the stairs and upstairs. When asking about any waitlist about cabins the man at the front desk was not very accommodating/helpful.

We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and it was the best food we had on our 2 week trip in Alaska! Wonderful staff too. Our room was beautiful and very clean. This stay far exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Close to Denali NP. Quiet. Upscale restaurant, and u could walk to the bar next store for casual food and to hear about others' experiences in the park. Great view of snow covered mts from the balcony. Good parking.
The room was not huge but was fine for a couple.

The food is tremendous, wonderful meals. Sitting by the creek listening to the water is very relaxing for the soul.

This is a lovely property, with a creek running through it and a campfire area and large covered but open-sided building and picnic tables for common use. The creek widens out to a small rocky beach if you like to dabble your feet in the cold water. There is a café with expresso and home-baked goods that will provide take away lunches. There is also a restaurant on site with a limited menu, but delicious homemade food, Including award-winning chili. Our room had a small fridge and microwave plus a coffee maker, and a balcony with a nice view, but close to the highway. Laundry on- site, and close to the Denali park road but far away from the touristy places at the park entrance.
We expected a cabin, creekside. We were given a hotel room in a motel type building (although a very nice one with a balcony and nice amenities) far from the creek, and the other cabins are small and close together- not at all a rustic experience. The kitchenette n our room didn’t have stove/pans so ability to make our own meals was limited to microwavable foods. Cabins numbered up to 25 are indeed creekside, so I would suggest requesting one in advance when booking.

The premise was so beautiful! We stayed in the Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The food and atmosphere at the cafe was great too!

Breakfast was great but not included in the rate.
Cabin was comfortable, private and quiet.
Although not the reason for visiting, a television would have been nice to get through the bad weather day. Expensive considering no breakfast included.

Convenient
Wifi is not good. Usually no wifi at night which is really not good

The best place I stayed during my 10 day vacation in AK.
The prices of food my I understand that is the money making feature.

This was a good value. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The cafe is excellent and the staff go out if their way to make everything great.
So rooms have TV, some don’t. While TV wasn’t important on this trip, it would be good to pay attention to this if you want TV. We were in two rooms: one very new and very nice, another a bit older and nice, but a little noisy. You could hear your neighbors most of the time. Finally, it’s about a 20 min drive to the park entrance. Not a showstopper, but good to know.

We did not do breakfast. But those parries and cinnamon roll looked great. We did lunch and dinner.
