Riad Aya is a hidden Moroccan gem for any tourist. Riad Aya is an incredible place to stay, to live and enjoy your days in Marrakesh….Gracias to give us the opportunity to know part of Morocco culture and, big hugs for all the staff….you are amazing hosts, 100% people oriented.
Riad Aya is unique…the short corridor to arrive for a fist time visitor it can be strange, but is safe, accessible, clean, picturesque!

Not much at all. The rooms were quite small. The responsible person not quite responsible, we asked for help ironing some items, but she was not responsive to our request. the had many excuses (24 hrs prior notice..) to find out that all she wanted was a fee.
Almost everything; small rooms, old furniture, bad host. There was construction next door with great amount of noise. The host appeared not concerned nor sympathetic as we had to wake up early every morning as a result of aforementioned construction noise.

Breakfast was great! Every employee is willing to help you with anything you might need! Employee stayed up to ensure all guests came back. Near a police station. So close to the iconic marketplace that is an easy walk mainly in shade.
From the outside looks odd and not as nice but as soon as you walk in it’s amazing. So don’t judge from the outside.

Very friendly staff, super service, beautiful setting, very tasty food and a great location. We had an amazing time there! Absolutely recommended!
weak wifi and the fact that you can hear everything (when breakfast is being made or served, when your neighbor is opening his door etc) but it is to expect in a traditional riad so it did not really worsen our stay and experience in general.

Great staff. Super friendly. would recommend this Riad. Beautiful interior.
Could have some fruits for the breakfast. Nothing else.

A wonderful place with extremely nice and helpful staff! The food is amazing! The food was 100% homemade and everything tasted fantastic! The Riad is also ideally located as most touristic places are at walkable distance! We Would definitely recommend Riad Aya.
Nothing!

Excellent customer service, staff were caring, friendly and attentive. It was obvious that the Riad was managed by a lady because of the small detail that women would often appreciate (aroma smell, a cosmetic mirror in the bathroom, etc). Great location (I recommend you asking for a pickup upon your arrival cause it’s a bit hidden) and great food! I must say that the dinner was the best I had in the Riads I stayed in Morocco! it was the only Riad that slightly changed its breakfast on daily basis, which was nice. It’s also nice how they’ve got a pool on the roof top!
Low water pressure but that maybe cause of the way how it was built. Everything other than this was perfect!

Cozy, classy oasis in the middel of old town. Quiet. Friendly staff that spoke well english and french.

The employees were very kind and friendly, which set the mood for the environment. It was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
It's possible my expectations are high, the shower did not have good pressure, the lighting in the rooms was too dim. The breakfast was ok, edible for sure but almost the same everyday which made it boring.

Breakfast was amazing, fresh, in-house prepared jam and yoghurt. Slight menu variation every day. The staff had incredible hospitality- Ismael, Yassine, Mohma, all so wonderful to talk to. Location really great next to the medina- that comes with the good and bad of city centre life, but was really convenient for my older parents to be to able to come in and out.
Nothing, I loved my stay at Riad Aya.

Riad Aya was absolutely superb! We had such a great experience due to the fantastic service from Yassine & Ismail. They were both so welcoming and attentive. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The riad was tucked away so it was nice and quiet. We would highly recommend staying at Riad Aya.

very very kind staff of the hotel.
the food in the hotel was good and fresh, but realy very expensive. Better to ask the price before to order. (because they have not a menu)

Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially Yusuf and Yasin. Sofia sat down with us on the first day and showed us the best places to visit and gave us a helpful map with notes on to guide us. The breakfast was amazing and very tasty.
Shower pressure could’ve been better but I understand it is not possible in all locations

The service was excellent, we were really well looked after for the entire trip. The staff will really go out of their way to make sure your enjoy your stay. The place has such a homely vibe to it which makes it really comfortable. The bed was comfy, the room was a little small but really cosy.
We also had dinner on the first night which was delicious and the breakfast each day was really good.
The only flaw (which is absolutely no fault of the owner or the staff) is that the alley way outside the Riad often had a large number of young men hanging around. We had no issue with them during our stay but they could be quite intimidating, especially if its your first time in Morocco.

Great facility with hands on owner (SOFIA) and staff was very accommodating. Very nice intimate Riad.
We had a hard time finding the place (taxi driver) and place was hidden but that may be the same for many Riads, regardless it was worth every night we stayed.

The location is fantastic, just on the outskirts of the Souk and close to many facilities and shops, but quiet. It has a nice number of rooms and the breakfasts are well prepared.
More down to personal choice but, given the colours of the Zellige tiles of Morocco, the Riad felt a bit characterless and dare I say dated, due to its brown and white colour scheme. In saying that, it was a very pleasant place to spend time.

Great staff very helpful with whatever requests prior and during stay. Location very good & would stay again highly recommend.

the personel, breakfast and overall comfort of staying at the riad was excellent.
I made a request to not clean the room which was ignored, this was not a great issue but perhaps paying a bit more attention to requests would be desirable.

The host and staff were very good. Breakfast was good and setting had a scenic ambiance. Walking distance from the main medinas and attractions.
Parking instructions could have been clearer. The Riad was difficult to find, had to depend on random people to guide us there, and of course they would charge you. The parking is not free and random people would charge you. Directions should be clearer for guests who are driving. The wifi was horrible and you better hope your phone has good data plan.

The staff was great, friendly, and helpful. Photos online were accurate. The location was great as well and we were able to escape all the noise from the city.
No breakfast earlier than 8.

Staff were amazing definitely coming back. I would recommend it without a doubt. Breakfast was traditional and fulling and I am a big guy.
Single bed was a bit small however I am 6'4.
