Beautiful stay, great location

Great location in Camps Bay, very close to the beach, Lions head and table mountain. We enjoyed the private terrace, swimming pool and stunning view. Also great for working, as the place is not affected by load shedding. The host, Toby, also provided us with lots of local tips, which was great as it was our first time in Cape Town.

Superb, immaculate apartment with a sea view

This studio apartment is fantastic! The location is great & I felt very safe within the apartment. You are just a short walk through a beautiful glen to Camps Bay where you can find bars, restaurants, mini supermarkets, a theatre, a beach and the hop on and off bus. The apartment would suit a solo traveller, two friends or a couple. Beautifully designed interior and immaculately clean. And, an incredible view of the sea. Air conditioning, extra blankets for cooler nights, hairdryer and iron and ironing board and a safe, all included. The hop on and off bus is a great way to see Cape Town and to get your bearings. Then take an Uber or hire a car to go further afield or return to the places you liked the look of.

It is actually cheaper to eat out than to cook, so I tended to eat out. The kitchenette has a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge, so perfect to have breakfast and snacks. I don't really have any dislikes - you do have to be vigilant in Cape Town and in Camps Bay too, especially if you are on your own but that takes nothing away from the great time I had staying at Horizon Bay!

Beautiful location, cozy studio apartment in the heart of Camps Bay

Beautiful studio apartment with views, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster/tea/coffee), storage and a full bathroom with shower and bath. 7 min walk via the park to Camps Bay beach and the grocery stores/bars/restaurants and when you exit apartment and look up you have a premium view of Table Mountain. I loved it and felt very secure there. The location could not have been better as I was never more than a 15 minute Uber from anywhere I needed to be but I was still staying on a quiet street.

perfect spot for staying in camps bay! Hosts were so lovely and helpful with everything!

Great space to stay for a few days!

Would have benefitted from a washing machine but other than that it was excellent!

Exceptional

Toby is the perfect hostess who was always there if we had a need but left us alone at other times. The perfect balance. The location was first class and having constant power because of the inverter meant we did not suffer from load shedding. Also the WiFi was first class. Great speed. The accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed. The pool is well looked after and the water was like a bath. The views from the pool are to die for! Really had a wonderful time here!

Lovely, well equipped stay with amazing views, location and host

We had an amazing time at Horizon Bay Views. Toby was a lovely host. She answered all questions we had and assisted us in any way she could. The Apartement is nicely furnished. It has everything we needed, with a well equipped small kitchen area, heater, hairdryer and even an ironing board etc.. Big Bonus is that the Guesthouse has a converter, so that there's still electricity, even when there is loadshedding in the area. We especially loved the outdoor area where you could watch the sun set over Camps Bay and also see Lionshead and Table Mountain with the Cable Car Station on top. We found the location also very nice with restaurants, shops and the beach in walking distance, Cape Town city center is also just a short uber ride away. We can recommend staying at Horizon Bay Views, if you want to enjoy the amazing views and landscape in Cape Town and like restaurants etc in walking distance. We would stay there again if we come to the Mother City of beautiful South Africa with all its friendly people.

The place was far from the beach, too many rules for 1 small room.the garage was always opened .they said they have a celebration 🍾 I must not go out coz of that.so I want not happy at all

Excellent stay close to Camps Bay beach!

Excellent location close to the hustle and bustle of camps bay. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Great communication with host before and at checkin. Lovely room with small kitchen, nice bathroom, perfect for our 2 days stay but easily could have stayed longer. Lovely to be able to use sun loungers by the pool for late afternoon sundowners!

Lovely place to stay - highly recommend

Amazing place to stay - clean, great location, friendly owner, wish we could have stayed longer in the end. The pool area is beautiful with nice loungers, flowers, great view of the ocean.

the pool area was restricted at night as when she needed to go to bed or work etc she switched the pool lights off .She had a fit when she came into our room which i feel was wrong. we were in a rush and left our makeup in the counter and the email/text she sent was OTT a big turn off made us uncomfortable. the beach is not as close as it looks in the pictures its quite a walk and the worst when coming back as its uphill!

Great place to work and relax in Camps Bay

The room is part of a gorgeous family home but it has enough privacy to make you feel like you have your own apartment. The swiming pool and the views are outstanding. It has a desk, a chair and good internet so is the perfect place for working remotely. The owners are very friendly and they will assist you with anything you may need.

The house is very well located but you still a 10-15min steep walk down and back up to get to the restaurants. This is a common issue in most accomodations in Camps Bay as the area is on a hill.

Amazing apartment

Great apartment! Very nice and amazing view:) Very safety area. The host (Tobby) was very friendly, nice and caring. It was very comfortable for us to stay in this apartment. Clean and well equipped kitchen. I have visited a lot of different countries and cities, but CapeTown was able to surprise me positively. And as for my opinion CapeTown is the best city for a comfortable life and aesthetic pleasure. I highly recommend to visit:)

just want to come again

A charming place with a charming owner, everything nice, clean and comfortable. A very nice view from the terrace. and the owner is a really kind person, we hadn’t known anything about PCR-tests in Cape Town, so she did a research for us and found all the information out. Thank you very much Toby!!!

Best working holiday!

Excellent location. Walking distance to the beachfront through a lovely and safe area. I was on a working holiday and extra care was taken to ensure I had a comfortable working space. The view from my desk ensured that I didn't miss the ocean while stuck in conference calls. The hosts were incredible and accommodating. If ever I returned for a Camps Bay visit, I would book here again.

I can't say there was anything poor or bad about Horizon Bay.
