Absolute Katastrophe, ich kann nur vor diesem Hotel warnen

Das Hotel bot ein Package an mit einem "Fabelhaften Frühstück", (unter ? als kontinentales Frühstück bezeichnet) welches 24€ teurer war als ein Angebot mit Frühstück und Dinner. Das ergab einen Preisunterschied von 50€ täglich. Das Hotel erklärte einfach, dass sie das Frühstück so nicht anbieten. Die Mitarbeiter haben uns zu möglichen Lösungen offen ins Gesicht gelogen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass wir daraufhin kostenlos an Lunch und Dinner teilnehmen können und nur die Getränke bezahlen müssten. Am Abreisetag wurden dann nicht gegengezeichnete Rechnungen für die Mahlzeiten präsentiert und uns die Abreise verweigert, so dass wir zusätzlich noch unseren Flug verpasst haben. Es wurden Belege zu Getränken vorgelegt, in denen statt vier Getränken sechs abgerechnet wurden. Eine Angestellte, die bezeugen konnte, dass die Manager das Angebot so ausgesprochen hatten, wurde im Anschluss massiv von 3 Angestellten bearbeitet, so dass sie ihre Aussage nicht wiederholte, als ich die Polizei zur Hilfe gerufen habe. Der Polizist bedrohte uns dann mehrfach damit, dass er uns zur Wache nehmen würde und wir dort über das Wochenende in einer Zelle auf dem Boden schlafen müssten, mit nur einem Eimer als Toilette. Ich habe dann eine Erklärung verfasst, dass ich nur unter der Bedrohung zahlen würde, worauf der Polizist uns wiederum mit der Haft drohte, so dass ich das Wort Bedrohung durchstrich und mit Protest ersetzte.

Dream garden is a place where value for your money meets your expectation.

We enjoyed best meals and a variety. Generally everything is excellently done

When I requested one of the staff at reception to add me 1hr to check out, the guy declined , he didn't seem to be understanding

Exceptional

We had a great time at Sandies Malindi Dream Garden. The staff is exceptional and they make you feel welcomed and at home. The rooms are quite big, fully equipped with all necessities and toiletries. The veranda is especially nice for relaxation and if you want some drink or food the pool bar is just 10 steps away. The food is great, reasonable variety and they change the menu every day. On Saturday the dinner was at the garden with a live band playing and that felts special. Spa is very good and has a wide range of services. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back again.

A very beautiful stay loved the breakfast, dinner, the bar and music

Breakfast was delicious just excellent! the staff were friendly the bed was large with a firm mattress with clean rooms. I loved dinner, we had many options and it was delicious. The pool was big and clean and so inviting and the gardens were well maintained

Bed pillows were a little bit uncomfortable

Exceptional

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early to freshen up etc. The service was exceptional as well throughout our stay. Overall, what i loved most about Sandies Malindi dream garden is its convenience since it's right next to the airport and at the beach front. The supporting staff were very active and engage you with activities at the beach and pool games which are children friendly. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. I got to relax and unwind.

Very good

The service was exceptional. The location is a perfect escape. The community around is very friendly. The transportation crew is very safe and considerate. You really don't need a guide if you opt to use the Bajajs or Tuk Tuks outside or Taxis inside the resort.

The dessert options are very limited for sweet toothed people.

AVERAGE HOTEL

The location was superb.

The food not standard of a 4 star hotel. Check Inn took almost an hour. Hotel didn't have a Check Inn reception. One has to walk to the adjacent sister facility to check Inn. So luggage moved to the other hotel reception and then back to this hotel. Water very salty.

Superb

The staff were quite friendly. My stay was particularly made quite good by Pharrel & Shaban who were the life of the party. Duncan was also quite warm and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay.

The food was good but abit repetitive. They can do better.

mediocre- not a 4 star hotel

Hotel Staff at the restaurant are very nice, garden and swimming pools nice but water in the pool very hot. Bathroom needs a good scrub (see pic) a bit shameful for a 4 star hotel - I have seen hostels with better bathrooms. Didn’t let us pay with Amex even tho they said it was possible . One guy at the reception told us we could have lunch before leaving, as our taxi was coming at 4 pm, then they charged us, also came to us saying :”we checked the security cameras and you had lunch when you arrived so now you need to pay”- really??? Are we criminals that you checked the security cameras?? - for all we paid (1100 dollars for 4 nights - they should have not charged us for the lunch!!!) not to mention one day we were out all day so we didn’t have lunch at the hotel. The main issue is that they should have told us in advance that lunch had to be paid for not after, and when we booked the taxi they implied lunch was included. Also 50 dollars for a buffet, water and a Fanta. The guy that I think is in charge of the trips (Ali) came to us asking if we wanted to book a boat trip or something and when we said we had one already booked with someone external he was quite annoyed and complaint that tourists come here with trips already booked. I found it a bit odd and he was a bit aggressive. On a positive note we told the hotel it was our honeymoon so they decorated our bed and during our first dinner we had a little celebration.

lovely stay. Highly recommend

The location is a 15 mim cab ride from Malindi airport. The property is large and check in is pretty standard. The staff were efficient, friendly and quite helpful.Beach access was a plus.Food selection was good and the food quite tasty. I used their spa and their hydrotherapy pool is a good option.

Very good

Nice Garden and swimming pool view,the coordination of guest activities from morning to the evening,Children had an attendant for swimming pool activities from 10am ,the food was awesome and the warmly experience from the all the staffs. The Onda hotel near the beach,I will miss the nice lunch. Definitely a place to come back again and refer my friends.

Pleasant

I liked the location and proximity to the beach. I loved the Saturday dinner with live band music that was set up. The food was amazing and the staff ready to assist on any requests that we had.

The check in process took longer than anticipated considering our flight had delayed. Expected better preparation on that. Looked like there was only one staff who was attending to all the guests arriving and he looked overwhelmed. The hotel needs to change their napkins, bedsheets as they are well past their usage. I think they can do a better job with that. The furniture also needs to be fixed. The seat in our room was torn and the bed kept squeaking.
