I loved everything about our stay! Jana and simo are two of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. Jana equipped me the first day with everything I needed and needed to know about the city. They were so incredibly helpful and kind even preparing breakfast early for us since we had tours. The place is also beautiful and quiet which was much appreciated compared to the hustle of Marrakesh. You are robbing yourself if you stay anywhere else.

Amazing! This is the best word to define our stay! Since the first day booking our vacations on this Riad, Jana helped us a lot sending all important information about Marrakech, places to visit, transfere, everything! She put us very confortable!
When we arrive she also prepared our days helping us define day by day.
About Riad is so lovely and confortable, Jana and Simon will make sure you feel the Riad is your home.
The breakfast is different everyday with local food, very good! The location is good, calm, and 10 minutes walking to the centre of Medina.

A beautiful oasis. Jana and Simone went out of their way to look after us. Always going the extra mile. Would highly recommend.
We were about 20 minutes walk from the centre of the Medina, which suited us. We were in a part of the Medina were the people of Marrakesh live and work. interesting to observe life in the Medina which was not geared to tourists.

An absolute highlight of all the places we stayed at during our moroccan trip. Beautifully decorated authentic Riad with artistic touch, very clean, excellent breakfast on the rooftop. The location is also very good - quiet and full of local not touristic life, at the same time easy going to all the main attractions. But what make it really special is Jana and Simo, the owners, people who will surround you with care, give precious advices and a good insight about life in the country. Definitely recommend.

Amazing hosts (Jana and Simo), enthusiastic and very knowlegable about Marrakesh, and truly helpful - it is their home and they make you feel like you belong!!! The place is a beautiful riad in a very interesting part of the old town - a bit off the very center; the area is full of metal worshops and it not at all touristic. The riad is very quite and is very authentic while being really comfortable and just great. Breakfast is also fantastic, different every day, local/international, fresh and prepared with love!

Outside of the hustle and bustle of the old city, as soon as you step into the Riad it was calming and tranquil.
The recommendations from the hosts were unbelievably excellent, we had the best pizza ever, amazing Lebanese, wonderful food and things to do!
The breakfast was a healthy spread of food and was different each day! It was very very nice!
The rooms are clean and cleaned each day.
Can not wait to return and will be recommending to all of our friends and family!

rooms could do with more optional light, was hard to see inside the rooms at times, but if you’re looking for something dark and cosy, the African room is the one for you.

The hosts were so so friendly and helpful with everything. We are glad to meet them. The room was atmospheric like the whole riad. The music that it has was so relaxing.

Very nice and cosy riad with a lot of atmosphere. The hosts are perfect and make you very much feel at home. Be aware that this an actual riad in private housing complex. You will not find it on your own but the hosts will help you and pick you up. There is a parking garage next to the riad, which is nice. Compared to the standard the price is on the higher side but the atmosphere is more than worth it.

All the staffs were friendly and Hannah was very helpful and accommodating. They serve nice tea and breakfast. Water is always refilled in the room. The rooms are very affordable.
It was a bit far from the city center but if you don’t mind walking for 15 mins or more, it wouldn’t be a problem.

Great location - peaceful but an easy walk to the hustle and bustle of the main medina. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and definitely made our stay super easy! Breakfast tasty and plentiful.

The host was so accomodating. Gave us so many tips and tricks on how to act in Marakkesh, as it's a very touristic city and local people enjoy playing games with tourists.
We had a room with 2 separate beds (africa) and it was very clean, sheets smelled so nice. Beds were very comfortable.

We spend an amazing stay in the Agua Viva Riad in Marrakech. The Riad is like a little piece of paradise, very typical from Morocco with its beautiful rooms, its little pool, its smell of essence, its light and all its beautiful flowers (specially the new little roses). We loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this place.
Moreover what we preferred in our stay was the host couple, so welcoming and kind with us. We really felt like we were at home. Jana is the most wonderful guide of Marrakech, she taught us how to negotiate and deal with people in the street, and all the little tips and details we have to know about the city. Thank you so much for your advices and your kindness. Simon is the greater chef of the city (and we tested a lot of restaurants). Indeed, he’s cooking the most delicious tajine in town. Thank you so much for your delicious meals, breakfasts and little attentions.

Everything. The treatment from Jana and Simon is a luxury. The space is beautiful and sparkling clean. The rooms (since I stayed in two) were outstanding and the decoration pretty stylish. The location is perfect.

We loved everything about our time at Riad Aguaviva, and couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s a hidden gem right in the medina, spotlessly clean, with a calming atmosphere that is exactly what you need after a long day in Marrakech. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, Jana is so nice and will take the time every day to give the best tips for a great experience in the Medina. I am celiac, so am on a very strict gluten free diet, and breakfast at the Riad was one of my favourite moments of the trip. The staff cooked me delicious gluten free dishes different every day. I even asked for recipes as will definitely try to make them at home. Thank you, Jana, Simo & Fatima! We will be back!

The breakfast was amazing and the space even more, but the staff was beyond everything else. Hanna and Simon made our entire trip so special. The location may seem scary at first, but it is very safe. A short walk from the Medina, which we did not mind because we did not want to be in the craze of it.

Our stay was during the beginning of the Covid fears so tensions were high in the city, however the staff ensured that our stay made us feel welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we were safe within the city and wouldn’t get lost. If was my partners birthday during the stay as well and they made sure it was special.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful, they gave us a lot tips of transport and visiting. I’d recommend you get private airport pickup from Riad as the location is quiet hidden. To walk to medina it’s about 15-20 minutes. Breakfast is till 11pm, Riad even packed our breakfast for our day trip. We had a great time, it was sad to leave. Thank you!

Generally: The only problem I have is my own mistake not to stay longer. This riad is a true beauty, with a special eye on details (like fresh roses everywhere, even rose petals in the water), spotlessly clean, comfortable and relaxing. Staff is super nice and helpful and can give so much advice. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and you could tell, everybody did their best to make sure, the guests will enjoy their stay. My room had the capability of transfering me into another world for a night. Everything was well designed and furnished. The mattress could have actually been a little firmer, but I slept very well. Bathroom is well equipped and I especially loved the amenities, all of which had the delicious scent of roses. If I come back to Marrakech again, and I am pretty sure, I will, I would definitiely consider Riad Aquaviva to be my place to be, again. I thank Jana very much for her kindness and help to get along in the city and also for her really good restaurant recommendation. Go on like this, you really have a special place!
In Particular: I have had some trouble after check-out in the evening as my rental car had a flat tyre and my credit card was declined by the ATMs. As I didn't know who else to contact, when my bank customer service proofed to be useless, staff member Amin went out of his way to make sure I could go on with my trip. It was exceptional help and kindness, he truly was my saviour in a very unpleasant situation! What I received was extraordinary help for sure. I thank you so much!

We were welcomed from the moment our taxi dropped us off by Shimon, we were helped with our bags to a short walk (we prearranged airport pick up and at the airport somebody had our riad details of an iPad, it's better to prearrange the taxi will know where to go directly). As you approach the Riad from the hustle and bustle of the Medina you crouch down and walk down what you think is an alley...... Don't worry.....You reach the Riad door and then heaven awaits... Upon arrival at Riad Aguaviva you are made to feel welcome and at home.
Jana welcomed us, let us settle and to a lovely glass of Maroccan tea told us about the Riad, how not to get lost in the Medina and how to deal with the locals (especially the young) she told us to feel at home and asked if we were ready to be shown the journey from the left and right of leaving the Riad.
Hubby and I were taken to the land marks which was very straight forward (but take careful note of the instructions). Jana will give you maps, a photobook and tell you to download 'Maps Me'.
After freshening up we ventured out for a short walk and with Jana's instructions found our way back easily.
We stayed for dinner the first night at the Riad it was delicious, relaxed and paddled our feet in the cool riad small pool. The riad has many seating areas from inside the courtyard to the terrace.
WiFi is instantly available, there is constant hot water (but be aware anywhere in Morocco you will need to let the hot tap run a good while before it gets hot water). After the first bottle of water is drunk in your riad room which is provided you are able to buy water and soft drinks throughout your stay and order food in advance or ask for pizza delivery as an option for example.
We ate at Limoni a local cafe about a 10min walk from the Riad and easy to find. The food there is delicious and the cafe is beautiful.
There is nothing not to like. You will love it!
