Nice Riad Moroccan style, very clean, staff nice and helpful, they make you feel at home. Delicious breakfast!
The way to get to the Riad is a bit confusing, you wouldn’t imagine this nice Riad is hidden inside the medina and it’s mazes.

besides from the breakfast, I did not like anything
So much I did not like. It was advertised online that there is parking but that was very far from the truth. When we got there we called the host and they said they will meet us at the parking lot. There was no parking lot, it was a very bad mess. There were people telling us where to park haggling with us while in the car and asking us to park in a certain way. The host shows up and doesn't do anything. we ended up parking there and paying the guy 40 Dirhams for 2 days (ended up leaving only after one night). The host recommended a restaurant but it was very bad and pretty expensive. He also recommended a guide for next day which cost us $50 and the guide only took us to shops where we felt very uncomfortable because we were haggled so much to buy things from them. And the guide just waited outside.

Being inside medina. The staff specially Smile and Ayman were very helpful and obliging. The terrace rooms were excellent. Aymen took extra trouble to make our breakfast a special meal every day of our stay. A unique experience to live inside the medina.
Unfortunately there were no tea coffe facilities in the room.

I liked my stay and Ismail was amazing and very friendly. He accomodated me and made the stay very pleasant. The hotel is nicely located and it's a nice walk around in the Madina, close to the Zawiya, the main Mosque and all the shops.

Superb accommodation, ideally situated in the medina. Easy access with luggage and close to heart of medina. Very friendly staff, always wanting to assist and top suggestions (even arranged guidance going and back to restaurant).
Beautiful inner court, nice atmosphere, rooms perfectly in order. Recommended!

A nice riad, well located near the souk. Very kind, available staff.
All the stairs in the riad are narrow and steep which could be a problem for some people. Also one of the two bedrooms we had was very tiny

The alley in which the Riad Is located Is quite dirty

Riad was very beautiful and clean. The breakfast is traditional and delicious. Staff was very helpful, Ismail organized a taxi to the airport for us in 3am and woke up to walk us to the car. Ismail also printed our boarding tickets, as Fez airport does only accept printed ones. The view from room was also amazing - it looked over the pool.

breakfast was good, the staff was accommodating and kind.
They got us a tour guide which was a total waste of money. The guide only focused on taking us to shopping places where he was frustrated if we did not buy anything. He took us only to the so near places and missed a lot more with barely small descriptions.
The place is nice, but if they really care about the reputation they should stop such a business inside business stuff, which was basically a scam not even a business!!!
Another point about the pool is cold, which is petty to not being able to swim.

Ismail at the front desk when I got there was very helpful and recomended a guide to take me around the medina since I was by myself. The guide was amazing and took me some places I would have never found by myself. The next morning I was leaving early to meet up with a tour group and they made me a breakfast to take with me and walked me to find a taxi since one could not reach the hotel. The hotel itself was also beautiful and very comfortable with a rooftop area.
The walls were very thin and I could hear the people in the room next to me talkng at night and I'm sure they could hear my alarm go off early in the morning.

breakfast was normal, we were expecting a generous breakfast with a lot of variety, we are talking about 4 stars Riad..big interrogation about it, the location not easy to rich even the parking was a nightmare. I will never turn back to Fes again. what a delusion holiday.

My mother and I stayed here during our visit to Fes and ended up with the two top-floor rooms to ourselves, interconnecting. It was fantastic! The beds were very comfortable, water nice and hot, and view from the terrace spectacular. I particularly enjoyed being able to open the door and let the sun flood in directly onto my bed while I worked or relaxed. The staff were also very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
What I didn't realise was that this place is in the centre of the old Medina, which is a privilege to be able to experience - but before you book, understand that you will be awoken at 6am for about 45 minutes by multiple calls to prayer from a multitude of nearby mosques. ;) After the first day, when we knew to expect it, it was fine - but I had no idea what was going on the first time, and we ended up feeling very tired for our full-day tour the next day.
It also would have been nice if there were a few more windows, so that we could let some natural light in without needing to leave the door open. We also needed to leave our rooms and go onto the terrace, or downstairs to the reception, to have a reliable WiFi connection.

Staff helped us with every question we had about the medina, like: what to see, where to eat, to take a taxi,...
The breakfast was good and more than enough!
Our room was located directly next to the little pool downstairs. So if the airco was turned off, the humidity in the room was very high.

Location ok for shopping .
Not a good place to stay if you are elderly or trouble walking.as the steps to your accommodation are steep. If you are over 6ft you won't be able to have a shower as your head will hit the ceiling. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Mattress needs replacing as it was sunken. The Breakfast was not great.
Location is terrible if you want to go out for dinner, as most restaurants are on the other side of the Medina, which is a 15 minute walk. It's OK during the day but feels unsafe walking through at night as most of it is closed and dark

Le Cédre d'argent is a Riad located in the middle of the Fez medina in an authentic residential area. The Riad is well sign posted and easy to access from the main vehicle access point -a rarity in the labyrinth that is Fez.
The external entrance is located in a dingy-looking small street, but once inside the Riad magic operates as the traditional tiled courtyard is magnificent with a small pool -which we used.
The rooms are spacious and clean with tiled traditional bathrooms -not very large, but clean, functional and oozing charm. Air conditioning is modern and good and the rooms are absolutely quiet.
There is a relaxing rooftop terrace which gives a panoramic view on the whole city -highly recommend.
Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is plentiful and healthy.
The most outstanding feature is the kindness and helpfulness of Ismail and the team -always ready to lend advice, organize a guide or dinner, wash laundry and organize transportation. Warm smiles and always there, they made a great stay exceptional.

Breakfast was great, Ismail gave great recommendations regarding visitation and restaurants. As we were two girls he showed us the way for dinner and arranged someone who would lead us back to riad. Assistance from manager was great, including assistance with bag or printing boarding passes.

This place is a hidden gem preserving the old architecture outside which is impressive as it is on the oldest street of the old town. Inside its a beautiful place and most importantly the people there are amazingly friendly. The host Ismail was superb and very helpful with everything. we were only going to stay the 2 nights but he was so nice that we will book the last night in Fes to be able
to have a nice cup of tea with him. the ladies at the kitchen were also very friendly and the food was delicious. Breakfast of a King!
I really cannot think of anything

VERY DISAPOINTED, DONT RECOMMAND IT AT ALL! Terrible experience. First to get there it was really complicated. Very bad access. Poor comunication with the landlord. Took us 40 minutes to get there. Receptionist not sympatic at all. Pictures doesnt reflect reality. A lot of noise .. Had to leave before our stay was over ..

The riad has a unique traditional style and has a good location in the middle of the old Medina.
Unfortunately owners do not take good care of the place. Our toilet was stinky which you could smell in the whole room when we first entered which is a bit offputting and nobody cared to at least open windows beforehand or put some perfume in the room.
We have been staying in a lot of riads during our trip, but here was the most disappointing breakfast. Instead of fresh orange juice which seems to be a standard in Morocco we got some orange lemonade served in a glass to pretend to be orange juice instead. This appears to be a bit cheap and looks like they are trying to save at the wrong end.
All of those are small things, but combined with the owners who really don‘t seem to care about you at all (no support regarding where to park and how to get to the riad, no support regarding how to find your way through the medina, only wanted to sell you on a tour guide) this was quite a mediocre experience compared to other riads we stayed at.
