Riad en medio de la medina. Difícil ubicación. Personal encantador

La dueña nos atendió súper bien y fue encantadora.

El riad está en medio de la medina y es difícil llegar a él. Por la noche todavía da un poco más de reparo. Al riad le falta un poco de luz y de decoración en el patio interior.

Riad de ensueño, amplia habitación y personal encantadores

El personal es encantador y te ayudan con todo lo que necesites. La habitación es todo lo que imaginas en un Riad superando las espectativas, es preciosa como el resto de la construcción. Situado en plena Medina pero muy tranquilo.

Nada del Riad, todo es fantástico. A modo informativo para el resto de viajeros para el resto de viajeros cuidado con la facturación del billete de vuelta para quien vuele en avión que el aeropuerto de Tetuán no tiene billete digital y hay que imprimirlo lo que supuso un quebradero de cabeza a última hora.

Una auténtica experiencia en un Riad

Era la primera vez en un Riad y me gustó mucho. La arquitectura y decoración es increíble, así como el ambiente que crea este alojamiento. Recomendable totalmente si quieres vivir una auténtica experiencia en Tetuán.

Estancia maravillosa

Nos gusto todo. Desde el Riad , hasta las habitaciones , la ubicación , la comida y sobre todo la amabilidad y hospitalidad con la que nos han tratado. Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en este Riad , y he de decir que te sientes como en casa. Gracias Ruth , un abrazo desde Almeria.

Mehdi, Farah, and Lubka(?) are wonderful. Pleasant, helpful and very kind. Very clean with quality bedding. There is a man, Mohammed, who assists with guests finding their way around the medina. Very nice and always there when needed. Roof top terrace is lovely in the evening.

The room was really nice and the Riad is very pretty and well taken care. Farah and Mohammed (“Alles klar” like he told people call him) made us feel really welcome. The Riad is in the Medina really central. Mohammed and Farah made sure we knew how to move around in the Medina and gave nice recommendations. We definitely recommend and will be back when back in Tetouan!

fabulous!

a beautifully preserved road and oasis of tranquility. great breakfast. Farah and Mehdi were great hosts. they known all about Tetouan and arrange a guide if wanted at a reasonable price. we came to buy traditional artisan works and they advised about prices.

the riad is on the old Medina and to reach it you have to walk a short distance through the souk. Best to call them in advance of your arrival They ensure a guide will pick you up, lead you to a nearby parking and leads you to the road, also carrying your luggage.

The Riad is simply beautiful and very quiet. The rooms are very comfy and the breakfast very good. When you will arrive the first day, Mohamed will pick you up to take you inside the intricate Medina. He will help you to visit the old city, find a good restaurant, discover the best rooftop to take nice pictures.

The room was difficult to get warm in a cold night and there were windows that never shaded the light away specially during the night making it more difficult to sleep ( besides the cold room)

A fantastic piece of architecture without any human touch

The riad is located at the very centre of the old city. The structure is magnificent, an ancient building which has been exquisitely renovated. Our room was spacious, with very high ceilings and spotlessly clean. The riad is a bit difficult to locate, but the staff will kindly offer to pick you up from any of the medina’s gates.

Unfortunately the way the riad is run doesn’t do justice to this architectural beauty. Apart from the cleaning, which was spotless, the rest of the service was minimum and at times careless, without any of the little touches - a welcome tea, a few smiles - that make Moroccan riads so unique and homey. The riad is a no smoking facility, yet we could constantly smell smoke coming up from the reception area and seeping into the room. On our last night we started hearing hammers from a nearby workshop just after midnight, yet it took us quite a bit of insistence to convince the woman managing the night shift to change our room, so that we could sleep. This would have been a no-brainer in most structures, yet she kept on insisting it “wasn’t her problem”, with a stunning lack of human touch that left us feel so unwelcome. Service at breakfast was hasty and not particularly warm. The general feeling is that the place is being run with the minimum possible effort. This lack of care makes the riad ultimately lifeless, and the atmosphere not particularly pleasant.

A gem of a stay within the hidden gem that is Tetouan.

Riad El Manantial is a beautiful location run by the most hospitable guests. The building itself is exquisite and artful with comfortable and luxurious rooms. Despite this, the staff were the highlight of the stay. Their generosity and attention to need was unrivaled and genuine. Mohammed came out to meet us and made sure to show and explain to us around every part of the medina. Fahra was an incredibly kind and attentive hostess. The owner, Mutawassim, even drove us to the bus station upon our departure. Our stay at Riad El Manantial was an absolute pleasure and I will be sure to stay here again when I come back to Tetouan.

This was a memorable experience at a gorgeous Moroccan palace in the heart of the Medina.

This is a one of a kind hotel in the middle of the old medina in Tetouan. There are only 5 large guest rooms that include private baths. The hotel is actually a gorgeous old Moroccan palace transformed into an awesome bed and breakfast. The owner and his family run the hotel and make you feel as if you are part of their family. When we arrived, Fara, the owner's sister, sat down with us to enjoy the traditional Moroccan tea. It was a good opportunity for us to ask any questions about Tetouan and Moroccan culture. She was leaving about an hour later and her nephew, Mehedi came on duty. He was equally as welcoming and both felt like they were our family members welcoming us to their beautiful house. We also met the owner who was extremely kind as well. Mohammed took our luggage from the Taxi and walked us to the hotel from the main entrance of the Medina about a 5 min walk. He was so kind to point out all of the highlights along the way. Once we got checked in, Mohammed was our fabulous tour guide for the rest of the afternoon. The next morning we truly enjoyed a lovely Moroccan breakfast at the hotel. We took so many beautiful photos inside this beautiful palace and in Tetouan as well. T

Absolutely perfect stay, very emphatic and welcoming host and beautiful riad.

Mutawassim was an exceptional host, very flexible, hospitable, accommodating and emphatic. The riad and its rooms are very clean, very well restored, beautiful. The other employees are sweet and very welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay at El Manantial, being one of the best places we have stayed through booking.com, and recommend Tetouan and the hotel to anyone who would be travelling to Morocco.
