Location, room cleanliness

Booked through booking.com. Initially booked with breakfast (had the booking confirmation), was enquiring with hotel through online messager n the next thing I know, the breakfast was removed from the rooms. Just in case the change never got registered into the system, I cancelled the rooms and did a fresh booking. When I arrived at the hotel, the hotel told me 2 of the 3 rooms I booked were supposed to check in the following day. This is in contrast with the booking confirmation from booking.com where it indicated 3 rooms of the same date. The whole booking process is a mess..

전망이 좋았어요! 리셉션이 고층에 있어 LA 전경이 한눈에 들어왔습니다. 아이들이 있어서 다운타운에서 밤에 돌아다니면 위험할수도 있어 야경을 볼수있는 숙소로 했어요! 방도 잘 정리되어 있고 전반적으로 쾌적한 숙소였습니다.

고층 리셉션이 장점이자 단점인데 방으로 가려면 꼭 리셉션을 들려서 다시 내려가야했습니다. 알고 예약한거라 괜찮았는데 몰릴때는 좀 기다려야해서 시간 여유를 가지고 움직여야할듯요.

The hotel Building its in a very nice Spot of the city Where you have nice Restuanrants around the building. there is a kind of shopping mall on the opposite side of the road which was really helpful. Rooms they were really great and the best thing I enjoyed everyday was the Top view of LA City it was absoultly amazing.

Your front desk staff seriously needs customer service training!! Prior to arrival I asked for an early check in (1pm) as we were attending an event. The first front desk clerk we spoke with didn't even greet us with a hello or a smile, just nodded his head to us in line. No greeting from anyone. He then told us we would have to pay an early check in fee- we had not been advised of this in advance. If your guest goes to the trouble of asking for this in advance, you should advise them in advance of any extra fees. He then summarily sent us over to a "supervisor" who was really of no help and told us the same thing. Again, no smile or welcome. Overall, not a great first impression. We won't be back.

Położenie w samym centrum LA, dobry punkt wypadowy na wycieczki po okolicy i nie tylko. Pokoje czyste i przestronne. Widoki super. Mieliśmy widok na Hollywood 👌 Personel pomocy i bardzo życzliwy. Śniadania bardzo bobre.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet services were also very convenient.

The area wasn't horrible but not far was skid row that looks worse than a third world country with addicts and blight for blocks in all directions.

Das Hotel liegt super in Downtown, wir konnten zu Fuß zum Basketball. Alles läuft über die Lobby in der 70. Etage. Ist etwas umständlich, geht aber immer schnell und dient eigentlich auch der Sicherheit. Gerade nachts ist es außerhalb des Hotels schon etwas „anders“. Das Gym ist eines der besten, was ich in Hotels bisher gesehen habe, auch der Pool ist schön angelegt. Essen etc. haben wir nicht im Hotel genutzt. Es ist ein Whole Foods in der Nähe und ein Einkaufszentrum und zum Frühstück gibts in der Nähe auch super açai bowls für 10$. Ich würde immer wieder dorthin gehen, der Blick auf LA ist super und im Vergleich zu den Hotels in Santa Monica finde ich es vom Preis-Leistung viel besser.

Auch in US scheint es PRobleme mit dem Servicepersonal zu geben, der Pool war am nächsten Morgen noch nicht von den liegengebliebenen Handtüchern und Restessen gesäubert. Das hat uns nicht großartig gestört, sollte aber natürlich nicht passieren.

Die Aussicht vom 69, 70 und 73 Stockwerk hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Gym ist für ein Hotel sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr schön beleuchtet.

Das Personal war nicht sehr hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmertelefon war defekt, auch nach mehrmaligen mitteilen an der Repzeption wurde nichts unternommen.

Room is a good size we enjoyed the stay there, but i was worried to keep my belongings indoors so every time i left the the hotel i had to pack and keep them so they can clean it.

Me (DURRAANI) and my wife stayed at IHG hotel LA downtown, we stayed there 4 days and went to Vegas. I am YouTube vlogger, and my channel is https://youtu.be/xR4SWzq-XBQ?si=WXRa50n2KHTLOTKo I left behind one of my expensive ‘Alexader McQueen’ T-shirt and since we come back to London, I am trying to contact them and no answer. I have also email them and email several of their department and no response. I have no other choice then giving them a bad review. I have recorded all my video and uploaded to the channel if you guys want to have a look. We pay more money and stay in this hotel only because of security and we believe we get back what we leave behind. The reason they take our details so they can contact us. They are quick enough to charge us for a small water bottle missing from the mini bar. But when we leave something no response. I’m not happy and will not leave it until I get my t-shirt back. If it is one of my cheap clothing, I won’t bother. This cost me over £360, and it is a gift from my wife. So, I want it back. It is very poor services for them to even getting back to the customers. I hope some one will get back to me on this. until than i have to do what i have to do

The breakfast was great 👍 and we enjoyed very much the hospitality. The view from the 69 floor was amazing. The pool was excellent with great views.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the views at check in on the 70th floor are amazing, the gym was state of the art, and the room was tidy and clean upon arrival with amazing views as well.

The hotel staff was on strike. The substitutes did their best but were mainly confused most of the time. Room service didn't show up. Once strike ended and original staff came back to work, even more confusion. Valet lost my key, valet supervisor then blamed me for leaving car and taking key, and then after 20 minutes of looking valet supervisor found my key, and had someone else deliver it to me, with no apology. No one at the hotel cared either.

The minimum purchase requirement at Spire 73 was frustrating. Don’t set limits on how much one has to spend to be there - It’s a turn off.
