Beautiful riad in good location

The riad is beautiful and the staff here are phenomenal - nothing is too much trouble! The breakfast is excellent and the rooftop terrace is beautiful.

We had an issue with the noise from our air conditioner the first night but the young man we spoke to the following morning addressed it immediately.

Fabulous stay and I just wished I had stayed an extra night or two to fully enjoy it.

We had a fabulous stay the staff were very attentive. The Riad was beautifully designed and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Best Riad in Marrakech Medina area!

The Riad is beautiful and kept to a high standard. It's in a great location within the main Medina and walking distance to many of the attractions. The staff and managers of the Riad are the most hospitable people I've come across in my travels. So caring, had fantastic recommendations and looked after us throughout our stay.

That we couldn't stay longer. Wish we could have stayed the whole duration as it was fully booked.

Well designed comfortable large and clean riad experience

Room was so spacious for a riad especially bathroom could be counted as huge. Bed was comfy and toilet was so clean. You feel a bit luxurious feeling overall. Staff was great and so helpful. Especially Younes made us feel so secure. Owners were so kind. I would definitely recommend you to stay

Being in the heart of medina maybe a little bit difficult for some people but staff helped us much

Unique and good value for money

Amazing service, free water, and very unique setting and comfort levels. I did like also the washroom and the general cleanliness level was great. Plus there was breakfast

we decided not to stay here. really not what we needed in an open restaurant plus the fact it was just not for us. we changed hotels

Exceptional experience

We would highly recommend this Riad, the staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived they could not do enough for us, unfortunately I was ill on our first day (we arrived the evening before) and the staff went out of their way to provide me with anything I needed, they went to the pharmacy and collected some antibiotics for me and would check on me throughout the day to see if there was anything they could do for me - unbelievable!!!! The meals were fantastic and the view from the rooftop area amazing, the bed was supper comfortable and the bathroom facilities amazing... I can not fault this accommodation but I can not praise it enough either. The location is fantastic, close to Jemaa el Fna square and all the souks (stalls) which is a must see at night (walking distance). We would recommend taking the option of transport offered by the Riad from the train or airport to avoid any unpleasant experiences with taxi drivers and locals trying to help you (keep in mind everyone expects a tip, even for directions) - if you are planning a trip to Marrakech we would highly recommend this accommodation!!!!!

The room took a bit of time to cool down after turning the air conditioner on and the main area of the Riad is quiet warm and humid - it isn't enclosed so it would be too difficult to air condition but maybe some fans might be a good suggestion... these are not faults by any means

Never regret! Excellent Riad

The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. They provided us with all the information about Marrakech such as the way to attractions, what I have to be careful about and etc. The room was clean and tidy. Plus, design of the room, lobby and roof top were excellent. I want to try to stay in other rooms as well.

very well maintained and beautifull riaad, of only 7 rooms. Very friendly staff who took care of everything during our stay

its may sometimes be a bit noisy in the streets late at night or early morning, but that’s life in the medina

Everything. great design. beautifully thought through for looks and function. extremely helpful staff.

we had an early breakfast so perhaps it was not as complete as the regular breakfast. cereal choices and crepes were good as was the selection of preserves, but no fruit, pastries, eggs or salad.

Outstanding and stunning riad in Marrakech old town.

This was probably the nicest place I have stayed anywhere in the world. Beautifully decorated, very unique and just an amazing experience. The room, a large suite, was fantastic. The bed was incredibly comfortable and large. The bathroom was enormous and very exquisite. We had a beautiful and filling breakfast. I would say this was the best accommodation in Marrakech for the price, just outstanding.

If there was one thing, it would be the street noise from outside, as we stayed on a very busy Sunday. But to be honest it didn't disturb us, and we slept like babies

Amazing stay in this beautiful Riad!

I recently stayed in this Riad with my friend and we had the most wonderful time! The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly, the room was huge, immaculately clean and the Riad itself was beautiful. The complimentary breakfast spread was absolutely delicious and fresh, there was always a lot of variety. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of lovely touches such as robes and toiletries. Overall we would recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakech!

There was sometimes lots of outside noise but this is very common within the Medina and it was not the fault of the hotel, more of a note!

Very pretty.

Beautifully decorated. Felt quite opulent. Staff very friendly. Tasty breakfast. Made to feel welcome. Good quality towels and furnishings.

There wasn't much sound proofing (simply nature of building). There wasn't a TV to watch in my room but I can live with that. They didn't tell me it's much cheaper to take a taxi than arrange for an airport transfer.

La Claire Fontaine is a jewel in the crown of Marrakech. We certainly plan to return.

The property was quite superb. It was a perfect combination of chic and comfort in a convenient location. The facilities and the staff were excellent. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay a pleasant one and nothing was too much trouble for them in making our stay a delight. Overall, an excellent experience on our first, but certainly not our last, visit to Marrakech and La Claire Fontaine.

I cannot fault the property in any way, it was a delightful base for our stay in Marrakech.

Fabulous riad in the centre of Marrakesh

You will not be disappointed!!!!

Stay here! It is beautiful!! Really beautiful. I travel internationally and for work in the US and can say this has been my favorite place to stay. Wonderful location. Right outside the market/Medina. Staff and owners are helpful, kind, thoughtful.... like family. Really beautiful rooms, clean. Center glass dome allowing natural light. Incredible rooftop terrace with great views. I loved La Claire Fontaine.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed!

This was one of my all time favourite stays - it’s even more beautiful in person, incredibly peaceful, the staff are wonderful and the location is great. We walked everywhere from the riad without needing taxis and there are some fantastic restaurants located within 10 minutes. We will definitely be returning! A big thank you to all of the staff for making our trip so special.

It wasn’t an issue but it’s good to know that tap water can’t be drunk and you will have one free bottle from the riad a day - otherwise it’s best to buy bottles from the local vendors just a 1 minute walk from the front door 😊

Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

Excellent position for exploring Medina area. Beautifully presented Riad, with staff taking pride in their hospitality. We had a pre booked three course meal for our first night especially cooked fresh for us - excellent. Rooms were very spacious clean and comfortable and daily maintenance was excellent. Lovely roof terrace and tasteful lounge area. Breakfast represented local produce as well as catering for all tastes with continental flavours and eggs cooked to order.

The staff were all really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Plenty choice for breakfast. The whole place was spotless. A lovely roof terrace to relax on. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Lovely Riad, not the most relaxing break

The staff were amazing - so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was beautifully presented and had plenty of choice. Beds were really comfortable and bathroom was great Whole place was well kept and very clean

The Riad was tricky to find - definitely book the transfer because the taxi cannot stop close by. Our ground floor room was quite noisy, especially from the constant motorbikes, cats screeching and kids playing immediately outside our window (We were unaware that there are very few bars and restaurants in the medina that serve alcohol - book a hotel outside if you enjoy wine with your dinner.)

Fantastic place!

Everything was wonderful! The best thing about this hotel is how helpful and kind the owners and staff are. Really they couldn't do enough to help us, with advice, booking excursions, dinner reservations, the airport transfer and Naima even woke up very early to make sure our airport transfer was ok to return home. Thank you so much to Naima, Henning and Soulaimane, all brilliant! The hotel is like a peaceful haven in a location very close to the busy Medina. The room we stayed in was so quiet, comfy and always very clean. The dinner in the hotel was fantastic, great value and delicious. The breakfast was also very good with local fruits and breads, eggs. Just lovely!

I liked everything! I wish the weather had been better the week I was here because I would have loved to sit on their roof top terrace and relax, it's a beautiful space but the weather was quite rainy that week. The roof had tables, chairs and sun loungers, would be perfect in warm weather!

In the small streets behind a beautiful door is a gorgeous palace. Luxury vacations behind the wall

The breakfast was excellent quality, to say something to improve ...for four days the buffet was good but always the same, however, one day we ordered eggs and they provided them. We appreciated the fresh fruit very much and the finest way it was served. We like the elegant atmosphere of the riad, the architecture of the place, and the spectacular cupula. The service was great from Amine and Souloimane. They attended to any and every request.

The location was not as expected, but easy to find when you understand The Medina. The terrace is fantastic but the weather was cold and we didn't have a chance to enjoy the view of the Atlas. (no one's fault!!) Our bedroom, Badi Suit, was dark with no daylight as it was on the ground floor with small windows, but it was not our first selection, it was the only one available.
